1 アロンの子孫の班列は左のごとしアロンの子等はナダブ、アビウ、エレアザル、イタマル
These were the divisions of the sons of Aaron. The sons of Aaron: Nadab, Abihu, Eleazar, and Ithamar.
2 ナダブとアビウはその父に先だちて死て子なかりければエレアザルとイタマル祭司となれり
But Nadab and Abihu died before their father, and had no children; therefore Eleazar and Ithamar served as priests.
3 ダビデ、エレアザルの子孫ザドクおよびイタマルの子孫アヒメレクとともに彼らを分ちて各その職と務に任じたり
David, with Zadok of the sons of Eleazar and Ahimelech of the sons of Ithamar, divided them according to their ordering in their service.
4 エレアザルの子孫の中にはイタマルの子孫の中よりも長たる人多かりき是をもてその分かれし班列はエレアザルの子孫たる宗家の長には十六ありイタマルの子孫たる宗家の長には八あり
There were more chief men found of the sons of Eleazar than of the sons of Ithamar; and they were divided like this: of the sons of Eleazar there were sixteen, heads of fathers’ houses; and of the sons of Ithamar, according to their fathers’ houses, eight.
5 斯彼らは籤によりて分たる彼と此と相等し其は聖所の督者および神の督者はエレアザルの子孫の中よりも出でイタマルの子孫の中よりも出ればなり
Thus they were divided impartially by drawing lots; for there were princes of the sanctuary and princes of God, both of the sons of Eleazar, and of the sons of Ithamar.
6 レビ人ネタネルの子シマヤといふ書記王と牧伯等と祭司ザドクとアビヤタルの子アヒメレクと祭司およびレビ人の宗家の長の前にて之を書しるせり即ちエレアザルのために宗家一を取ばまたイタマルのために宗家一を取り
Shemaiah the son of Nethanel the scribe, who was of the Levites, wrote them in the presence of the king, the princes, Zadok the priest, Ahimelech the son of Abiathar, and the heads of the fathers’ households of the priests and of the Levites; one fathers’ house being taken for Eleazar, and one taken for Ithamar.
7 第一の籤はヨアリブに當り第二はヱダヤに當り
Now the first lot came out to Jehoiarib, the second to Jedaiah,
8 第三はハリムに當り第四はセオリムに當り
the third to Harim, the fourth to Seorim,
9 第五はマルキヤに當り第六はミヤミンに當り
the fifth to Malchijah, the sixth to Mijamin,
10 第七はハツコヅに當り第八はアビアに當り
the seventh to Hakkoz, the eighth to Abijah,
11 第九はヱシユアに當り第十はシカニヤに當り
the ninth to Jeshua, the tenth to Shecaniah,
12 第十一はヱリアシブに當り第十二はヤキンに當り
the eleventh to Eliashib, the twelfth to Jakim,
13 第十三はホツバに當り第十四はエシバブに當り
the thirteenth to Huppah, the fourteenth to Jeshebeab,
14 第十五はビルガに當り第十六はインメルに當り
the fifteenth to Bilgah, the sixteenth to Immer,
15 第十七はヘジルに當り第十八はハビセツに當り
the seventeenth to Hezir, the eighteenth to Happizzez,
16 第十九はベタヒヤに當り第二十はエゼキエルに當り
the nineteenth to Pethahiah, the twentieth to Jehezkel,
17 第二十一はヤキンに當り第二十一はガムルに當り
the twenty-first to Jachin, the twenty-second to Gamul,
18 第二十三はデラヤに當り第二十四はマアジアに當れり
the twenty-third to Delaiah, and the twenty-fourth to Maaziah.
19 是その職務の順序なり彼らは之にしたがひてヱホバの家にいり其先祖アロンより傳はりし例規によりて勤むべかりしなり即ちイスラエルの神ヱホバの彼に命じたまひしごとし
This was their ordering in their service, to come into the LORD’s house according to the ordinance given to them by Aaron their father, as the LORD, the God of Israel, had commanded him.
20 その餘のレビの子孫は左の如しアムラムの子等の中にてはシユバエル、シユバエルの子等の中にてはヱデヤ
Of the rest of the sons of Levi: of the sons of Amram, Shubael; of the sons of Shubael, Jehdeiah.
21 レハビヤについてはレハビヤの子等の中にては長子イツシア
Of Rehabiah: of the sons of Rehabiah, Isshiah the chief.
22 イヅハリ人の中にてはシロミテ、シロミテの子等の中にてはヤハテ
Of the Izharites, Shelomoth; of the sons of Shelomoth, Jahath.
23 ヘブロンの子等の中にては長子ヱリヤ二子アマリヤ三子ヤハジエル四子ヱカメアム
The sons of Hebron: Jeriah, Amariah the second, Jahaziel the third, and Jekameam the fourth.
24 ウジエルの子等の中にてはミカ、ミカの子等の中にてはシヤミル
The sons of Uzziel: Micah; of the sons of Micah, Shamir.
25 ミカの兄弟をイツシアといふイツシアの子等の中にてはゼカリヤ
The brother of Micah: Isshiah; of the sons of Isshiah, Zechariah.
26 メラリの子等はマヘリおよびムシ、ヤジアの子等はベノ
The sons of Merari: Mahli and Mushi. The son of Jaaziah: Beno.
27 メラリの子孫のヤジアより出たる者はベノ、シヨハム、ザツクル、イブリ
The sons of Merari by Jaaziah: Beno, Shoham, Zaccur, and Ibri.
28 マヘリよりエレアザル出たりエレアザルは子等なかりき
Of Mahli: Eleazar, who had no sons.
29 キシについてはキシの子はヱラメル
Of Kish, the son of Kish: Jerahmeel.
30 ムシの子等はマヘリ、エデル、ヱリモテ是等はレビの子孫にしてその宗家にしたがひて言る者なり
The sons of Mushi: Mahli, Eder, and Jerimoth. These were the sons of the Levites after their fathers’ houses.
31 是らの者もまたダビデ王とザドクとアヒメレクと祭司およびレビ人の宗家の長たる者等の前にてアロンの子孫たるその兄弟等のごとく籤を掣り兄の宗家も弟の宗家も異なること無りき
These likewise cast lots even as their brothers the sons of Aaron in the presence of David the king, Zadok, Ahimelech, and the heads of the fathers’ households of the priests and of the Levites, the fathers’ households of the chief even as those of his younger brother.
