1 Anu kurzuzo utize timacico wa suro anyimo anu, kasi sa adi kem anu udungura amacico anyimo ashime, wadi e anyimo anihunzi barki wa cari abanga, wadi gaa we desa maa e inwe.
But there arose false-prophets also among the people, as, among you also, there shall be, false-teachers, —men who will stealthily bring in destructive parties, even the Master that bought them, denying, bringing upon themselves speedy destruction;
2 Anu gbardang wadi tarsi uzatu urusa uwe me, usuro uwe me wadi gaa me unna ukadure barki we.
And, many, will follow out their wanton ways, —by reason of whom, the way of truth, will be defamed,
3 Ana amu mum muriba anu dungura umacico wadi ri aje inshi in tize timacico ma weme. Amu weki tize ace awe me datti, desa madi hu we mamu tonno riri.
And, in greed, with forged words, will they, of you, make merchandise: for whom, the sentence from of old, is not idle, and, their destruction, doth not slumber.
4 Asere daki ma kaska ibe ikadura kame ni ba sa wa wuzi imum imadini. Maa vingi we akura ura, ma tuburko we anyimo ati wa ti concon, tima re mabibit, akurzo we uhana uwui uweki utize. (Tartaroō )
For—if, God, spared not, messengers, when they sinned, but, to pits of gloom, consigning them, in the lowest hades, delivered them up to be kept, unto judgment, — (Tartaroō )
5 Ya ira daki ma kaska anu nin datti unutuba ba, ma tarsi in Nuhu una utize tihuma, nan aye anu sunare, uganiya sa maa tumi mei ma utufana uhana anyimo unee uge me wa anu zatu tarsa Asere.
And, an ancient world, spared not, but, with seven others, preserved, Noah, a proclaimer, of righteousness, a flood, upon a world of ungodly persons, letting loose, —
6 Me sa maa kurzo nipin nu Usaduma nan Ugomorata mutto, maa weki we tize ti iwono, ma kurzo we imumum ahira adesa wada tarsa Asere ba.
And, the cities of Sodom and Gomorrah, reducing to ashes, he condemned, an example of such as should be ungodly, having set forth, —
7 Me mani maa buri Lutu una kadure, desa imum igebe sa ana gbas waa wuzi ya cari me iriba ni kan.
And, righteous Lot, when getting worn out by the behaviour of them who were impious in wantonness, he rescued—
8 Barki imum igino me sa unu kadure kagino me maa wuzi, maa iri uganiya ma raa anyimo awe, kondi uya uwui make ma kunna ukuni ukatuma ku gbas uwe me iriba ime me una kadure.
For, in seeing and hearing, since he dwelt right among them, as a righteous man, he used to torment his soul, day by day, with their lawless deeds—
9 Asere arusa una sa madi buri anu biyau bime abi basa-basa, ma kuri ma karti anu akadure uhana uweki utize tini kubu.
[Then] the Lord knoweth how to rescue, the godly out of trial; but to keep, the unrighteous unto a day of judgment to be punished; —
10 Andesa wamu reki ace awe anyimo amei maje mazenzeng sa ma carsa anu nin, wa iziza tigomo. Anu debe-debe aje wani, unu ugbas wani, wada kunna biyau buzogo ana tigomo ba.
Most of all, however, them who go their way, after the flesh, with a coveting of defilement, and who despise, lordship, —daring! willful! before dignitaries, they tremble not, defaming,
11 Ibe iriri sa wazi datti, wa teki we in nikara, vat anime daki nya aburi aje Asere ba.
where, messengers, though, greater in might and power, are not bringing against them [before the Lord] a defamatory accusation, —
12 Anu aginome, wazi gusi inama a'iro anu uzatu unuce, anu tarsa imum igebesa apum awe anya we cas, adesa anyo, barki ameki ahu, wa cari imum igebe sa da wa tinka ba, wadi wi barki ucorno ugino uwe me.
These, however, as unreasoning creatures that have been bred as being, by nature, for capture and destruction, in the things they are ignorant of, uttering defamation, in their spoiling, shall also be made a spoil, —
13 Wa zinu usa ukem ukatuma kaburi kaweme wa zika agi ukunna urunta uni unu wui ace wa cukuno abit, imum imu'i, waa nya ace abi riza-riza nan bisiza-siza wa zinu kunna urunta anyimo ashi.
Doing wrong themselves, for a reward of wrong, accounting, a delight, their day-time delicacy, spots and blemishes, indulging in delicacies with their stratagems, as they carouse together with you,
14 Madini mutarsa ane ahira awe me, wada tiso me inkatuma kamadini, wa ranga andesa da wa barka ace awe ba. Wa rusa ulindaru. Andesa a wuna we ayu.
Having, eyes, full of an adulteress, and that cannot rest from sin, enticing unstable souls, having, a heart trained in greed, —children of a curse, —
15 Waa vete una udert, wa hunne we wa tarsa una ubal, amu vana Ubeyor, desa ma nyara ukenzi una imumu iriba.
Forsaking a straight path, they have gone astray, following out the way of Balaam [son] of Beor, who loved, a reward of wrong,
16 Agbarika me ahira uszikime ume, binama ba'iro bizatu iyau ba buki tize kasi unu bi gbarika iranza unu ukurzuzo utize ugino me.
But had, a reproof, of his own transgression, a dumb beast of burden, in man’s voice, finding utterance, forbade the prophet’s madness.
17 Anu aginome wazi kasi ti hira ti ususo umei tigebe sa ta imbizino, uni siziki me mani sa upebu uzuro. We wani a'inko barki mare mabibit magino me. ()
These, are fountains without water, and mists, by a tempest, driven along, —for whom, the gloom of darkness, hath been reserved;
18 Wa boo sarki nice anu zatu ace nan uhurse inyimo me.
For, great swelling words of vanity, uttering, they entice with carnal covetings—in wanton ways—them who are, well-nigh, escaping from the men who, in error, have their behaviour;
19 Wa bezizi we gusi anu kadure anu aticukum tirunta da waku zi anime ba, barki weana re inama ya anu wani, barki unu urere mani ahira desa ma ranga me.
Promising, freedom to them, they themselves, being all the while, slaves of corruption, —for, by whom one hath been defeated, by the same, hath he become enslaved, —
20 Ingi aguna wa wa suburka madini m, u unee barki usuro urusa uyeso uru, yeso unubura uru, ingi wa kuri wa kuro anyimo amdini magino me, ticukum ti ana me ti teki ta aje me unu zenzeng.
For, if, having escaped from the defilements of the world by a personal knowledge of the Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ, but, by the same having again become entangled, they are defeated, the, last, state hath become, for them, worse than, the first;
21 Sarki daki wamu donkino ticukum ti runta datti ba, ida teki we sa wa rusan in tini wadi ku gamirka wa ceki utarsa utize tiginome tilau.
For, better, had it been for them—not to have obtained a personal knowledge of the way of righteousness, than, having obtained such knowledge, to turn back out of the holy commandment delivered unto them.
22 Kadure kani ugamirka utize wa gunna agi”boci ba ree tiwija ti meme, biladu sa azoro bini ba kuro bi zinu uhingirzino abijamirka”.
There hath befallen them the thing [spoken of] in the true proverb—A dog, turning back unto his own vomit, and—A sow, as soon as washed, unto wallowing in mire.
