Geremia 9
1 Oh! fosse pur la mia testa acqua, e l'occhio mio una fonte di lagrime! io piangerei giorno e notte gli uccisi della figliuola del mio popolo.
Who? will he give head my [was] water and eye my [was] a fountain of tear[s] so I may bewail by day and night [those] slain of [the] daughter of people my.
2 Oh! avessi io pure un alberghetto da viandanti nel deserto! io lascerei il mio popolo, e me ne andrei via da loro; perciocchè essi tutti [sono] adulteri, una raunanza di disleali.
Who? will he give me in the wilderness a lodging place of travelers and I will leave people my and I will go from with them for all of them [are] adulterers an assembly of treacherous [people].
3 E scoccano falsità dalla lor lingua, [che è] l'arco loro; e non si fortificano in verità nella terra; anzi procedono di male in male, e non mi conoscono, dice il Signore.
And they have bent tongue their bow of their falsehood and not to faithfulness they are strong in the land for from evil to evil - they have gone out and me not they know [the] utterance of Yahweh.
4 Guardatevi ciascuno dal suo compagno, e non vi fidate in alcun fratello; perciocchè ogni fratello non fa altro che usar frodi, ed ogni compagno va sparlando.
Each from neighbor his take heed and on any brother may not you rely for every brother certainly he cheats and every neighbor a slanderer he goes about.
5 Ed ogni uomo gabba il suo compagno, e non parlano verità; hanno ammaestrata la lor lingua a parlar menzogna, si stancano a far male.
And each neighbor his they deceive and truth not they speak they have taught tongue their to speak falsehood to iniquire they are weary.
6 La tua dimora [è] in mezzo di frodi; per frode ricusano di conoscermi, dice il Signore.
Dwelling you in among deceit on deceit they have refused to know me [the] utterance of Yahweh.
7 Perciò, così ha detto il Signor degli eserciti: Ecco, io li metterò al cimento, ed alla prova; perciocchè, come farei [altrimenti], per amor della figliuola del mio popolo?
Therefore thus he says Yahweh of hosts here I [am] about to refine them and I will test them for how? will I act because of [the] daughter of people my.
8 La lingua loro [è] una saetta tratta, parla frode; ciascuno con la sua bocca, parla di pace co'suoi prossimi; ma nel loro interiore pongono insidie.
[is] an arrow (Beaten *Q(K)*) tongue their deceit it speaks with mouth his peace with neighbor his someone speaks and in inner being his he sets ambush his.
9 Non farei io punizion di loro per queste cose? dice il Signore; non vendicherebbesi l'anima mia d'una cotal gente?
¿ On these [things] not will I visit them [the] utterance of Yahweh or? on a nation which [is] like this [one] not will it avenge itself self my.
10 Io prenderò a far pianto, e rammarichio per questi monti, e lamento per le mandre del deserto; perciocchè sono arse, e non vi passa [più] alcuno, e non [vi] si ode [più] la voce del bestiame; e gli uccelli del cielo, e le bestie se ne son fuggite, e sono andate via.
On the mountains I will take up weeping and wailing and on [the] pastures of [the] wilderness lamentation for they are left desolate because not anyone [who] passes through and not people hear [the] sound of livestock from [the] bird[s] of the heavens and unto animal[s] they have fled they have gone.
11 Ed io ridurrò Gerusalemme in monti [di ruine], in ricetto di sciacalli; e metterò le città di Giuda in desolazione, senza che alcuno abiti [più in esse].
And I will make Jerusalem into heaps of stones a habitation of jackals and [the] cities of Judah I will make a waste because not inhabitant.
12 Chi [è] l'uomo savio? sì, ponga mente a questo; e [chi è] colui, al quale la bocca del Signore abbia parlato? sì, annunzilo. Perchè è perita la terra, [ed] è stata desolata come un deserto, senza che alcuno [vi] passi [più]?
Who? [is] the person wise and he may understand this and whom it has spoken [the] mouth of Yahweh to him so he may declare it concerning what? has it been destroyed the land has it become desolate? like wilderness because not [one who] passes by.
13 Il Signore ha detto: Perciocchè han lasciata la mia Legge, che io avea lor proposta; e non hanno ascoltata la mia voce, e non son camminati secondo quella.
And he said Yahweh because have forsaken they law my which I set before them and not they have listened to voice my and not they have walked in it.
14 Anzi sono andati dietro alla durezza del cuor loro, e dietro a' Baali; il che i lor padri insegnarono loro.
And they have walked after [the] stubbornness of own heart their and after the Baals which they taught them ancestors their.
15 Perciò, così ha detto il Signor degli eserciti, l'Iddio d'Israele: Ecco, io ciberò questo popolo di assenzio, e l'abbevererò d'acqua di tosco.
Therefore thus he says Yahweh of hosts [the] God of Israel here I [am] about to feed them the people this wormwood and I will give to drink them water of poison.
16 E li dispergerò fra genti, le quali nè essi, nè i lor padri, non han conosciute; e manderò dietro a loro la spada, finchè io li abbia consumati.
And I will scatter them among the nations which not they knew they and ancestors their and I will send forth after them the sword until have made an end of I them.
17 Così ha detto il Signor degli eserciti: Considerate, e chiamate delle lamentatrici, [e fate] che vengano; e mandate per delle più avvedute, che vengano; ed affrettinsi, e prendano a fare un rammarichio di noi;
Thus he says Yahweh of hosts consider and summon the wailing [women] and they may come and to the skillful [women] send so they may come.
18 e struggansi i nostri occhi in lagrime, e le nostre palpebre stillino acqua;
And they may hasten and they may take up on us wailing so they may run down eyes our tear[s] and eyelids our they may flow water.
19 perciocchè una voce di lamento è stata unita da Sion: Come siamo stati distrutti? noi siamo grandemente confusi; perciocchè abbiam lasciato il paese, e le nostre stanze ci hanno scacciati.
For a sound of wailing it has been heard from Zion how! we have been devastated we have been put to shame exceedingly for we have left [the] land for people have cast down dwellings our.
20 Perciocchè, o donne, ascoltate la parola del Signore; e riceva il vostro orecchio la parola della sua bocca; ed insegnate dei rammarichii alle vostre figliuole, e de' lamenti, ciascuna alla sua compagna.
For hear O women [the] word of Yahweh so it may receive ear your [the] word of mouth his and teach daughters your a mourning song and every woman neighbor her a lamentation.
21 Perciocchè la morte è salita per le nostre finestre, è entrata ne' nostri palazzi, per isterminare i piccoli fanciulli d'in su le strade, [ed] i giovani d'in su le piazze.
For it has come up death in windows our it has come in fortresses our to cut off child[ren] from [the] street young men from [the] open places.
22 Parla: Così ha detto il Signore: I corpi morti degli uomini ancora giaceranno come letame su per la campagna, e come una manella di spighe, [lasciata] indietro dal mietitore, la quale niuno raccoglie.
Speak thus [the] utterance of Yahweh and it will fall [the] corpse[s] of people like dung on [the] surface of the field[s] and like cut grain from behind the reaper and there not [will be one who] gathers.
23 Così ha detto il Signore: Il savio non si glorii della sua saviezza, e il forte non si glorii della sua forza, e il ricco non si glorii delle sue ricchezze;
Thus - he says Yahweh may not he boast a wise [person] in wisdom his and may not he boast the mighty [person] in might his may not he boast a rich [person] in rich[es] his.
24 ma chi si gloria gloriisi di questo, ch'egli ha intendimento, e conosce me; perciocchè io [sono] il Signore, che fo benignità, giudicio, e giustizia in terra; perciocchè, queste cose gradisco, dice il Signore.
That except in this let him boast who [-ever] boasts he has insight and he knows me that I [am] Yahweh [who] does covenant loyalty justice and righteousness on the earth for in these things I delight [the] utterance of Yahweh.
25 Ecco, i giorni vengono, dice il Signore, che io farò punizione d'ogni circonciso che è incirconciso;
Here! days [are] coming [the] utterance of Yahweh and I will visit [judgment] on every [man] circumcised in a foreskin.
26 d'Egitto, e di Giuda, e di Edom, e de' figliuoli di Ammon, e di Moab, e di tutti quelli che si tondono i canti [delle tempie], i quali abitano nel deserto; perciocchè tutte queste genti sono incirconcise; tutta la casa d'Israele ancora è incirconcisa di cuore.
On Egypt and on Judah and on Edom and on [the] people of Ammon and on Moab and on all [those who] are cut off of [the] corner who dwell in the wilderness for all the nations [are] uncircumcised and all [the] house of Israel [are] uncircumcised of heart.
