Esodo 40
1 E IL Signore parlò a Mosè, dicendo:
And YHWH speaks to Moses, saying,
2 Nel primo giorno del primo mese rizza la Tenda del Tabernacolo della convenenza.
“On the first day of the month, in the first month, you raise up the Dwelling Place of the Tent of Meeting,
3 E mettivi dentro l'Arca della Testimonianza, e tendi la Cortina davanti all'Arca.
and have set the Ark of the Testimony [in] there, and have covered over the Ark with the veil,
4 Poi portavi [dentro] la Tavola, e ordina ciò che deve essere ordinato in quella; portavi parimente il Candelliere, e accendi le sue lampane.
and have brought in the table, and set its arrangement in order, and have brought in the lampstand, and caused its lamps to go up.
5 E metti l'Altare d'oro per li profumi davanti all'Arca della Testimonianza; metti eziandio il Tappeto all'entrata del Tabernacolo.
And you have put the golden altar for incense before the Ark of the Testimony, and have put the covering of the opening to the Dwelling Place,
6 E metti l'Altare degli olocausti davanti all'entrata della Tenda del Tabernacolo della convenenza.
and have put the altar of the burnt-offering before the opening of the Dwelling Place of the Tent of Meeting,
7 E metti la Conca fra il Tabernacolo della convenenza, e l'Altare; e mettivi dentro dell'acqua.
and have put the laver between the Tent of Meeting and the altar, and have put water [in] there.
8 Disponi ancora il Cortile d'intorno, e metti il Tappeto all'entrata del Cortile.
And you have set the court all around, and have placed the covering of the gate of the court,
9 Poi piglia l'olio dell'Unzione, e ungine il Tabernacolo, e tutto quello chi vi [sarà] dentro; e consacralo, con tutti i suoi arredi; e sarà cosa santa.
and have taken the anointing oil, and anointed the Dwelling Place, and all that [is] in it, and hallowed it, and all its vessels, and it has been holy;
10 Ungi parimente l'Altar degli olocausti, e tutti i suoi strumenti, e consacra l'Altare; e sarà cosa santissima.
and you have anointed the altar of the burnt-offering, and all its vessels, and sanctified the altar, and the altar has been most holy;
11 Ungi ancora la Conca, e il suo piè, e consacrala.
and you have anointed the laver and its base, and sanctified it.
12 Poi fa' accostare Aaronne e i suoi figliuoli, all'entrata del Tabernacolo della convenenza; e lavali con acqua.
And you have brought Aaron and his sons near to the opening of the Tent of Meeting, and have bathed them with water;
13 E fai vestire ad Aaronne i vestimenti sacri, e ungilo, e consacralo; e così amministrimi egli il sacerdozio.
and you have clothed Aaron with the holy garments, and anointed him, and sanctified him, and he has acted as priest to Me.
14 Fa' eziandio accostare i suoi figliuoli, e fa' lor vestir le toniche.
And you bring his sons near, and have clothed them with coats,
15 E ungili, come tu avrai unto il padre loro; e così amministrinmi il sacerdozio; e la loro Unzione sarà loro per sacerdozio perpetuo, per le lor generazioni.
and anointed them as you have anointed their father, and they have acted as priests to Me, and their anointing has been to them for a continuous priesthood throughout their generations.”
16 E Mosè fece interamente come il Signore gli avea comandato.
And Moses does according to all that YHWH has commanded him; so he has done.
17 E nell'anno secondo, nel primo [giorno] del primo mese, fu rizzato il Tabernacolo.
And it comes to pass, in the first month, in the second year, on the first of the month, the Dwelling Place has been raised up;
18 Mosè adunque rizzò il Tabernacolo; e, posati i suoi piedistalli, dispose le sue assi, e vi mise le sbarre, e rizzò le sue colonne.
and Moses raises up the Dwelling Place, and sets its sockets, and places its boards, and places its bars, and raises its pillars,
19 E stese la Tenda sopra il Tabernacolo, e pose la coverta della Tenda sopra essa al disopra; come il Signore gli avea comandato.
and spreads the tent over the Dwelling Place, and puts the covering of the tent on it above, as YHWH has commanded Moses.
20 Poi prese la Testimonianza, e la pose dentro all'Arca; e mise le stanghe all'Arca; e posò il Coperchio in su l'Arca, disopra.
And he takes and puts the Testimony into the Ark, and sets the poles on the Ark, and puts the propitiatory covering on the Ark above;
21 E portò l'Arca dentro al Tabernacolo, e mise la Cortina che s'avea da tender davanti, e [la] tese davanti all'Arca della Testimonianza; come il Signore gli avea comandato.
and brings the Ark into the Dwelling Place, and places the veil of the covering, and covers over the Ark of the Testimony, as YHWH has commanded Moses.
22 Poi mise la Tavola nel Tabernacolo della convenenza, dal lato settentrionale del Tabernacolo, difuori della Cortina;
And he puts the table in the Tent of Meeting, on the side of the Dwelling Place northward, at the outside of the veil,
23 e mise per ordine sopra essa i pani che si aveano da tenere in ordine davanti al Signore; come il Signore gli avea comandato.
and sets in order the arrangement of bread on it, before YHWH, as YHWH has commanded Moses.
24 Poi mise il Candelliere nel Tabernacolo della convenenza, dirimpetto alla Tavola, dal lato australe del Tabernacolo;
And he puts the lampstand in the Tent of Meeting, opposite the table, on the side of the Dwelling Place southward,
25 e accese le lampane davanti al Signore; come il Signore gli avea comandato.
and causes the lamps to go up before YHWH, as YHWH has commanded Moses.
26 Poi mise l'Altar d'oro nel Tabernacolo della convenenza, davanti alla Cortina;
And he sets the golden altar in the Tent of Meeting, before the veil,
27 e bruciò sopra esso il profumo degli aromati; come il Signore gli avea comandato.
and makes incense on it—spice-incense—as YHWH has commanded Moses.
28 Poi mise il Tappeto all'entrata del Tabernacolo.
And he sets the covering [at] the opening of the Dwelling Place,
29 E pose l'Altar degli olocausti all'entrata della Tenda del Tabernacolo della convenenza; e offerse sopra esso l'olocausto, e l'offerta; come il Signore gli avea comandato.
and he has set the altar of the burnt-offering [at] the opening of the Dwelling Place of the Tent of Meeting, and causes the burnt-offering to go up on it, and the present, as YHWH has commanded Moses.
30 E pose la Conca fra il Tabernacolo della convenenza, e l'Altare; e vi mise dentro dell'acqua, da lavare.
And he puts the laver between the Tent of Meeting and the altar, and puts water [in] there for washing,
31 E Mosè, ed Aaronne, e i suoi figliuoli, se ne lavarono le mani ed i piedi.
and Moses and Aaron and his sons have washed their hands and their feet at the same;
32 Quando entravano nel Tabernacolo della convenenza, e quando si accostavano all'Altare, si lavavano; come il Signore avea comandato a Mosè.
in their going into the Tent of Meeting, and in their drawing near to the altar, they wash, as YHWH has commanded Moses.
33 Poi rizzò il Cortile d'intorno al Tabernacolo, e all'Altare; e mise il Tappeto all'entrata del Cortile. Così Mosì fornì l'opera.
And he raises up the court all around the Dwelling Place, and around the altar, and places the covering of the gate of the court; and Moses completes the work.
34 E la nuvola coperse il Tabernacolo della convenenza, e la gloria del Signore empiè il Tabernacolo.
And the cloud covers the Tent of Meeting, and the glory of YHWH has filled the Dwelling Place;
35 E Mosè non potè entrare nel Tabernacolo della convenenza; conciossiachè la nuvola si fosse posata sopra esso, e la gloria del Signore empiesse il Tabernacolo.
and Moses has not been able to go into the Tent of Meeting, for the cloud has dwelt on it, and the glory of YHWH has filled the Dwelling Place.
36 Or, quando la nuvola s'alzava d'in sul Tabernacolo, i figliuoli d'Israele si partivano; [ciò avvenne] in tutte le lor mosse.
And in the going up of the cloud from off the Dwelling Place the sons of Israel journey in all their journeys;
37 E, quando la nuvola non si alzava, non si partivano, fino al giorno ch'ella s'alzava.
and if the cloud does not go up then they do not journey, until the day of its going up.
38 Perciocchè la nuvola del Signore [era] di giorno sopra il Tabernacolo, e un fuoco [v'era] di notte, alla vista di tutta la casa d'Israele, in tutti i lor viaggi.
For the cloud of YHWH [is] on the Dwelling Place by day, and fire is in it by night, before the eyes of all the house of Israel in all their journeys.
