Proverbi 13
1 Il figliuol savio [ascolta] l'ammaestramento di suo padre; Ma lo schernitore non ascolta riprensione.
A son wise [the] discipline of a father and a mocker not he listens to a rebuke.
2 L'uomo mangerà del bene del frutto delle sue labbra; Ma l'anima degli scellerati [mangerà del frutto di] violenza.
From [the] fruit of [the] mouth of a person he eats good thing[s] and [the] appetite of treacherous [people] [is] violence.
3 Chi guarda la sua bocca preserva l'anima sua; [Ma] ruina [avverrà] a chi apre disordinatamente le sue labbra.
[one who] guards Mouth his [is] protecting life his [one who] opens lips his ruin [belongs] to him.
4 L'anima del pigro appetisce, e non [ha] nulla; Ma l'anima de' diligenti sarà ingrassata.
[is] coveting And nothing appetite his a sluggard and [the] appetite of diligent [people] it will be made fat.
5 Il giusto odia la parola bugiarda; Ma l'empio si rende puzzolente ed infame.
A word of falsehood he hates a righteous [person] and a wicked [person] he acts odiously and he may act shamefully.
6 La giustizia guarda colui che [è] intiero di via; Ma l'empietà sovverte il peccatore.
Righteousness it preserves integrity of way and wickedness it subverts sin.
7 Vi è tale che si fa ricco, e non [ha] nulla; Tale [altresì] che si fa povero, ed ha di gran facoltà.
There [is one who] enriches himself and there not [is] anything [one who] impoverishes himself and wealth great.
8 Le ricchezze dell'uomo [sono] il riscatto della sua vita; Ma il povero non ode alcuna minaccia.
[the] ransom of [the] life of A person [is] wealth his and a poor [person] not he hears a threat.
9 La luce de' giusti sarà lieta; Ma la lampana degli empi sarà spenta.
[the] light of Righteous [people] it rejoices and [the] lamp of wicked [people] it is extinguished.
10 Per orgoglio non si produce altro che contese; Ma la sapienza [è] con quelli che si consigliano.
Only with pride it gives contention and [is] with [those who] receive advice wisdom.
11 Le ricchezze [procedenti] da vanità scemeranno; Ma chi raduna con la mano [le] accrescerà.
Wealth from vanity it will become small and [one who] gathers on hand he will increase.
12 La speranza prolungata fa languire il cuore; Ma il desiderio adempiuto [è] un albero di vita.
Hope deferred [is] making sick [the] heart and [is] a tree of life a desire [which] comes.
13 Chi sprezza la parola andrà in perdizione; Ma chi riverisce il comandamento riceverà retribuzione.
[one who] despises A word he will be pledged to it and [one] fearing a commandment he he will be rewarded.
14 L'insegnamento di un savio [è] una fonte di vita, Per ritrarsi da' lacci della morte.
[the] instruction of A wise [person] [is] a fountain of life to turn aside from [the] snares of death.
15 Buon senno reca grazia; Ma il procedere de' perfidi [è] duro.
Insight good it gives favor and [the] way of treacherous [people] [is] enduring.
16 L' [uomo] avveduto fa ogni cosa con conoscimento; Ma il pazzo spande follia.
Every sensible [person] he acts with knowledge and a fool he spreads out foolishness.
17 Il messo malvagio caderà in male; Ma l'ambasciator fedele reca sanità.
A messenger wicked he falls in trouble and an envoy of faithfulness [is] healing.
18 Povertà ed ignominia [avverranno] a chi schifa la correzione; Ma chi osserva la riprensione sarà onorato.
Poverty and shame [one who] ignores discipline and [one who] keeps correction he is honored.
19 Il desiderio adempiuto è cosa soave all'anima; Ed agli stolti [è] cosa abbominevole lo stornarsi dal male.
A desire done (is pleasing *LAH(b)*) to a person and [is] an abomination of fools to turn aside from evil.
20 Chi va co' savi diventerà savio; Ma il compagno degli stolti diventerà malvagio.
([one who] walks *Q(K)*) With wise [people] (he will become wise *Q(K)*) and [one who] associates with fools he will be harmed.
21 Il male perseguita i peccatori; Ma [Iddio] renderà il bene a' giusti.
Sinners it pursues calamity and righteous [people] it rewards good.
22 L'uomo da bene lascerà la [sua] eredità a' figliuoli de' figliuoli; Ma le facoltà del peccatore [son] riserbate al giusto.
A good [person] he leaves an inheritance to children of children and [is] stored up for the righteous [the] wealth of a sinner.
23 Il campo lavorato de' poveri [produce] abbondanza di cibo; Ma vi è tale che è consumato per mancamento di buon governo.
Abundance of food [the] unplowed ground of poor [people] and there [is what] is swept away in not justice.
24 Chi risparmia la sua verga odia il suo figliuolo; Ma chi l'ama gli procura correzione per tempo.
[one who] restrains Rod his [is] hating son his and [one who] loves him he seeks early him discipline.
25 Il giusto mangerà a sazietà dell'anima sua; Ma il ventre degli empi avrà mancamento.
A righteous [person] [is] eating to [the] satiety of appetite his and [the] belly of wicked [people] it is lacking.
