1 Samuele 6
1 ESSENDO adunque l'Arca del Signore stata sette mesi nel territorio de' Filistei,
And it was [the] ark of Yahweh in [the] region of [the] Philistines seven months.
2 i Filistei chiamarono i sacerdoti e gl'indovini, dicendo: Che faremo noi dell'Arca del Signore? Dichiarateci in qual maniera noi la dobbiamo rimandare al suo luogo.
And they summoned [the] Philistines the priests and the diviners saying what? will we do to [the] ark of Yahweh make known to us how? will we send it to own place its.
3 Ed essi dissero: Se voi rimandate l'Arca dell'Iddio d'Israele, non rimandatela a vuoto; anzi del tutto pagategli un'[offerta per la] colpa; allora voi sarete guariti, e voi saprete per qual cagione la sua mano non si sarà rimossa da voi.
And they said if [you are] about to send away [the] ark of [the] God of Israel may not you send away it empty for certainly you will send back to him a guilt offering then you will be healed and it will be known by you why? not does it turn aside hand his from you.
4 Ed essi dissero: Quale [offerta per la] colpa gli pagheremo noi? E quelli dissero: Cinque morici d'oro, e cinque topi d'oro, secondo il numero de' principati de' Filistei; perciocchè una stessa piaga [è stata] sopra tutti i Filistei, e sopra i vostri principi.
And they said what? [is] the guilt offering which we will send back to him and they said [the] number of [the] rulers of [the] Philistines five (tumors of *Q(K)*) gold and five mice of gold for a plague one [belongs] to all of them and to rulers your.
5 Fate adunque delle forme delle vostre morici e delle forme de' vostri topi, che guastano il paese; e date gloria all'Iddio d'Israele; forse allevierà egli la sua mano d'in su voi, e d'in su i vostri dii, e d'in sul vostro paese.
And you will make images of (tumors your *Q(K)*) and images of mice your which are ruining the land and you will give to [the] God of Israel honor perhaps he will lighten hand his from with you and from on gods your and from on land your.
6 E perchè indurereste voi il cuor vostro, come gli Egizj e Faraone indurarono il cuor loro? dopo ch'egli li ebbe scherniti, non rimandarono essi gl'[Israeliti], ed essi se ne andarono?
And why? will you harden heart your just as they hardened Egypt and Pharaoh heart their ¿ not just when he dealt wantonly with them and they sent away them and they went.
7 Ora dunque, fate un carro nuovo, e prendetelo; prendetevi eziandio due vacche lattanti, sopra cui giammai non sia stato posto giogo; poi legate queste vacche al carro, e rimenate i lor figli a casa, indietro da esse;
And therefore take and make a cart new one and two cows nursing which not it has gone up on them a yoke and you will harness the cows on the cart and you will take back young ones their from after them the house towards.
8 e prendete l'Arca del Signore, e ponetela sopra il carro; e mettete allato ad essa in una cassetta que' lavori d'oro, che voi gli pagherete [per offerta per la] colpa; e rimandatela, e vadasene.
And you will take [the] ark of Yahweh and you will put it into the cart and - [the] articles of gold which you have sent back to him a guilt offering you will put in the box from side its and you will send away it and it will go.
9 E state a guardare; se ella sale verso Bet-semes, traendo alle contrade di esso, egli ci avrà fatto questo gran male; se no, noi sapremo che la sua mano non ci ha toccati, [anzi] che è stato un caso [che] ci è avvenuto.
And you will see if [the] way of own territory its it will go up Beth Shemesh he he has done to us the harm great this and if not and we will know that not hand his it touched us chance it it happened to us.
10 Quegli uomini adunque fecero così, e presero due vacche lattanti, e le legarono al carro, e rinchiusero i lor figli in casa.
And they did the men thus and they took two cows nursing and they harnessed them on the cart and young ones their they shut up in the house.
11 Poi posero l'Arca del Signore sopra il carro, con la cassetta, e co' topi d'oro, e con le forme delle lor morici.
And they put [the] ark of Yahweh into the cart and the box and [the] mice of gold and [the] images of tumors their.
12 E le vacche si dirizzarono alla via che trae verso Bet-semes, seguitando una medesima strada, e andavano mugghiando; e non si rivolsero nè a destra nè a sinistra; e i principi de' Filistei andarono loro dietro fino a' confini di Bet-semes.
And they were straight the cows in the road on [the] road of Beth Shemesh on a highway one they went continuously and lowed and not they turned aside right [hand] and left [hand] and [the] rulers of [the] Philistines [were] going after them to [the] border of Beth Shemesh.
13 Or [que' di] Bet-semes segavano la ricolta de' grani nella valle; e, alzati gli occhi, videro l'Arca, e si rallegrarono di veder[la].
And Beth Shemesh [were] harvesting [the] harvest of wheat in the valley and they lifted up eyes their and they saw the ark and they rejoiced to see [it].
14 E il carro, giunto al campo di Giosuè da Bet-semes, si fermò quivi. Or quivi [era] una gran pietra; e coloro spezzarono il legname del carro, e offersero le vacche in olocausto al Signore.
And the cart it came to [the] field of Joshua [the] Beth Shemeshite and it stopped there and [was] there a stone large and they split [the] wood of the cart and the cows they offered up a burnt offering to Yahweh.
15 Or i Leviti aveano posta giù l'Arca del Signore, e la cassetta ch'[era] appresso, nella quale [erano] que' lavori d'oro, e l'aveano messa sopra quella gran pietra; e in quel giorno que' di Bet-semes offersero olocausti, e sacrificarono sacrificii al Signore.
And the Levites they brought down - [the] ark of Yahweh and the box which [was] with it which [were] in it [the] articles of gold and they put [them] to the stone large and [the] people of Beth Shemesh they offered up burnt offerings and they sacrificed sacrifices on the day that to Yahweh.
16 E i cinque principati dei Filistei, avendo [ciò] veduto, se ne ritornarono quell'istesso giorno in Ecron.
And five [the] rulers of [the] Philistines they saw and they went back Ekron on the day that.
17 Or questo [è il numero del]le morici d'oro, le quali i Filistei pagarono al Signore [per offerta per la] colpa; per Asdod una, per Gaza una, per Ascalon una, per Gat una, per Ecron una.
And these [are] [the] tumors of gold which they sent back [the] Philistines a guilt offering to Yahweh for Ashdod one for Gaza one for Ashkelon one for Gath one for Ekron one.
18 E i topi d'oro [furono secondo il] numero di tutte le città de' Filistei, [divise] in cinque principati, così città murate, come villate senza mura, fino ad Abel la gran [pietra], sopra la quale posarono l'Arca del Signore, [la quale è] infino ad oggi nel campo di Giosuè da Bet-semes.
And [the] mice of gold [the] number of all [the] cities of [the] Philistines of [the] five the rulers from a city of fortification and unto village[s] of the hamlet-dweller[s] and to - Abel the great which they set down on it [the] ark of Yahweh until the day this in [the] field of Joshua [the] Beth Shemeshite.
19 Or il Signore percosse [alquanti] di que' di Bet-semes, perchè aveano riguardato dentro all'Arca del Signore; percosse ancora del popolo cinquantamila e settanta uomini. E il popolo fece cordoglio, perciocchè il Signore l'avea percosso di una gran piaga.
And he struck down among [the] people of Beth Shemesh for they had looked in [the] ark of Yahweh and he struck down among the people seventy man fifty thousand man and they mourned the people for he had struck Yahweh the people a blow (great *LB(ah)*)
20 E que' di Bet-semes dissero: Chi potrà durare davanti al Signore, a questo Iddio Santo? e a cui salirà egli d'appresso a noi?
and they said [the] people of Beth Shemesh who? is he able to stand before Yahweh the God holy this and to whom? will it go up from with us.
21 Mandarono adunque de' messi agli abitanti di Chiriat-iearim, a dire: I Filistei hanno ricondotta l'Arca del Signore; scendete, e menatela da voi.
And they sent messengers to [the] inhabitants of Kiriath Jearim saying they have brought back [the] Philistines [the] ark of Yahweh come down take up it to you.
