Isaia 33
1 GUAI a [te] che predi, e non sei stato predato; e a [te], o disleale, che non sei stato trattato dislealmente! quando avrai finito di predare, sarai predato; quando avrai cessato di operar dislealmente, sarai trattato dislealmente.
Woe to! [the] destroyer and you not [have been] destroyed and [the] traitor and not people have dealt treacherously with him when finishing you destroying you will be destroyed when completing you to deal treacherously people will deal treacherously with you.
2 O Signore, abbi pietà di noi, noi ti abbiamo aspettato; sii il braccio di costoro per ogni mattina; ed anche la nostra salute al tempo della distretta.
O Yahweh show favor to us for you we have waited be strength their to the mornings also salvation our in a time of distress.
3 I popoli se ne son fuggiti per lo suon dello strepito; le genti sono state disperse per lo tuo innalzamento.
From [the] sound of tumult they flee peoples from arising your they scatter nations.
4 E la vostra preda sarà raccolta [come] si raccolgono i bruchi; ogli scorrerà per mezzo loro, come scorrono le locuste.
And it will be gathered plunder your gathering of locust[s] like [the] rushing of locusts [someone will be] rushing on it.
5 Il Signore [è] innalzato; perciocchè egli abita un luogo eccelso; egli empierà Sion di giudicio e di giustizia.
[is] exalted Yahweh for [he is] dwelling a high place he will fill Zion justice and righteousness.
6 E la fermezza de' tuoi tempi, [e] la forza delle [tue] liberazioni [sarà] sapienza, e scienza; il timor del Signore sarà il suo tesoro.
And he will be [the] steadiness of times your wealth of deliverance wisdom and knowledge [the] fear of Yahweh it [will be] treasure his.
7 Ecco, i loro araldi hanno gridato di fuori; i messi della pace hanno pianto amaramente.
There! valiant one their they have cried out [the] outside towards messengers of peace bitter they weep!
8 Le strade son deserte, i viandanti son cessati. Egli ha rotto il patto, ha disdegnata le città, non ha fatta alcuna stima degli uomini.
They have been made desolate highways he has ceased [one who] passes by of a path someone has broken a covenant someone has rejected cities not anyone has valued humankind.
9 La terra fa cordoglio, [e] languisce; il Libano è confuso, [e] tagliato; Saron è divenuto come un deserto; e Basan e Carmel sono stati scossi.
It has dried up it has languished [the] land it has displayed shame Lebanon it has withered it has become Sharon like desert plain and [is] shaking off Bashan and Carmel.
10 Ora mi leverò, dirà il Signore; ora m'innalzerò, ora sarò esaltato.
Now I will arise he says Yahweh now I will exalt myself now I will lift myself up.
11 Voi concepirete della pula, [e] partorirete della stoppia; la vostra ira [sarà] un fuoco [che] vi divorerà.
You will conceive dry grass you will give birth to stubble breath your [is] a fire [which] it will consume you.
12 E i popoli saranno [come] fornaci da calcina; saranno arsi col fuoco [come] spine tagliate.
And they will be peoples burnings of lime thornbushes cut down with fire they will be kindled.
13 Ascoltate, lontani, ciò che io ho fatto; e [voi], vicini, conoscete la mia forza.
Hear O distant [ones] [that] which I have done and know O near [ones] strength my.
14 I peccatori saranno spaventati in Sion, tremito occuperà gl'ipocriti, [e diranno: ] Chi di nio dimorerà col fuoco divorante? Chi di noi dimorerà con gli ardori eterni?
They are in dread in Zion sinners it has seized trembling godless [people] who? - will he sojourn of us a fire consuming who? will he sojourn of us hearths of perpetuity.
15 Colui che cammina in ogni giustizia, e parla cose diritte; che disdegna il guadagno di storsioni; che scuote le sue mani, per non prender presenti; che tura gli orecchi, per non udire omicidii; e chiude gli occhi, per non vedere il male;
[one who] walks Righteousness and [one who] speaks uprightness [one who] rejects unjust gain of extortion [one who] shakes out hands his from taking hold on bribe [one who] shuts ear his from hearing blood and [one who] shuts eyes his from looking on evil.
16 esso abiterà in luoghi eccelsi; le fortezze delle rocce [saranno] il suo alto ricetto; il suo pane gli [sarà] dato, la sua acqua non fallirà.
He high places he will dwell [will be] strongholds of cliffs refuge his food his [will be] given water his [will be] reliable.
17 Gli occhi tuoi mireranno il re nella sua bellezza, vedranno la terra lontana.
A king in beauty his they will see eyes your they will see a land of distances.
18 Il tuo cuore mediterà lo spavento, [e dirai: ] Dove [è] il commessario della rassegna? dove [è] il pagatore? dove [è] colui che tiene i registri delle torri?
Heart your it will meditate on terror where? [is one who] counted where? [is one who] weighed where? [is one who] counted the towers.
19 [Ma] tu non vedrai il popolo fiero, popolo di linguaggio oscuro, che non s'intende; di lingua balbettante, che non si comprende.
A people barbarous not you will see a people [too] unintelligible of lip for hearing stammering of tongue there not [is] understanding.
20 Riguarda Sion, città delle nostre feste solenni; gli occhi tuoi veggano Gerusalemme, stanza tranquilla, tabernacolo che non sarà giammai trasportato [altrove], i cui piuoli giammai non saranno rimossi, nè rotta alcuna delle sue funi;
See Zion [the] town of appointed feast our eyes your they will see Jerusalem a habitation undisturbed a tent [which] not anyone will pack up [which] not anyone will pull out tent pegs its to perpetuity and all ropes its not they will be torn apart.
21 anzi quivi sarà il Signore magnifico inverso noi; [quello sarà] un luogo di fiumi, di rivi larghi, al quale non potrà giunger nave da remo, nè grosso navilio passarvi.
That except there [will be] majestic Yahweh for us a place of rivers canals broad of both hands not it will go on it a ship of rowing and a ship majestic not it will pass along it.
22 Perciocchè il Signore [è] il nostro Giudice, il Signore [è] il nostro Legislatore, il Signore [è] il nostro Re; egli ci salverà.
For Yahweh [is] judge our Yahweh [is] commander our Yahweh [is] king our he he will deliver us.
23 Le tue corde son rallentate; esse non potranno tener fermamente diritto l'albero della lor nave, nè spiegar la vela; allora sarà spartita la preda di grandi spoglie; gli zoppi [stessi] prederanno la preda.
They are loose ropes your not they make firm [the] base of mast their not they have spread out [the] sail then it will be divided booty of plunder in abundance lame [people] they will take as spoil spoil.
24 E gli abitanti non diranno più: Io sono infermo; il popolo che abiterà in quella [sarà un popolo], al quale l'iniquità sarà perdonata.
And not he will say an inhabitant I am sick the people which dwells in it [will be] forgiven of iniquity.
