< 1 Timoti 3 >
1 Tize tigeme ane ani tizi. inki uye mazi nu ukolimo ma cukuno unaje udenge Asere mazin nu ukolimo ukatuma ka re-re.
Faithful is the saying, If a man seeketh the office of a bishop, he desireth a good work.
2 Barki anime, ya cukuno gbas una je macukuno imum uzatu uboo. macukuno unu une inde, ma cukuno unu meki unicce, unu iriba ishew, unu kabsa utize unu kabsa agyanu, ma cukuno unu bezi utize.
The bishop therefore must be without reproach, the husband of one wife, temperate, soberminded, orderly, given to hospitality, apt to teach;
3 Kati ma cukuno unu sisa ubere, una matara, ahira agino ma cukuno unu naza iruba, unu hem ina anu, daki unu nyara ikirfi ba.
no brawler, no striker; but gentle, not contentious, no lover of money;
4 Ma cukuno tarsa ina kura ameme memerum, ahana ameme wa cukuno anu wuza ume imum ire-re nan u tinanu.
one that ruleth well his own house, having [his] children in subjection with all gravity;
5 Abanna inki daki unu marusa utarsa ina kura ameme ba, aneni madi rusi ucenti akura Asere?
(but if a man knoweth not how to rule his own house, how shall he take care of the church of God?)
6 Daki ya wuna macukuno gusi unu usso ukaba utize ta sereba, barki kati mabo unu vangizi unicce, kati marizi anyimo usanda uweki utize tige sa weki unu uburu ugino me.
not a novice, lest being puffed up he fall into the condemnation of the devil.
7 Ma cukuno unu iriba ire-re ahira ande sa wa tawe tize ta Asere, barki kati mariba anyimo amu ē nyani ribe ani barda unu uburu.
Moreover he must have good testimony from them that are without; lest he fall into reproach and the snare of the devil.
8 Ane ani ma Dikinoni wa cukuno anu abenki, azo ana tize kani kareba, daki ya wuna ure wa cukuno anu siza ubere banyani wa cukuno unu inta pash.
Deacons in like manner [must be] grave, not doubletongued, not given to much wine, not greedy of filthy lucre;
9 Wa cukuno anu inta masaa makadura nan nuhem ukadura nan nu ubassa abanga are-re.
holding the mystery of the faith in a pure conscience.
10 Memerum ini atubi ubezi uwe, abini me watubi kaduma barki ini mum ibi bugum.
And let these also first be proved; then let them serve as deacons, if they be blameless.
11 Ane ani ane wa cukuno anu tarsa ina nu, daki ya wuna uree wa cukuno ana bi bukum ba, abanna me anu umeki acce nan nu urusa u inta akura anyimo akondi ya imum.
Women in like manner [must be] grave, not slanderers, temperate, faithful in all things.
12 Ya cukuno ma Dikinoni ma cukuno ana ne wa inde-inde, warusi u tarsa ina hana aweme nan tikura ti weme.
Let deacons be husbands of one wife, ruling [their] children and their own houses well.
13 Abanna me ande sa wa wuza katuma ka re-re wakem utonno ure-re dangas anyimouhem ukatuma ka sere sa karaa anyimo Ugomo Asere Yeso.
For they that have served well as deacons gain to themselves a good standing, and great boldness in the faith which is in Christ Jesus.
14 Inzin nu nyatike wa ti mum tigino me, unu inko iriba indi e ahira aweme daki unu dadangino ba.
These things write I unto thee, hoping to come unto thee shortly;
15 Abanna inki māde, in zin nu nyetike uwen barki urusi una be sa udi tarsi intimum tiweme anyimo akura Asere, udenge Asere ivai, nitin nan unu benki ukadura.
but if I tarry long, that thou mayest know how men ought to behave themselves in the house of God, which is the church of the living God, the pillar and ground of the truth.
16 Da matara marani mazo amu bezi u tarsa Asere aru u kadura kani kazi gbardang. “Ma bezi nicce numeme anyimo anipum, bibe ba suso me, ahana akadura ka sere wa iri me, akiti me ahira anu zatu tarsa Asere, a hem im me anyimo unee, abine ani aziti me me uhana a zesere anyimo ani nonzo.
And without controversy great is the mystery of godliness; He who was manifested in the flesh, justified in the spirit, seen of angels, preached among the nations, believed on in the world, received up in glory.
