Isaia 12

1 E tu dirai in quel giorno: Io ti celebrerò, o Signore; perciocchè tu sei stato adirato contro a me; [ma] l'ira tua si è racquetata, e tu mi hai consolato.

In that day you will say: “O LORD, I will praise You. Although You were angry with me, Your anger has turned away, and You have comforted me.

2 Ecco, Iddio [è] la mia salute; io avrò confidanza, e non sarò spaventato; perciocchè il Signore Iddio [è] la mia forza e il [mio] cantico; e mi è stato in salute.

Surely God is my salvation; I will trust and not be afraid. For the LORD GOD is my strength and my song, and He also has become my salvation.”

3 E voi attingerete, con allegrezza, le acque dalle fonti della salute;

With joy you will draw water from the springs of salvation,

4 e direte in quel giorno: Celebrate il Signore, predicate il suo Nome, fate noti i suoi fatti fra i popoli, rammemorate che il suo Nome [è] eccelso.

and on that day you will say: “Give praise to the LORD; proclaim His name! Make His works known among the peoples; declare that His name is exalted.

5 Salmeggiate il Signore; perciocchè egli ha fatte cose eccelse; questo è conosciuto per tutta la terra.

Sing to the LORD, for He has done glorious things. Let this be known in all the earth.

6 Abitatrice di Sion, strilla d'allegrezza, e canta; perciocchè il Santo d'Israele [è] grande in mezzo di te.

Cry out and sing, O citizen of Zion, for great among you is the Holy One of Israel.”
