列王記Ⅰ 7
1 ソロモン己の家を建しが十三年を經て全く其家を建終たり
And Solomon was building his own house thirteen years, and he finished all his house.
2 彼レバノン森の家を建たり其長は百キユビト其濶は五十キユビト其高は三十キユビトなり香柏の柱四行ありて柱の上に香柏の梁あり
For he built the house of the forest of Lebanon: the length thereof was a hundred cubits, and the breadth thereof fifty cubits, and the height thereof thirty cubits, upon four rows of cedar pillars, with cedar beams upon the pillars.
3 四十五本の柱の上なる梁の上は香柏にて蓋へり柱は一行に十五本あり
And it was covered with cedar above upon the side-chambers, that lay on forty and five pillars, fifteen in a row.
4 また窻三行ありて牖と牖と三段に相對ふ
And there were beams in three rows; and light was over against light in three ranks.
5 戸と戸柱は皆大木をもて角に造り牖と牖と三段に相對へり
And all the doors with their posts were square in the frame; and light was over against light in three ranks.
6 又柱の廊を造れり其長五十キユビト其濶三十キユビトなり柱のまへに一の廊ありまた其柱のまへに柱と階あり
And he made the porch of pillars: the length thereof was fifty cubits, and the breadth thereof thirty cubits; and a porch before them; and pillars and thick beams before them.
7 又ソロモン審判を爲すために位の廊即ち審判の廊を造り牀板より牀板まで香柏をもて蔽へり
And he made the porch of the throne where he might judge, even the porch of judgment; and it was covered with cedar from floor to floor.
8 ソロモンの居住る家は其廊の後の他の庭にありて其工作同じかりきソロモン亦其娶りたるパロの女のために家を建しが此廊に同じかりき
And his house where he might dwell, in the other court, within the porch, was of the like work. He made also a house for Pharaoh's daughter, whom Solomon had taken to wife, like unto this porch.
9 是等は内外とも基礎より檐にいたるまで又外面にては大庭にいたるまで皆鑿石の量にしたがひて鋸にて剖たる貴き石をもて造れるものなり
All these were of costly stones, according to the measures of hewn stones, sawed with saws, within and without, even from the foundation unto the coping, and so on the outside unto the great court.
10 又基礎は貴き石大なる石即ち十キユビトの石八キユビトの石なり
And the foundation was of costly stones, even great stones, stones of ten cubits, and stones of eight cubits.
11 其上には鑿石の量に循ひて貴き石と香柏あり
And above were costly stones, after the measure of hewn stones, and cedar-wood.
12 又大庭の周圍にに三層の鑿石と一層の香柏の厚板ありヱホバの家の内庭と家の廊におけるが如し
And the great court round about had three rows of hewn stone, and a row of cedar beams, like as the inner court of the house of the LORD, and the court of the porch of the house.
13 爰にソロモン人を遣はしてヒラムをツロより召び來れり
And king Solomon sent and fetched Hiram out of Tyre.
14 彼はナフタリの支派なる嫠婦の子にして其父はツロの人にて銅の細工人なりヒラムは銅の諸の細工を爲すの智慧と慧悟と知識の充ちたる者なりしがソロモン王の所に來りて其諸の細工を爲り
He was the son of a widow of the tribe of Naphtali, and his father was a man of Tyre, a worker in brass; and he was filled with wisdom and understanding and skill, to work all works in brass. And he came to king Solomon, and wrought all his work.
15 彼銅の柱二を鋳たり其高各十八キユビトにして各十二キユビトの繩を環らすべし
Thus he fashioned the two pillars of brass, of eighteen cubits high each; and a line of twelve cubits did compass it about; and so the other pillar.
16 又銅を鎔して柱頭を鋳て柱の顛に置ゆ此の頭の高も五キユビト彼の頭の高も五キユビトなり
And he made two capitals of molten brass, to set upon the tops of the pillars; the height of the one capital was five cubits, and the height of the other capital was five cubits.
17 柱の上にある頭の爲に組物の網と鏈樣の槎物を造れり此頭に七つ彼頭に七つあり
He also made nets of checker-work, and wreaths of chain-work, for the capitals which were upon the top of the pillars: seven for the one capital, and seven for the other capital.
18 又二行の石榴を一の網工の上の四周に造りて柱の上にある頭を蓋ふ他の頭をも亦然せり
And he made the pillars; and there were two rows round about upon the one network, to cover the capitals that were upon the top of the pomegranates; and so did he for the other capital.
19 柱の上にある頭は四キユビトの百合花の形にして廊におけるがごとし
And the capitals that were upon the top of the pillars in the porch were of lily-work, four cubits.
20 二の柱の頭の上には亦網工の外なる腹の所に接きて石榴あり他の柱の四周にも石榴二百ありて相列べり
And there were capitals above also upon the two pillars, close by the belly which was beside the network; and the pomegranates were two hundred, in rows round about upon each capital.
21 此柱を拝殿の廊に竪つ即ち右の柱を立て其名をヤキンと名け左の柱を竪て其名をボアズと名く
And he set up the pillars at the porch of the temple; and he set up the right pillar, and called the name thereof Jachin; and he set up the left pillar, and called the name thereof Boaz.
22 其柱の上に百合花の形あり斯其柱の作成り
And upon the top of the pillars was lily-work; so was the work of the pillars finished.
23 又海を鋳なせり此邊より彼邊まで十キユビトにして其四周圓く其高五キユビトなり其四周は三十キユビトの繩を環らすべし
And he made the molten sea of ten cubits from brim to brim, round in compass, and the height thereof was five cubits; and a line of thirty cubits did compass it round about.
24 其邊の下には四周に匏瓜ありて之を環れり即ち一キユビトに十づつありて海の周圍を圍り其匏瓜は海を鋳たる時に二行に鋳たるなり
And under the brim of it round about there were knops which did compass it, for ten cubits, compassing the sea round about; the knops were in two rows, cast when it was cast.
25 其海は十二の牛の上に立り其三は北に向ひ三は西に向ひ三は南に向ひ三は東に向ふ海其上にありて牛の後は皆内に向ふ
It stood upon twelve oxen, three looking toward the north, and three looking toward the west, and three looking toward the south, and three looking toward the east; and the sea was set upon them above, and all their hinder parts were inward.
26 海の厚は手寛にして其邊は百合花にて杯の邊の如くに作れり海は二千斗を容たり
And it was a hand-breadth thick; and the brim thereof was wrought like the brim of a cup, like the flower of a lily; it held two thousand baths.
27 又銅の臺十を造れり一の臺の長四キユビト其濶四キユビト其高三キユビトなり
And he made the ten bases of brass; four cubits was the length of one base, and four cubits the breadth thereof, and three cubits the height of it.
28 其臺の製作は左のごとし臺には嵌板あり嵌板は邊の中にあり
And the work of the bases was on this manner: they had borders; and there were borders between the stays;
29 邊の中にある嵌板の上に獅子と牛とケルビムあり又邊の上に座あり獅子と牛の下に花飾の垂下物あり
and on the borders that were between the stays were lions, oxen, and cherubim; and upon the stays it was in like manner above; and beneath the lions and oxen were wreaths of hanging work.
30 其臺には各四の銅の輪と銅の軸あり其四の足には肩のごとき者あり其肩のごとき者は洗盤の下にありて凡の花飾の旁に鋳つけたり
And every base had four brazen wheels, and axles of brass; and the four feet thereof had undersetters; beneath the laver were the undersetters molten, with wreaths at the side of each.
31 其口は頭の内より上は一キユビトなり其口は圓く一キユビト半にして座の作の如し又其口には雕工あり其鏡板は四角にして圓からず
And the mouth of it within the crown and above was a cubit high; and the mouth thereof was round after the work of a pedestal, a cubit and a half; and also upon the mouth of it were gravings; and their borders were foursquare, not round.
32 四の輪は鏡板の下にあり輪の手は臺の中にあり輪は各高一キュビト半
And the four wheels were underneath the borders; and the axletrees of the wheels were in the base; and the height of a wheel was a cubit and half a cubit.
33 輪の工作は戰車の輪の工作の如し其手と縁と輻と轂とは皆鋳物なり
And the work of the wheels was like the work of a chariot wheel; their axletrees, and their felloes, and their spokes, and their naves, were all molten.
34 臺の四隅に四の肩の如き者あり其肩のごとき者は臺より出づ
And there were four undersetters at the four corners of each base; the undersetters thereof were of one piece with the base itself.
35 臺の上の所の高半キユビトは其周圍圓し又臺の上の所の手と鏡板も臺より出づ
And in the top of the base was there a round compass of half a cubit high; and on the top of the base the stays thereof and the borders thereof were of one piece therewith.
36 其手の板と鏡板には其各の隙處に循ひてケルビムと獅子と棕櫚を雕刻み又其四周に花飾を造れり
And on the plates of the stays thereof, and on the borders thereof, he graved cherubim, lions, and palm-trees, according to the space of each, with wreaths round about.
37 是のごとく十の臺を造れり其鋳法と量と形は皆同じ
After this manner he made the ten bases; all of them had one casting, one measure, and one form.
38 又銅の洗盤十を造れり洗盤は各四十斗を容れ洗盤は各四キユビトなり十の臺の上には各一の洗盤あり
And he made ten lavers of brass: one laver contained forty baths; and every laver was four cubits; and upon every one of the ten bases one laver.
39 其臺五を家の右の旁に五を家の左の旁に置ゑ家の右の東南に其海を置り
And he set the bases, five on the right side of the house, and five on the left side of the house; and he set the sea on the right side of the house eastward, toward the south.
40 ヒラム又鍋と火鏟と鉢とを造れり斯ヒラム、ヱホバの家の爲にソロモン王に爲る諸の細工を成終たり
And Hiram made the pots, and the shovels, and the basins. So Hiram made an end of doing all the work that he wrought for king Solomon in the house of the LORD:
41 即ち二の往と其柱の上なる頭の二の毬と柱の上なる其頭の二の毬を蓋ふ二の網工と
the two pillars, and the two bowls of the capitals that were on the top of the pillars; and the two networks to cover the two bowls of the capitals that were on the top of the pillars;
42 其二の網工の爲の石榴四百是は一の網工に石榴二行ありて柱の上なる二の毬を蓋ふ
and the four hundred pomegranates for the two networks, two rows of pomegranates for each network, to cover the two bowls of the capitals that were upon the top of the pillars;
43 又十の臺と其臺の上の十の洗盤と
and the ten bases, and the ten lavers on the bases;
44 一の海と其海の下の十二の牛
and the one sea, and the twelve oxen under the sea;
45 及び鍋と火鏟と鉢是也ヒラムがソロモン王にヱホバの家のために造りし此等の器は皆光明ある銅なりき
and the pots, and the shovels, and the basins; even all these vessels, which Hiram made for king Solomon, in the house of the LORD, were of burnished brass.
46 王ヨルダンの低地に於てスコテとザレタンの間の粘土の地にて之を鋳たり
In the plain of the Jordan did the king cast them, in the clay ground between Succoth and Zarethan.
47 ソロモン其器甚だしく多かりければ皆權ずに措り其銅の重しれざりき
And Solomon left all the vessels unweighed, because they were exceeding many; the weight of the brass could not be found out.
48 又ソロモン、ヱホバの家の諸の器を造れり即ち金の壇と供前のパンを載る金の案
And Solomon made all the vessels that were in the house of the LORD: the golden altar, and the table whereupon the showbread was, of gold;
49 および純金の燈臺是は神殿のまへに五は右に五は左にあり又金の花と燈盞と燈鉗と
and the candlesticks, five on the right side, and five on the left, before the Sanctuary, of pure gold; and the flowers, and the lamps, and the tongs, of gold;
50 純金の盆と剪刀と鉢と皿と滅燈器と至聖所なる内の家の戸のため及び拝殿なる家の戸のためなる金の肘鈕是なり
and the cups, and the snuffers, and the basins, and the pans, and the fire-pans, of pure gold; and the hinges, both for the doors of the inner house, the most holy place, and for the doors of the house, that is, of the temple, of gold.
51 斯ソロモン王のヱホバの家のために爲る諸の細工終れり是においてソロモン其父ダビデが奉納めたる物即ち金銀および器を携へいりてヱホバの家の寳物の中に置り
Thus all the work that king Solomon wrought in the house of the LORD was finished. And Solomon brought in the things which David his father had dedicated, the silver, and the gold, and the vessels, and put them in the treasuries of the house of the LORD.
