列王記Ⅱ 16
1 レマリヤの子ペカの十七年にユダの王ヨタムの子アハズ王となれり
In the seventeenth year of Pekah the son of Remaliah Ahaz the son of Jotham king of Judah began to reign.
2 アハズは王となれる時二十歳にしてエルサレムにおいて十六年世を治めたりしがその神ヱホバの善と見たまふ事をその父ダビデのごとくは行はざりき
Twenty years old [was] Ahaz when he began to reign, and reigned sixteen years in Jerusalem, and did not [that which was] right in the sight of the LORD his God, like David his father.
3 彼はイスラエルの王等の道にあゆみまたその子に火の中を通らしめたり是はヱホバがイスラエルの子孫の前より逐はらひたまひし異邦人のおこなふところの憎むべき事にしたがへるなり
But he walked in the way of the kings of Israel, and even made his son to pass through the fire, according to the abominations of the heathen, whom the LORD cast out from before the children of Israel.
4 彼は崇邱の上丘の上一切の靑木の下に犠牲をささげ香をたけり
And he sacrificed and burnt incense in the high places, and on the hills, and under every green tree.
5 この頃スリアの王レヂンおよびレマリヤの子なるイスラエルの王ペカ、エルサレムにせめのぼりてアハズを圍みけるが勝ことを得ざりき
Then Rezin king of Syria and Pekah son of Remaliah king of Israel came up to Jerusalem to war: and they besieged Ahaz, but could not overcome [him].
6 この時にあたりてスリアの王レヂン復エラテをスリアに歸せしめユダヤ人をエラテより逐いだせり而してスリア人エラテにきたりて其處に住み今日にいたる
At that time Rezin king of Syria recovered Elath to Syria, and drove the Jews from Elath: and the Syrians came to Elath, and have dwelt there to this day.
7 是においてアハズ使者をアツスリヤの王テグラテピレセルにつかはして言しめけるは我は汝の臣僕汝の子なりスリアの王とイスラエルの王と我に攻かかりをれば請ふ上りきたりてかれらの手より我を救ひいだしたまへと
So Ahaz sent messengers to Tiglath-pileser king of Assyria, saying, I [am] thy servant and thy son: come up, and save me from the hand of the king of Syria, and from the hand of the king of Israel, who rise up against me.
8 アハズすなはちヱホバの家と王の家の庫とにあるところの銀と金をとりこれを禮物としてアツスリヤの王におくりしかば
And Ahaz took the silver and gold that was found in the house of the LORD, and in the treasures of the king's house, and sent [it for] a present to the king of Assyria.
9 アツスリヤの王かれの請を容たりアツスリヤの王すなはちダマスコに攻のぼりて之をとりその民をキルに擄うつしまたレヂンを殺せり
And the king of Assyria hearkened to him: for the king of Assyria went up against Damascus, and took it, and carried [the people of] it captive to Kir, and slew Rezin.
10 かくてアハズはアツスリヤの王テグラテピレセルに會んとてダマスコにゆきけるがダマスコにおいて一箇の祭壇を見たればアスス王その祭壇の工作にしたがひて委くこれが圖と式樣を制へて祭司ウリヤにこれをおくれり
And king Ahaz went to Damascus to meet Tiglath-pileser king of Assyria, and saw an altar that [was] at Damascus: and king Ahaz sent to Urijah the priest the fashion of the altar, and the pattern of it, according to all the workmanship of it.
11 是において祭司ウリヤはアハズ王がダマスコよりおくりたる所にてらして一箇の祭壇をつくりアハズ王がダマスコより來るまでにこれを作りおけり
And Urijah the priest built an altar according to all that king Ahaz had sent from Damascus: so Urijah the priest made [it] against king Ahaz came from Damascus.
12 茲に王ダマスコより歸りてその祭壇を見壇にちかよりてこれに上り
And when the king had come from Damascus, the king saw the altar: and the king approached to the altar, and offered on it.
13 壇の上に燔祭と素祭を焚き灌祭をそそぎ酬恩祭の血を灑げり
And he burnt his burnt-offering and his meat-offering, and poured his drink-offering, and sprinkled the blood of his peace-offerings upon the altar.
14 彼またヱホバの前なる銅の壇を家の前より移せり即ちこれをかの新しき壇とヱホバの家の間より移してかの壇の北の方に置たり
And he brought also the brazen altar, which [was] before the LORD, from the front of the house, from between the altar and the house of the LORD, and put it on the north side of the altar.
15 而してアハズ王祭司ウリヤに命じて言ふ朝の燔祭夕の素祭および王の燔祭とその素祭ならびに國中の民の燔祭とその素祭および灌祭はこの大なる壇の上に焚べし又この上に燔祭の牲の血と犠牲の物の血をすべて灑ぐべし彼の銅の壇の事はなほ考ふるあらん
And king Ahaz commanded Urijah the priest, saying, Upon the great altar burn the morning burnt-offering, and the evening meat-offering, and the king's burnt-sacrifice, and his meat-offering, with the burnt-offering of all the people of the land, and their meat-offering, and their drink-offerings; and sprinkle upon it all the blood of the burnt-offering, and all the blood of the sacrifice: and the brazen altar shall be for me to inquire [by].
16 祭司ウリヤすなはちアハズ王のすべて命じたるごとくに然なせり
Thus did Urijah the priest, according to all that king Ahaz commanded.
17 またアハズ王臺の邊を削りて洗盤をその上よりうつしまた海をその下なる銅の牛の上よりおろして石の座の上に置ゑ
And king Ahaz cut off the borders of the bases, and removed the laver from off them; and took down the sea from off the brazen oxen that [were] under it, and put it upon a pavement of stones.
18 また家に造りたる安息日用の遊廊および王の外の入口をアツスリヤの王のためにヱホバの家の中に變じたり
And the covert for the sabbath that they had built in the house, and the king's entry without, he turned from the house of the LORD for the king of Assyria.
19 アハズのなしたるその餘の行爲はユダの王の歴代志の書にしるさるるにあらずや
Now the rest of the acts of Ahaz which he did, [are] they not written in the book of the chronicles of the kings of Judah?
20 アハズその先祖等とともに寝りてダビデの邑にその先祖等とともに葬られその子ヒゼキヤこれにかはりて王となれり
And Ahaz slept with his fathers, and was buried with his fathers in the city of David: and Hezekiah his son reigned in his stead.
