1 Ane ani cukuno ni anu tarsa Asere, gusi uhem mr, sa mazika shi a hana ameme.
Be, therefore, imitators of God, as beloved children;
2 Cukuno ni, unu hem gusi unu kaba uru me sa ma hem in haru, mano ma nya nice ni meme imum u ira wanu unya uronta wa Asere.
and walk in love, even as Christ has loved us, and has given himself for us, an offering and a sacrifice to God, for a sweet smelling savor.
3 Kati i suzo ace shi inki ido wuzi ni isi nan aye a shi me ine ini iriri me, a hira ande be sa wa hana piit nan na Asere.
But whoredom, and all uncleanness, and inordinate desire-- let them not even be named among you; (as it becomes saints; )
4 Nyani udira uni ce, tize ti hura, nan biranzo bi zatu uri, im bari i cukuno ayimo riba irom.
nor obscenity, nor foolish talking, nor double meanings, nor things uncomely; but rather thanksgiving.
5 Katuma ka madini, ticuku ti madini, unu uwuza uma kiri, mazo me in na hira a nyimo akura unu kaba nan Asere.
For this you know, that no fornicator, nor unclean person, nor lascivious man, who is an idolater, has inheritance in the kingdom of Christ, and of God.
6 Kati uye ma rangi shi in tize ti hura, barki ani mani ya wuna iriba iburu i Ugomo Asere idi tu, ani cw na hana be sa daki wa kaba me.
Let no one deceive you with vain speeches; for on account of these things, the wrath of God comes upon the children of disobedience.
7 Kati i haki nan we.
Be not, therefore, participants with them.
8 Ya raa mariu, ana me iraa a masar ma Asere, barki ani me haka ni gusi ahana ama sa.
For you were formerly darkness; but now you are light in the Lord; walk as children of light.
9 Uyo u riri ume sa une uni uhuma me, ulau, wa ka dundure.
(Now, the fruit of life consists in all goodness, and righteousness, and truth.)
10 Ubezi imum besa ine ini iriri ya Asere.
Approve what is well pleasing to the Lord.
11 Kati ipasa ace ashi me, nan debesa wazin unu to umare, pogi zonwe.
And have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather even reprove them.
12 Imim be sa wa wuza ini ku gu agi abuki.
For the things which are secretly done by them, it is base even to mention.
13 Vat imum sa iraa ama saa.
But all these reprehensible things are made manifest by the light; for whatever makes manifest is light.
14 Barki masaa me mazi vat, sa agu “hira”, hu sa uzin im moro, ukuri uhiri a nyimo i cau, unu bura madi pokkiwe ma saa.
Wherefore, it says, Awake, you who sleep, and arise from the dead, and Christ will shine upon you.
15 Barki ani me tarsani seke in ti cuku tiwe me, azo gusi unu dira urusa banga.
See, then, that you walk accurately: not as fools, but as wise men;
16 Rusa uganiya barki tiye me ti i be izen-zeng ini.
redeeming time, because the days are evil.
17 Kti u cukuno shagalak, rusa imum be sa Asere ma nyara ini.
Therefore be not simpletons, but understand what the will of the Lord is.
18 Kati usi ubere, una uhurne me uni, unu guna uwu anime imbari wa cukuno in bibe biriri.
And we not drunk with wine, by which comes dissoluteness; but be filled with the Spirit:
19 Booni tize ace ce a shime ina gburan uzabura, ini re ini nonzo ini re ibibe, izin ini re izabura a hira Ugomo Asere, ini nonzo a mu ruba mu shi me.
speaking to one another in psalms, and hymns, and spiritual songs; singing and making melody in your heart to the Lord:
20 I dingi wuza Ugomo Asere a co aru ankoi anyimo vat imum besa i wuza ini.
giving thanks at all times for all things, in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, to God, even the Father.
21 Witoni ace ashi me anyimo a biyau bi Yesu unu kaba.
Be subject to one another, in the fear of God.
22 Shiane witoni ace ashi ahira anu roma ushi me gusi uwuza be sa a wuza Ugomo Asere.
Wives, be subject to your own husbands, as to the Lord.
23 Uroma me mani ni cenu une umeme, gusi Yesu sa mazi nan nu utarsa ume me, ine ini nipum ni me me, me nice ni meme, memani unu bura uni pum me.
For the husband is head of the wife, even as Christ is head of the congregation; he is the saviour of the body.
24 Gusi anabu umu tarsa utize ta Asere sa wa wito ace awe me ahira unu kaba uru, animani shi ane idi witi ace ashi me a hira anu uruma ushi me.
Therefore, as the congregation is subject to Christ; so, also, let the wives be to their own husbands, in everything.
25 Shi anu uroma in tani anet a shime memerum gu unu kaba uru me sa ma nya nuce ni meme barka unu tarsa utize timeme.
Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ, also, loved the congregation, and gave himself for it;
26 Ma suso tini lau a hira Asere ma kuri ma kpico duru in mei nan tize timeme.
that he might sanctify it, having cleansed it with a bath of water, with the word.
27 Mu wu ani barki ma witi nice ni meme, ahira anu tarsa tize timeme ti cukuno memerun kang, sarki ire imum izenzen i xukuno lau sarki madini.
That he might present it to himself glorious, a congregation not having spot, or wrinkle, or any such thing; but that it might be holy, and without blemish.
28 Ani mani anyara anu ruma wa inta une a wamme, sarki madini gusi apum awamme ani vat dwbe sa ma inta une nice ni me nini ma inta.
So ought husbands to love their own wives, as their own bodies: he who loves his own wife, loves himself.
29 Barki, an debe sa wamu nyaruma ume nice ni meme ca bati ma inta nini memerum, gusi unu bara uru me sama inta anu tarsa umeme.
For no man ever yet hated his own flesh; but nourishes and cherishes it, even as the Lord the congregation:
30 Haru agememtihi hira tumeme tini.
because we are members of his body, of his flesh, and of his bones.
31 Gusi unyetike sa awuzi, anu guna caa unu ma ceki a ino amwme nan kaco ameme, ma tafina une umeme we ware wa cukuno binama bi inde.
For this reason shall a man leave his father and mother, and shall adhere to his wife; and the two shall become one flesh.
32 Tize ti ginome tini hunzi tini, imboo abanga unu kaba uru mani nan anu tarsa umeme.
This is a great mystery; but I speak concerning Christ and the congregation.
33 Vat tize tiginome takem shi vat ushi inta ni ane ashi memerum shu ane tarsani anu ruma ushi me ini ruba indw.
Therefore, also, let every one of you in particular, so love his own wife as himself; and let the wife reverence her husband.
