Ezechiele 2

1 E mi disse: “Figliuol d’uomo, rizzati in piedi, e io ti parlerò”.

And he seide to me, Thou, sone of man, stonde on thi feet, and Y schal speke with thee.

2 E com’egli mi parlava, lo spirito entrò in me, e mi fece rizzare in piedi; e io udii colui che mi parlava.

And the spirit entride in to me, after that he spak to me, and settide me on my feet. And Y herde oon spekynge to me,

3 Egli mi disse: “Figliuol d’uomo, io ti mando ai figliuoli d’Israele, a nazioni ribelli, che si son ribellate a me; essi e i loro padri si son rivoltati contro di me fino a questo giorno.

and seiynge, Sone of man, Y sende thee to the sones of Israel, to folkis apostatas, `ether goynge a bak fro feith, that yeden awei fro me; the fadris of hem braken my couenaunt til to this dai.

4 A questi figliuoli dalla faccia dura e dal cuore ostinato io ti mando, e tu dirai loro: Così parla il Signore, l’Eterno.

And the sones ben of hard face, and of vnchastisable herte, to whiche Y sende thee. And thou schalt seie to hem, The Lord God seith these thingis;

5 E sia che t’ascoltino o non t’ascoltino giacché è una casa ribelle essi sapranno che v’è un profeta in mezzo a loro.

if perauenture nameli thei heren, and if perauenture thei resten, for it is an hous terrynge to wraththe. And thei schulen wite, that a profete is in the myddis of hem.

6 E tu, figliuol d’uomo, non aver paura di loro, né delle loro parole, giacché tu stai colle ortiche e colle spine, e abiti fra gli scorpioni; non aver paura delle loro parole, non ti sgomentare davanti a loro, poiché sono una casa ribelle.

Therfore thou, sone of man, drede not hem, nether drede thou the wordis of hem; for vnbileueful men and distrieris ben with thee, and thou dwellist with scorpiouns. Drede thou not the wordis of hem, and drede thou not the faces of hem, for it is an hous terrynge to wraththe.

7 Ma tu riferirai loro le mie parole, sia che t’ascoltino o non t’ascoltino, poiché sono ribelli.

Therfor thou schalt speke my wordis to hem, if perauenture thei heren, and resten, for thei ben terreris to wraththe.

8 E tu, figliuol d’uomo, ascolta ciò che ti dico; non esser ribelle com’è ribelle questa casa; apri la bocca, e mangia ciò che ti do”.

But thou, sone of man, here what euer thingis Y schal speke to thee; and nyle thou be a terrere to wraththe, as the hows of Israel is a terrere to wraththe. Opene thi mouth, and ete what euer thingis Y yyue to thee.

9 Io guardai, ed ecco una mano stava stesa verso di me, la quale teneva il rotolo d’un libro;

And Y siy, and lo! an hond was sent to me, in which a book was foldid togidere.

10 ed egli lo spiegò davanti a me; era scritto di dentro e di fuori, e conteneva delle lamentazioni, de’ gemiti e dei guai.

And he spredde abrood it bifor me, that was writun with ynne and with outforth. And lamentaciouns, and song, and wo, weren writun ther ynne.
