2 Ubiturus 1
1 Saminu sa agusa me Birus, urere u Yeso, unakaura ka Yeso, uhena ahira an desa a nya we muriba mu inko iriba i huma usandu iriba iriba iru, ahira katuma ka ge be sa Asere unu ubura uru ma ma wuzi duru.
Simon Peter, a servant and an apostle of Jesus Christ, to them that have obtained like precious faith with us through the righteousness of God and our Saviour Jesus Christ:
2 Nihuma man ti cukum ti man ti wa gbardang ahira ashi, uwutu urusa Asere nan Yeso.
Grace and peace be multiplied unto you through the knowledge of God, and of Jesus our Lord,
3 Asere unu bari umeme ma uwuzi duru u aye u aye urizo uti mum mum sa ta wuna urii u ira nan utarsa ume, urusa udesa ma titin duru barki ukem uni nonzo nan ni ti eki nume.
According as his divine power hath given unto us all things that [pertain] unto life and godliness, through the knowledge of him that hath called us to glory and virtue:
4 An desa ahira awe ma wuzin duru urizo nan utira utize gbardang tumeme in ni nonzo, barki ahira imum igino me icukuno ana tanu nan Asere ahira anipum, barki sa ya aka ahira ucurome uginome sa ura unē nan aje aburi azenzen sa ayozo.
Whereby are given unto us exceeding great and precious promises: that by these ye might be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust.
5 Barki ahira aginome ani, wuzani seke, i kinki u inko iriba ini iriba ihuma, iriba ihuma rusa imum igebesa izi irizi.
And beside this, giving all diligence, add to your faith virtue; and to virtue knowledge;
6 Irusa imumu ihuma, nan umeki unice nan utira iriba nan utarsa Asere.
And to knowledge temperance; and to temperance patience; and to patience godliness;
7 Utarsa Asere nan uhem uni henu, uhem uni henu nan uhem.
And to godliness brotherly kindness; and to brotherly kindness charity.
8 Ingi izin in mu riba mu ginome ma cukuno mushi, ingi imum iginome i ukingizi, idi wu shi ida cukuno sarki imum iwuzaba, nan anu zatu imum iwuza ahira Yeso ba.
For if these things be in you, and abound, they make [you that ye shall] neither [be] barren nor unfruitful in the knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ.
9 Barki vat desa ma dira mu ruba mu ginome, me urubo mani nani uhira umeme uzi cin-cin, ma perkeme a kpici me madini mameme mu datti.
But he that lacketh these things is blind, and cannot see afar off, and hath forgotten that he was purged from his old sins.
10 Barki anime, shi ni henu kinki u nya ace barki utittta sa atitti shi nan uzauka ushi sa awuzi. Barki ingi ya tarsa ida irizo shi ba.
Wherefore the rather, brethren, give diligence to make your calling and election sure: for if ye do these things, ye shall never fall:
For so an entrance shall be ministered unto you abundantly into the everlasting kingdom of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. (aiōnios g166)
12 Barki anime tida venken duru uringizi ushi imum igino ba, isa rusa, ya tunno in nikara ahira unya iriba iginome sa izini.
Wherefore I will not be negligent to put you always in remembrance of these things, though ye know [them], and be established in the present truth.
13 Uhira um imum i huma ini, ingi in vengize anyimo anipum in geme, in dingi uboo ushi unaa uringizi.
Yea, I think it meet, as long as I am in this tabernacle, to stir you up by putting [you] in remembrance;
14 In sa rusa ma aye mamu uharzina nan nipum num nigeme, kasi sa Asere am Yeso ma bezum.
Knowing that shortly I must put off [this] my tabernacle, even as our Lord Jesus Christ hath shewed me.
15 Indi wuzi ubinani ini kara num, barki iringizi in ini inka madusa.
Moreover I will endeavour that ye may be able after my decease to have these things always in remembrance.
16 Da itenten imacico ini ta tarsa, sa buka shi ubari ugomo Asere, nan ti cukum tumeme, ni nonzo nume nini ta iri jenjeng.
For we have not followed cunningly devised fables, when we made known unto you the power and coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, but were eyewitnesses of his majesty.
17 Ma kabi ubari nan ninonzo ahira Asere ugomo, ma kuri ma nonzikome, ni magmirang ni ē aseseri, ''unu ugeme vana um mani sa ahem in me, desa in wuza iriba irum nan me kadure.''
For he received from God the Father honour and glory, when there came such a voice to him from the excellent glory, This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased.
18 Hare wani ta kunna myyran niginome sa atuzo aseseri, barki tazi nigome nan me azeseri anipo ni lau niginome.
And this voice which came from heaven we heard, when we were with him in the holy mount.
19 Uhana ukani a kinki duru abaga aginome, ya wuna uri ahira ashi me, iwuzi seke ahira tini, kasi upitila u nyinza masāa ahira amarēe uhana usana ahira, bi wirang bi usana ahira bbi nya masā iriba ishime.
We have also a more sure word of prophecy; whereunto ye do well that ye take heed, as unto a light that shineth in a dark place, until the day dawn, and the day star arise in your hearts:
20 Unu tuba rusani, rusani ashi anime agi ba tire tize sada ki apoki amatagarda barki iriba unubu.
Knowing this first, that no prophecy of the scripture is of any private interpretation.
21 Barki tize tiginome ada kenze tini ahira iriba unu, anu wani wani cas bi be biriri bi wuza nan we, Asere aboo tize ati nyo tuweme.
For the prophecy came not in old time by the will of man: but holy men of God spake [as they were] moved by the Holy Ghost.
