1 POI la seconda sorte fu tratta per Simeone, per la tribù de' figliuoli di Simeone, secondo le lor nazioni; e la loro eredità fu per mezzo l'eredità dei figliuoli di Giuda.
And the second lot came out, for Simeon, for the tribe of the sons of Simeon, by their families, —and their inheritance was in the midst of the inheritance of the sons of Judah.
2 Ed ebbero nella loro eredità Beer-seba, e Seba e Molada; e Hasar-sual,
And they had for their inheritance, —Beer-sheba or Sheba, and Moladah,
3 e Bala, ed Esem; ed Eltolad, e Betul,
and Hazar-shual, and Balah, and Ezem,
4 e Horma; e Siclag,
and Eltolad and Bethul, and Hormah,
5 e Bet-marcabot, e Hasar-susa;
and Ziklag and Beth-marcaboth, and Hazar-susah,
6 e Bet-lebaot, e Saruhem; tredici città, con le lor villate;
and Beth-lebaoth, and Sharuhen, —thirteen cities, with their villages:
7 [poi] Ain, e Rimmon, ed Eter, e Asan; quattro città, con le lor villate;
Ain, Rimmon, and Ether and Ashan, —four cities, with their villages,
8 e tutte le villate ch'[erano] d'intorno a queste città, fino a Baalat-beer, [che è] Rama meridionale. Questa [fu] l'eredità della tribù de' figliuoli di Simeone, secondo le lor nazioni.
and all the villages that were round about these cities, as far as Baalath-beer, Ramah of the South. This, is the inheritance of the tribe of the sons of Simeon, by their families:
9 L'eredità de' figliuoli di Simeone [fu tolta] della parte de' figliuoli di Giuda; perciocchè la parte de' figliuoli di Giuda era troppo grande per loro; perciò i figliuoli di Simeone ebbero la loro eredità per mezzo l'eredità di essi.
Out of the portion of the sons of Judah, is the inheritance of the sons of Simeon, —for it came to pass that what was allotted to the sons of Judah, was too much for them, therefore did the sons of Simeon receive an inheritance in the midst of their inheritance.
10 POI la terza sorte fu tratta per li figliuoli di Zabulon, secondo le lor nazioni; e il confine della loro eredità fu infino a Sarid.
Then came up the third lot, for the sons of Zebulun, by their families, —and the boundary of their inheritance was as far as Sarid.
11 E il lor confine saliva verso il mare, fino a Mareala; e si scontrava in Dabbeset, e giungeva al torrente, che [è] dirincontro a Iocneam.
And their boundary goeth up westward, even towards Maralah, and toucheth Dabbesheth, —and reacheth unto the ravine that faceth Jokneam;
12 E da Sarid si volgeva verso il Levante, a' confini di Chislot-tabor; e si stendeva verso Dabrat, e saliva in Iafia;
and turneth back from Sarid, eastward, toward the rising of the sun, upon the boundary of Chisloth-tabor, —and goeth out unto Daberath, and ascendeth Japhia;
13 e di là passava verso il Levante in Ghitta-hefer, [e] Itta-casin; poi, girando verso Nea, si stendeva fino a Rimmon;
and, from thence, it passed along in front on the east, towards Gath-hepher, towards Eth-kazin, —and goeth out at Rimmon which turneth about towards Neah;
14 poi quel confine si volgeva dal Settentrione verso Hannaton, e faceva capo alla valle d'Iftael;
and the boundary goeth round it, on the north to Hannathon, —and so the extensions thereof are the valley of Iphtah-el;
15 e [comprendeva] Cattat, e Nahalal, e Simron, e Ideala, e Betlehem; dodici città, con le lor villate.
and Kattath and Nahalal, and Shimron, and Idalah and Beth-lehem, —twelve cities, with their villages.
16 Questa [fu] l'eredità de' figliuoli di Zabulon, secondo le lor nazioni, [cioè: ] queste città, con le lor villate.
This, is the inheritance of the sons of Zebulun, by their families, —these cities, with their villages.
17 LA quarta sorte fu tratta per Issacar, per li figliuoli d'Issacar, secondo le lor nazioni.
For Issachar, came out the fourth lot, —for the sons of Issachar, by their families.
18 E della lor contrada [fu] Izreel, e Chesullot, e Sunem;
And their boundary was, —Jezreel and Chesulloth, and Shunem,
19 e Hafaraim, e Sion, e Anaharat;
and Hapharaim and Shion, and Anaharath,
20 e Rabbit, e Chision, ed Ebes;
and Rabbith and Kishion, and Ebez,
21 e Remet, ed Ed-gannim, ed En-hadda, e Bet-passes.
and Remeth, and En-gannim, and Enhaddah, and Beth-pazzez;
22 E il lor confine si scontrava in Tabor, e in Sahasim, e in Bet-semes; e faceva capo al Giordano: [e v'erano] sedici città, con le lor villate.
and the boundary toucheth Tabor and Shahazumah, and Beth-shemesh, and so the extensions of their boundary are to the Jordan, —sixteen cities, with their villages.
23 Questa [fu] l'eredità della tribù de' figliuoli d'Issacar, secondo le lor nazioni, [cioè: ] queste città, con le lor villate.
This, is the inheritance of the tribe of the sons of Issachar, by their families, —the cities, with their villages.
24 POI la quinta sorte fu tratta per la tribù de' figliuoli di Aser, secondo le lor nazioni.
Then came out the fifth lot, for the tribe of the sons of Asher, by their families.
25 E della lor contrada fu Helcat, e Hali, e Beten,
And their boundary was, —Helkath and Hali, and Beten and Achshaph,
26 e Acsaf; e Alammelec, e Amead, e Miseal; e il [lor confine] si scontrava in Carmel, verso il mare e in Sihor-libnat.
and Allam-melech and Amad, and Mishal, —and it toucheth Carmel to the west, and Shihor-libnath;
27 Poi ritornava verso il Levante in Bet-dagon, e si scontrava in Zabulon, e nella valle d'Iftael, verso il Settentrione, e [in] Bet-emec, e [in] Neiel, e faceva capo a Cabul, dalla [man] sinistra;
and it turneth toward sun-rise—to Beth-dagon, and toucheth Zebulun and the valley of Iphtah-el northward, and Beth-emek, and Neiel; and goeth out unto Cabul, on the left,
28 e [comprendeva] Ebron, e Rehob, e Hammon, e Cana, fino a Sidon, la gran [città].
and Ebron and Rehob, and Hammon and Kanah, —as far as Zidon the populous;
29 Poi questo confine si volgeva verso Rama infino a Tiro, città forte; e di là si rivolgeva verso Hosa, e faceva capo al mare, dalla costa di Aczib;
and the boundary turneth to Ramah, and as far as the city of the fortress of Tyre, —then the boundary turneth to Hosah, and so the extensions thereof are, on the west, from Hebel to Achzib;
30 e [comprendeva] Umma, e Afec, e Rehob; ventidue città, con le lor villate.
Ummah also and Aphek, and Rehob, —twenty-two cities, with their villages,
31 Questa [fu] l'eredità della tribù de' figliuoli di Aser, secondo le lor nazioni, [cioè: ] queste città con le lor villate.
This, is the inheritance of the tribe of the sons of Asher, by their families, —these cities, with their villages.
32 LA sesta sorte fu tratta per li figliuoli di Neftali, secondo le lor nazioni.
For the sons of Naphtali, came out the sixth lot, —for the sons of Naphtali, by their families.
33 E il lor confine fu da Helef, [e] da Allon fino in Saanannim; e [da] Adaminecheb, e Iabneel, fino a Laccum; e faceva capo al Giordano.
And their boundary was from Heleph, from the terebinth of Bezaannim, and Adami-nekeb, and Jabneel, as far as Lakkum; and so the extensions thereof were to the Jordan;
34 E questo confine si volgeva dall'Occidente verso Asnot-tabor, e di là procedeva fino a Huccoc; e dal Mezzodì si scontrava in Zabulon, e dall'Occidente in Aser; e da Giuda il Giordano [era] dal Levante.
and the boundary turneth westward, to Aznoth-tabor, and goeth out from thence, toward Hukkok, —and toucheth Zebulun on the south, and, Asher, it toucheth on the west, and Judah, at the Jordan towards sunrise.
35 E le città forti [erano] Siddim, e Ser, e Hammat, e Raccat, e Chinneret; e Adama, e Rama, e Hasor;
And, the fortified cities, are, —Ziddim, Zer, and Hammath, Rakkath and Chinnereth,
36 e Chedes, ed Edrei,
and Adamah and Ramah, and Hazor,
37 ed En-hasor; e Ireon, e Migda-el,
and Kedesh and Edrei, and En-hazor,
38 e Horem, e Bet-anat, e Bet-semes; diciannove città, con le lor villate.
and Iron and Migdal-el, Horem and Beth-anath, and Beth-shemesh, —nineteen cities, with their villages.
39 Questa [fu] l'eredità della tribù de' figliuoli di Neftali, secondo le lor nazioni, [cioè: ] queste città, con le lor villate.
This, is the inheritance of the tribe of the sons of Naphtali, by their families, —the cities, with their villages.
40 LA settima sorte fu tratta per la tribù de' figliuoli di Dan, secondo le lor nazioni.
And, for the tribe of the sons of Dan, by their families, came out the seventh lot.
41 E della contrada della loro eredità fu Sorea, ed Estaol, e Irsemes;
And the boundary of their inheritance was, —Zorah and Eshtaol, and Ir-shemesh,
42 e Saalabbim, e Aialon, e Itla; ed Elon,
and Shaalabbin and Aijalon, and Ithlah,
43 e Timnata, ed Ecron;
and Elon and Timnah, and Ekron,
44 ed Elteche, e Ghibbeton, e Baalat;
and Eltekeh and Gibbethon, and Baalath,
45 e Iud, e Bene-berac, e Gat-rimmon;
and Jehud and Beneberak, and Gath-rimmon,
46 e Meiarcon, e Raccon, con la contrada [che è] dirimpetto a Iafo.
and Me-jarkon, and Rakkon, —with the boundary over against Joppa.
47 Ora, a' figliuoli di Dan scaddero i confini troppo piccoli per loro; e però salirono, e combatterono Lesem, e la presero, e la misero a fil di spada, e la possedettero, e abitarono in essa, e le posero nome Dan, del nome di Dan, lor padre.
And, when the boundary of the sons of Dan went out beyond these, then went up the sons of Dan and fought against Leshem, and captured it, and smote it with the edge of the sword, and took possession thereof, and dwelt therein, and they called Leshem—Dan, after the name of Dan their father,
48 Questa [fu] l'eredità della tribù de' figliuoli di Dan, secondo le lor nazioni, [cioè: ] queste città, con le lor villate.
This, is the inheritance of the tribe of the sons of Dan, by their families, —these cities, with their villages.
49 ORA, dopo che i figliuoli d'Israele ebber finito di prender la possessione del paese, secondo i suoi confini, diedero eredità a Giosuè, figliuolo di Nun, per mezzo loro.
When they had made an end of distributing the land by the boundaries thereof, then gave the sons of Israel an inheritance unto Joshua son of Nun, in their midst:
50 Secondo il comandamento del Signore, gli diedero la città ch'egli chiese, [cioè: ] Timnat-sera, nel monte di Efraim; ed egli riedificò la città, e abitò in essa.
at the bidding of Yahweh, gave they unto him the city which he asked, even Timnath-serah, in the hill country of Ephraim, —and he built the city and dwelt therein.
51 Queste [sono] le eredità, le quali il Sacerdote Eleazaro, e Giosuè, figliuolo di Nun, e i capi delle [nazioni] paterne delle tribù de' figliuoli d'Israele, spartirono a sorte, in Silo, davanti al Signore, all'entrata del Tabernacolo della convenenza; e [così] finirono di spartire il paese.
These, are the inheritances which Eleazar the priest and Joshua son of Nun and the ancestral heads distributed for inheritance to the tribes of the sons of Israel, by lot, in Shiloh, before Yahweh, at the entrance of the tent of meeting, —so they made an end of apportioning the land.
