Adam, Sheth, Enosh,
2 ケナン、マハラレル、ヤレド
Kenan, Mahalaleel, Iered,
3 エノク、メトセラ、ラメク
Henoch, Methushelah, Lamech,
4 ノア、セム、ハム、ヤペテ
Noah, She, Ham, and Iapheth.
5 ヤベテの子等はゴメル、マゴグ、マデア、ヤワン、トバル、メセク、テラス
The sonnes of Iapheth were Gomer, and Magog, and Madai, and Iauan, and Tubal, and Meshech, and Tiras.
6 ゴメルの子等はアシケナズ、リパテ、トガルマ
And the sonnes of Gomer, Ashchenaz, and Iphath and Togarmah.
7 ヤワンの子等はエリシヤ、タルシシ、キツテム、ドダニム
Also the sonnes of Iauan, Elishah and Tarshishah, Kittim, and Dodanim.
8 ハムの子等はクシ、ミツライム、プテ、カナン
The sonnes of Ham were Cush, and Mizraim, Put and Canaan.
9 クシの子等はセバ、ハビラ、サブタ、ラアマ、サブテカ、ラアマの子等はセバとデダン
And the sonnes of Cush, Siba and Hauilah, and Sabta, and Raamah, and Sabtecha. Also the sonnes of Raamah were Sheba and Dedan.
10 クシ、ニムロデを生り彼はじめて世の權力ある者となれり
And Cush begate Nimrod, who began to be mightie in the earth.
11 ミツライムはルデ族アナミ族レハビ族ナフト族
And Mizraim begate Ludim and Anamim, Lehabim, and Naphtuhim:
12 パテロス族カスル族カフトリ族を生りカスル族よりペリシテ族出たり
Pathrusim also, and Casluhim, of whome came the Philistims, and Caphtorim.
13 カナンその冢子シドンおよびヘテを生み
Also Canaan begate Zidon his first borne, and Heth,
14 またヱブス族アモリ族ギルガシ族
And the Iebusite, and the Amorite, and the Girgashite,
15 ヒビ族アルキ族セニ族
And the Hiuuite, and the Arkite, and the Simite,
16 アルワデ族ゼマリ族ハマテ族を生り
And the Aruadite, and the Zemarite, and the Hamathite.
17 セムの子等はエラム、アシユル、アルバクサデ、ルデ、アラム、ウズ、ホル、ゲテル、メセク
The sonnes of Shem were Elam and Asshur, and Arpachshad, and Lud, and Aram, and Vz, and Hul, and Gether, and Meshech.
18 アルバクサデ、シラを生みシラ、エベルを生り
Also Arpachshad begate Shelah, and Shelah begate Eber.
19 エベルに二人の子生れたりその一人の名をベレグ(分)と曰ふ其は彼の代に地の人散り分れたればなりその弟の名をヨクタンと曰ふ
Vnto Eber also were borne two sonnes: the name of the one was Peleg: for in his dayes was ye earth deuided: and his brothers name was Ioktan.
20 ヨクタンはアルモダデ、シヤレフ、ハザルマウテ、ヱラ
Then Ioktan begate Almodad and Sheleph, and Hazermaueth and Ierah,
21 ハドラム、ウザル、デクラ
And Hadoram and Vzal and Diklah,
22 エバル、アビマエル、シバ
And Ebal, and Abimael, and Sheba,
23 オフル、ハビラおよびヨハブを生り是等はみなヨクタンの子なり
And Ophir, and Hauilah and Iobab: all these were the sonnes of Ioktan.
24 セム、アルバクサデ、シラ
Shem, Arpachshad, Shelah,
25 エベル、ベレグ、リウ
Eber, Peleg, Rehu,
26 セルグ、ナホル、テラ
Serug, Nahor, Terah,
27 アブラム是すなはちアブラハムなり
Abram, which is Abraham.
28 アブラハムの子等はイサクおよびイシマエル
The sonnes of Abraham were Izhak, and Ishmael.
29 彼らの子孫は左のごとしイシマエルの冢子はネバヨテ次はケダル、アデビエル、ミブサム
These are their generations. The eldest sonne of Ishmael was Nebaioth, and Kedar, and Adbeel, and Mibsam,
30 ミシマ、ドマ、マツサ、ハダデ、テマ
Mishma, and Dumah, Massa, Hadad, and Tema,
31 ヱトル、ネフシ、ケデマ、イシマエルの子孫は是の如し
Ietur, Naphish and Kedemah: these are the sonnes of Ishmael.
32 アブラハムの妾ケトラの生る子は左のごとし彼ジムラン、ヨクシヤン、メダン、ミデアン、イシバク、シユワを生りヨクシヤンの子等はシバおよびデダン
And Keturah Abrahams concubine bare sonnes, Zimran, and Iokshan, and Medan, and Midian, and Ishbak, and Shuah: and the sonnes of Iokshan, Sheba, and Dedan.
33 ミデアンの子等はエバ、エペル、ヘノク、アビダ、エルダア是等はみなケトラの生る子なり
And the sonnes of Midian were Ephah, and Ephar, and Henoch, and Abida, and Eldaah: All these are the sonnes of Keturah.
34 アブラハム、イサクを生りイザクの子等はヱサウとイスラエル
And Abraham begate Izhak: the sonnes of Izhak, Esau, and Israel.
35 エサウの子等はエリバズ、リウエル、ヱウシ、ヤラム、コラ
The sonnes of Esau were Eliphaz, Reuel, and Ieush, and Iaalam, and Korah.
36 エリバズの子等はテマン、オマル、ゼビ、ガタム、ケナズ、テムナ、アマレク
The sonnes of Eliphaz, Teman, and Omar, Zephi, and Gatam, Kenaz, and Timna, and Amalek.
37 リウエルの子等はナハテ、ゼラ、シヤンマ、ミツザ
The sonnes of Reuel, Nahath, Zerah, Shammah and Mizzah.
38 セイの子等はロタン、シヨバル、ヂベオン、アナ、デシヨン、エゼル、デシヤン
And the sonnes of Seir, Lotan, and Shobal, and Zibeon, and Anah, and Dishon, and Ezer, and Dishan.
39 ロタンの子等はホリとホマム、ロタンの妹はテムナ
And the sonnes of Lotan, Hori, and Homam, and Timna Lotans sister.
40 シヨバルの子等はアルヤン、マナハテ、エバル、シピ、オナム、ヂベオンの子等はアヤとアナ
The sonnes of Shobal were Alian, and Manahath, and Ebal, Shephi, and Onam. And the sonnes of Zibeon, Aiah and Anah.
41 アナの子等はデシヨン、デシヨンの子等はハムラム、エシバン、イテラン、ケラン、
The sonne of Anah was Dishon. And the sonnes of Dishon, Amran, and Eshban, and Ithran, and Cheran.
42 エゼルの子等はビルハン、ザワン、ヤカン、デシヤンの子等はウズおよびアラン
The sonnes of Ezer were Bilhan, and Zaauan, and Iaakan. The sonnes of Dishon were Vz, and Aran.
43 イスラエルの子孫を治むる王いまだ有ざる前にエドムの地を治めたる王等は左のごとしベオルの子ベラその都城の名はデナバといふ
And these were the Kings that reigned in the land of Edom, before a King reigned ouer the children of Israel, to wit, Bela the sonne of Beor, and the name of his citie was Dinhabah.
44 ベラ薨てボズラのゼラの子ヨバブこれに代りて王となり
Then Bela died, and Iobab the sonne of Zerah of Bozrah reigned in his stead.
45 ヨバブ薨てテマン人の地のホシヤムこれにかはりて王となり
And whe Iobab was dead, Hussham of the land of the Temanites reigned in his stead.
46 ホシヤム薨てベダデの子ハダデこれにかはりて王となれり彼モアブの野にてミデアン人を撃りその都城の名はアビテといふ
And when Hussham was dead, Hadad the sonne of Bedad which smote Midian in the fielde of Moab, reigned in his steade, and the name of his citie was Auith.
47 ハダデ薨てマスレカのサムラこれに代りて王となり
So Hadad dyed, and Samlah of Mashrecah reigned in his stead.
48 サムラ薨て河の旁なるレホボテのサウルこれに代りて王となり
And Samlah dyed, and Shaul of Rehoboth by the riuer reigned in his stead.
49 サウル薨てアクボルの子バアルハナンこれに代りて王となり
And when Shaul was dead, Baal-hanan the sonne of Achbor reigned in his stead.
50 バアルハナン薨てハダデこれにかはりて王となれりその都城の名はパイといふその妻はマテレデの女子にして名をメヘタベルといへりマテレデはメザハブの女なり
And Baal-hanan dyed, and Hadad reigned in his stead, and the name of his citie was Pai, and his wiues name Mehetabel the daughter of Matred the daughter of Mezahab.
51 ハダデも薨たり／エドムの諸侯は左のごとし、テムナ侯アルヤ侯ヱテテ侯
Hadad dyed also, and there were dukes in Edom, duke Timna, duke Aliah, duke Ietheth,
52 アホリバマ侯エラ侯ピノン侯
Duke Aholibamah, duke Elah, duke Pinon,
53 ケナズ侯テマン侯ミブザル侯
Duke Kenaz, duke Teman, duke Mibzar,
54 マグデエル侯イラム侯エドムの諸侯は是のごとし
Duke Magdiel, duke Iram: these were the dukes of Edom.
