Ebrei 13
1 L'amor fraterno dimori [fra voi]. Non dimenticate l'ospitalità;
Let brotherly love continue.
2 perciocchè per essa alcuni albergarono già degli angeli, senza saperlo.
Be not forgetful to entertain strangers; for thereby some have entertained angels unawares.
3 Ricordatevi de' prigioni, come essendo [lor] compagni di prigione; di quelli che sono afflitti, come essendo ancora voi nel corpo.
Remember those in bonds, as bound with them; those in distress, as being yourselves also in the body.
4 Il matrimonio e il letto immacolato [sia] onorevole fra tutti; ma Iddio giudicherà i fornicatori e gli adulteri.
Let marriage be honored in all respects, and the bed be undefiled; but whoremongers and adulterers God will judge.
5 [Sieno] i costumi [vostri] senza avarizia, essendo contenti delle cose presenti; perciocchè egli stesso ha detto: Io non ti lascerò, e non ti abbandonerò.
Let your disposition be without covetousness, and be content with what ye have; for he hath said, “I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee;”
6 Talchè possiam dire in confidanza: Il Signore è il mio aiuto; ed io non temerò ciò che mi può far l'uomo.
so that we boldly say, “The Lord is my helper, and I will not fear; what shall man do to me?”
7 Ricordatevi de' vostri conduttori, i quali vi hanno annunziata la parola di Dio; la cui fede imitate, considerando la fine della loro condotta.
Remember your leaders, who spoke to you the word of God; and considering well the end of their manner of life, imitate their faith.
Jesus Christ is yesterday and to-day the same, and for ever. (aiōn g165)
9 Non siate trasportati qua e là per varie e strane dottrine; perciocchè egli [è] bene che il cuor sia stabilito per grazia, non per vivande; dalle quali non han ricevuto alcun giovamento coloro che sono andati dietro [ad esse].
Be not carried aside with various and strange teachings; for it is good that the heart be established with grace, not with meats, in which those who walked were not profited.
10 Noi abbiamo un altare, del qual non hanno podestà di mangiar coloro che servono al tabernacolo.
We have an altar, of which they cannot eat who serve the tabernacle.
11 Perciocchè i corpi degli animali, il cui sangue è portato dal sommo sacerdote dentro al santuario per lo peccato, son arsi fuori del campo.
For the bodies of those beasts whose blood is brought into the sanctuary by the high-priest are burned without the camp.
12 Perciò ancora Gesù, acciocchè santificasse il popolo per lo suo proprio sangue, ha sofferto fuor della porta.
Wherefore Jesus also, that he might sanctify the people by his own blood, suffered without the gate.
13 Usciamo adunque a lui fuor del campo, portando il suo vituperio.
Let us then go forth to him without the camp, bearing his reproach;
14 Perciocchè noi non abbiam qui una città stabile, anzi ricerchiamo la futura.
for here we have no abiding city, but are seeking that which is to come.
15 Per lui adunque offeriamo del continuo a Dio sacrificii di lode, cioè: il frutto delle labbra confessanti il suo nome.
Through him therefore let us offer up a sacrifice of praise to God continually, that is, the fruit of lips giving thanks to his name.
16 E non dimenticate la beneficenza, e di far parte [agli altri dei vostri beni]; poichè per tali sacrificii si rende [servigio] grato a Dio.
But works of kindness and liberality forget not; for with such sacrifices God is well pleased.
17 Ubbidite a' vostri conduttori, e sottomettetevi [loro]; perchè essi vegliano per le anime vostre, come avendone a render ragione; acciocchè facciano questo con allegrezza, e non sospirando; perciocchè quello non vi [sarebbe] d'alcun utile.
Obey your leaders, and submit yourselves to them; for they keep watch in behalf of your souls, as those who must give an account; that they may do this with joy, and not with grief; for this is not for your advantage.
18 Pregate per noi; perciocchè noi ci confidiamo d'aver buona coscienza, desiderando di condurci onestamente in ogni cosa.
Pray for us; for we are persuaded that we have a good conscience, desiring in all things to conduct ourselves well;
19 E vie più vi prego di far questo, acciocchè più presto io vi sia restituito.
but I the more earnestly entreat you to do this, that I may be restored to you the sooner.
20 OR l'Iddio della pace, che ha tratto da' morti il Signor nostro Gesù Cristo, il gran Pastor delle pecore, per il sangue del patto eterno, (aiōnios g166)
Now may the God of peace, who brought up from the dead the great Shepherd of the sheep through the blood of an everlasting covenant, even our Lord Jesus, (aiōnios g166)
21 vi renda compiuti in ogni buona opera, per far la sua volontà, operando in voi ciò ch'è grato nel suo cospetto, per Gesù Cristo; al qual [sia] la gloria ne' secoli de' secoli. Amen. (aiōn g165)
make you perfect in every good work, to do his will, doing in you that which is well-pleasing in his sight, through Jesus Christ; to whom be the glory for ever. Amen. (aiōn g165)
22 Ora, fratelli, comportate, vi prego, il ragionamento dell'esortazione; poichè io vi ho scritto brevemente.
But I beseech you, brethren, bear with the word of my exhortation; for I have written to you in few words.
23 Sappiate che il fratel Timoteo è liberato; col quale, se viene tosto, vi vedrò.
Know that the brother Timothy hath been set at liberty, with whom, if he come shortly, I will see you.
24 Salutate tutti i vostri conduttori, e tutti i santi. Quei d'Italia vi salutano.
Salute all your leaders, and all the saints. Those from Italy salute you.
25 La grazia [sia] con tutti voi. Amen.
Grace be with you all. Amen.
