2 Cronache 8
1 Or avvenne che, passati i venti anni nei quali Salomone edificò la casa dell’Eterno e la sua propria casa,
And it was from [the] end of - twenty year[s] which he built Solomon [the] house of Yahweh and own house his.
2 egli ricostruì le città che Huram gli avea date, e vi fece abitare i figliuoli d’Israele.
And the cities which he had given Huram to Solomon he rebuilt Solomon them and he caused to dwell there [the] people of Israel.
3 E Salomone marciò contro Hamath-Tsoba e se ne impadronì.
And he went Solomon to Hamath Zobah and he prevailed over it.
4 E ricostruì Tadmor nella parte deserta del paese, e tutte le città di rifornimento in Hamath.
And he built Tadmor in the wilderness and all [the] cities of storage which he built in Hamath.
5 Ricostruì pure Beth-Horon superiore e Beth-Horon inferiore, città forti, munite di mura, di porte e di sbarre;
And he built Beth Horon upper and Beth Horon lower cities of fortification walls doors and bar[s].
6 riedificò Baalath e tutte le città di rifornimento che appartenevano al re, tutte le città per i suoi carri, le città per i suoi cavalieri, insomma tutto quello che gli piacque di costruire a Gerusalemme, al Libano e in tutto il paese del suo domino.
And Baalath and all [the] cities of storage which they belonged to Solomon and all [the] cities of chariotry and [the] cities of the horsemen and - all [the] desire of Solomon which he desired to build in Jerusalem and in Lebanon and in all [the] land of dominion his.
7 Di tutta la popolazione ch’era rimasta degli Hittei, degli Amorei, dei Ferezei, degli Hivvei e dei Gebusei, che non erano d’Israele,
All the people which remained of the Hittite[s] and the Amorite[s] and the Perizzite[s] and the Hivite[s] and the Jebusite[s] which not [were] from Israel they.
8 vale a dire dei loro discendenti ch’eran rimasti dopo di loro nel paese e che gl’Israeliti non aveano distrutti, Salomone fece tanti servi per le comandate; e tali son rimasti fino al dì d’oggi.
Some of descendants their who they remained after them in the land whom not they had destroyed them [the] people of Israel and he brought up them Solomon to forced labor until the day this.
9 Ma de’ figliuoli d’Israele Salomone non impiegò alcuno come servo per i suoi lavori; essi furono la sua gente di guerra, capi de’ suoi condottieri e comandanti dei suoi carri e dei suoi cavalieri.
And of [the] people of Israel whom not he made Solomon into slaves for work his for they [were] men of war and [the] commanders of officers his and [the] commanders of chariotry his and horsemen his.
10 I capi preposti al popolo dal re Salomone e incaricati di sorvegliarlo, erano in numero di duecentocinquanta.
And these [were] [the] commanders of (the overseers *Q(K)*) who [belonged] to the king Solomon fifty and two hundred who ruled over the people.
11 Or Salomone fece salire la figliuola di Faraone dalla città di Davide alla casa ch’egli le avea fatto costruire; perché disse: “La moglie mia non abiterà nella casa di Davide re d’Israele, perché i luoghi dov’è entrata l’arca dell’Eterno son santi”.
And [the] daughter of Pharaoh he brought up Solomon from [the] city of David to the house which he had built for her for he said not she will dwell a wife of me in [the] house of David [the] king of Israel for [are] holiness they [places] where it has come to them [the] ark of Yahweh.
12 Allora Salomone offrì degli olocausti all’Eterno sull’altare dell’Eterno, ch’egli avea costruito davanti al portico;
Then he offered up Solomon burnt offerings to Yahweh on [the] altar of Yahweh which he had built before the porch.
13 offriva quello che bisognava offrire, secondo l’ordine di Mosè, ogni giorno, nei sabati, nei noviluni, e nelle feste solenni, tre volte all’anno: alla festa degli azzimi, alla festa delle settimane e alla festa delle capanne.
And a matter of a day in a day to offer up according to [the] commandment of Moses for the sabbaths and for the new moons and for the appointed times three times in the year at [the] festival of the unleavened bread and at [the] festival of the weeks and at [the] festival of booths.
14 E stabilì nelle loro funzioni, come le avea regolate Davide suo padre, le classi dei sacerdoti, i Leviti nella loro incombenza di celebrare l’Eterno e fare il servizio in presenza de’ sacerdoti giorno per giorno, e i portinai, a ciascuna porta, secondo le loro classi; poiché così aveva ordinato Davide, l’uomo di Dio.
And he appointed according to [the] ordinance of David father his [the] divisions of the priests on service their and the Levites on duties their to praise and to serve before the priests to [the] matter of a day in day its and the gatekeepers by divisions their for a gate and a gate for [was] thus [the] commandment of David [the] man of God.
15 E non si deviò in nulla dagli ordini che il re avea dato circa i sacerdoti e i Leviti come pure relativamente ai tesori.
And not they turned aside [the] command of the king on the priests and the Levites to any matter and to the treasuries.
16 Così fu condotta tutta l’opera di Salomone dal giorno in cui fu fondata la casa dell’Eterno, fino a quando fu terminata. La casa dell’Eterno ebbe il suo perfetto compimento.
And it was arranged all [the] work of Solomon until the day of [the] foundation of [the] house of Yahweh and until was complete it [was] complete [the] house of Yahweh.
17 Allora Salomone partì per Etsion-Gheber e per Eloth, sulla riva del mare, nel paese di Edom.
Then he went Solomon to Ezion Geber and to Elath on [the] shore of the sea in [the] land of Edom.
18 E Huram, per mezzo della sua gente, gli mandò delle navi e degli uomini che conoscevano il mare; i quali andaron con la gente di Salomone ad Ofir, vi presero quattrocentocinquanta talenti d’oro, e li portarono al re Salomone.
And he sent to him Huram by [the] hand of servants his (ships *Q(k)*) and servants [who] knew [the] sea and they went with [the] servants of Solomon Ophir towards and they took from there four hundred and fifty talent[s] of gold and they brought [it] to the king Solomon.
