< Ufilimon 1 >
1 Mi Bulus, vana inyang anyimo a Yessu nan Timoti uhenu uru uhana Ufilimon uhenu iriba iru, u roni ukatuma.
PAUL, a prisoner of Christ Jesus, and Timothy a brother, to Philemon the beloved, and our fellow-labourer,
2 Uhana Aufiya ku henu kuru, nan unu tarsa Asere anyimo akura.
and to Apphia the beloved, and to Archippus our fellow-soldier, and to the church at thy house:
3 Imumu i ruma iriba ishew ahira Asere nan i vana me Yesu i cukuno anyimo ashi.
grace be to you, and peace from God our Father, and the Lord Jesus Christ.
4 Ma guna Asere ankwoi barki shi anyimo abi ringara bum.
I thank my God always, making mention of thee in my prayers,
5 Barki ukunnna uhem ushi me nan unu ahira Asere nan aka tuma kameme.
hearing of thy love and faith which thou hast towards the Lord Jesus, and unto all the saints;
6 Inzin in biringara barkin u inko iriba ishi me nan umuta ace ashi me, i cukuno imumu ibezi ubari nan ure aje utize tiriri sa tizi tiru, barki Asere.
that there may be an operative communication of thy faith made known by every good thing, which is in you towards Jesus Christ.
7 Ma wuna iriba irum, iriba im ya totto barki uhenu umeme, mu riba ma hana Asere ma cukuno was barki hu.
For we have great joy and consolation in thy love, because the bowels of the saints have been refreshed by thee, brother.
8 Barki ani me, ca in gu barki Yesu, in zin in nikara in gun hu uwuzi vat imum be sa izi ihuma.
Wherefore, though I have in Christ great liberty to enjoin thee what is becoming,
9 Vat anime barki uhem, iteki in nnoki inmyira, mi Bulus ucokoro ana me be vana inyang barki Yesu.
I rather for love’s sake entreat, being such as Paul the aged, and now also a prisoner for Jesus Christ.
10 In zini u igizo ushi abanga avana um Unisimas desa mazi mazi aco ameme uganiya ma raa anyimo inya.
I entreat thee for my son, whom I have begotten during my bonds, Onesimus:
11 Uganiya me mazi imum ba ahira aweme ana me mazi imum ahira aru mi nan hu.
who in time past hath been an unprofitable servant to thee, but now very profitable to thee and to me:
12 Mi monno ma tuburko me ahira aweme kasi nigoro ni iriba im.
whom I have sent back; thou therefore receive him, even as my own bowels:
13 Mazin uguna in inta me ahira am, ma wuzim katuma anyo aweme, uganiya sa ma raa anyimo inyan.
whom I wished to detain about myself, that in thy stead he might have waited upon me during my bonds for the gospel:
14 Ani me in da nyara in wuzi iri mum sarki uhem uwe me ba, kati imum be sa u wuza i cukuno dake unu hem uweme ba.
but without thy consent would I do nothing; that this good deed of thine might not be as of necessity, but from thy own choice.
15 Nani ine ini ya wuna ya harzina cingili, barki ikuri i gurna sarki ukuru harzina. (aiōnios )
For to this end perhaps was he separated from thee for a season, that thou mightest receive him for ever; (aiōnios )
16 Da kasi urerenba, ma aka ahira u rere, ma cukuno imumu wunairiba, ahira am nan a hira awe ahira atuma kani pum nan ka Asere.
no longer as a slave, but above a slave, as a brother beloved, especially by me, but how much more by thee, both in the flesh, and in the Lord?
17 Barki ani me ingi wa zikam uroni utanu kaba me kasi mime.
If therefore thou holdest me a sharer with thee, receive him as myself.
18 Ingi wa wuna imum i cara iriba, nani u tarsa me ire imum, kurzo ini ani ce num.
If he hath injured thee or oweth thee ought, put that to my account;
19 Mi Bulus, mi mani ma nyertike in tari tum, indi kurzo we ni, katti u iri imum me sa ma wuza ani ce ni weme.
I Paul have given it under my own hand, I will repay it, not to say to thee, that thou owest even thine own self unto me.
20 U henu um, hem in kem iri mum sa inda perkem ba ahira aweme barki Asere, ca in kem imum be sa udi natim iriba barki Yesu.
Yea, brother, I wish to have joy in thee in the Lord: refresh my bowels in the Lord.
21 Ma hem imumum be sa uwuzam, ine ini ya wunam ma nyertike, barki in rusa udi wuzi i aki imum be sa ma buka.
Having confidence in thy obedience, I have written unto thee, knowing that thou wilt do more than I say.
22 A'ani me barkam ahira utotto, in inso iriba ahem in mi u aye ahira ashi me barki biringara bishi me.
But at the same time prepare me also a lodging: for I hope that through your prayers I shall be given unto you.
23 Abafaras, uroni um sa atirin duru nan me barki Yesu, ma iso shi.
There salute thee Epaphras, my fellow-prisoner in Christ Jesus;
24 Ane ani Markus, Aristarkus, Dimas, nan Luka aroni aka tuma kam wa isoshi.
Mark, Aristarchus, Demas, Luke, my fellow-labourers.
25 Ca mu riba mu shi me mu cukuno lau anyimo niza ni Yesu. Ni cukuno ani me.
The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with thy spirit. Amen. Written to Philemon from Rome, by Onesimus one of his household.
