Salmi 130

1 Cantico di Maalot SIGNORE, io grido a te di luoghi profondi.

A Song of Ascents. Out of the depths I have cried to you, LORD.

2 Signore, ascolta il mio grido; Sieno le tue orecchie attente Alla voce delle mie supplicazioni.

Lord, hear my voice. Let your ears be attentive to the voice of my petitions.

3 Signore, se tu poni mente alle iniquità, Chi potrà durare, o Signore?

If you, LORD, kept a record of sins, Lord, who could stand?

4 Ma appo te [vi è] perdono, Acciocchè tu sii temuto.

But there is forgiveness with you, therefore you are feared.

5 Io ho aspettato il Signore; l'anima mia [l]'ha aspettato, Ed io ho sperato nella sua parola.

I wait for the LORD. My soul waits. I hope in his word.

6 L'anima mia riguarda al Signore, Più che le guardie [non riguardano] alla mattina, Stando a guardar [quando verrà] la mattina.

My soul longs for the Lord more than watchmen long for the morning, more than watchmen for the morning.

7 Aspetti Israele il Signore; Perciocchè appo il Signore [vi è] benignità, E molta redenzione.

Israel, hope in the LORD, for there is loving kindness with the LORD. Abundant redemption is with him.

8 Ed egli riscatterà Israele Di tutte le sue iniquità.

He will redeem Israel from all their sins.
