1 Corinzi 12

1 ORA, intorno a' [doni] spirituali, fratelli, io non voglio che siate in ignoranza.

BUT concerning spirituals, my brethren, I wish you to know

2 Voi sapete che eravate Gentili, trasportati dietro agl'idoli mutoli, secondo che eravate menati.

that you were Heathens, and unto idols which have no voice you were led without discernment.

3 Perciò, io vi fo assapere che niuno, parlando per lo Spirito di Dio, dice Gesù[essere] anatema; e che altresì niuno può dire Gesù [esser il] Signore, se non per lo Spirito Santo.

I therefore make known to you, that there is no man who by the Spirit of Aloha speaketh, and saith that Jeshu is accursed; and no man also can say that Jeshu is THE LORD unless by the Spirit of Holiness.

4 Or vi sono diversità di doni; ma non vi è se non un medesimo Spirito.

Now, there are distributions of gifts, but one is the Spirit;

5 Vi sono ancora diversità di ministeri; ma non vi è se non un medesimo Signore.

and there are distributions of ministries, but one is the Lord;

6 Vi son parimente diversità d'operazioni; ma non vi è se non un medesimo Iddio, il quale opera tutte le cose in tutti.

and distributions of powers, but one is Aloha, who worketh all in every man.

7 Ora a ciascuno è data la manifestazion dello Spirito per ciò che è utile e spediente.

But to each is given (such) a revelation of the Spirit as is profitable to him.

8 Poichè ad uno è data, per lo Spirito, parola di Sapienza; e ad un altro, secondo il medesimo Spirito, parola di scienza;

To one is given by the Spirit the word of wisdom, but to another the word of knowledge by the same Spirit;

9 e ad un altro fede, nel medesimo Spirito; e ad un altro doni delle guarigioni, per lo medesimo Spirito; e ad un altro l'operar potenti operazioni; e ad un altro profezia; e ad un altro discernere gli spiriti;

and to another, faith by the same Spirit; and to another, the gifts of healing by the same Spirit;

10 e ad un altro diversità di lingue; e ad un altro l'interpretazion delle lingue.

but to another, powers; to another, prophecy; to another, the discernment of spirits; but to another, kinds of tongues; and to another, the interpretation of tongues.

11 Or tutte queste cose opera quell'uno e medesimo Spirito, distribuendo particolarmente [i suoi doni] a ciascuno, come egli vuole.

But all these one Spirit effecteth, and divideth unto every man as he willeth.

12 PERCIOCCHÈ, siccome il corpo è un [solo corpo], ed ha molte membra, e tutte le membra di quel corpo, [che è] un [solo], benchè sieno molte, sono uno stesso corpo, così ancora [è] Cristo.

For, as the body is one, and in it are many members, but all the members of the body, though many, are one body; so also is the Meshiha.

13 Poichè in uno stesso Spirito noi tutti siamo stati battezzati, per [essere] un medesimo corpo; e Giudei, e Greci; e servi, e franchi; e tutti siamo stati abbeverati in un medesimo Spirito.

For we all by one Spirit into one body are baptized; whether Jihudoyee or Aramoyee; whether servants or sons of freedom; and all of us have imbibed one Spirit.

14 Perciocchè ancora il corpo non è un [sol] membro, ma molti.

For the body also is not one member, but many.

15 Se il piè dice: Perciocchè io non son mano, io non son del corpo, non è egli però del corpo?

For if the foot should say, Because I am not the hand, I am not of the body itself, would it therefore not be of the body itself?

16 E se l'orecchio dice: Perciocchè io non son occhio, io non son del corpo; non è egli però del corpo?

And if the ear should say, Because I am not the eye, I am not of the body itself, would it therefore not be of the body itself?

17 Se tutto il corpo [fosse] occhio, ove [sarebbe] l'udito? se tutto [fosse] udito, ove [sarebbe] l'odorato?

For if the whole body were the eye, where would be the hearing? And if the whole were hearing, where would be the smelling?

18 Ma ora Iddio ha posto ciascun de' membri nel corpo, siccome egli ha voluto.

But now hath Aloha set all the members severally in the body as he willed.

19 Che se tutte le [membra] fossero un [sol] membro, dove [sarebbe] il corpo?

But if all were one member, where would be the body?

20 Ma ora, ben [vi son] molte membra, ma [vi è] un [sol] corpo.

But now the members are many, but the body one.

21 E l'occhio non può dire alla mano: Io non ho bisogno di te; nè parimente il capo [dire] a' piedi: Io non ho bisogno di voi.

The eye is not able to say to the hand, Thou art not needful to me; nor is the hand able to say to the feet, You are not needful to me.

22 Anzi, molto più necessarie [che le altre] son le membra del corpo, che paiono essere le più deboli.

But those members which are considered to be feeble, of them is the more especial need;

23 Ed a quelle, che noi stimiamo esser le mano onorevoli del corpo, mettiamo attorno più onore, e le [parti] nostre meno oneste son più onestamente adorne.

and those which we consider contemptible in the body, to these the more we increase the honour; and on those which are of shame we bestow the greater decoration.

24 Ma le [parti] nostre oneste non [ne] hanno bisogno; anzi Iddio ha temperato il corpo, dando maggiore onore alla [parte] che [ne] avea mancamento;

But those members that are honourable in us have no need of adornment: but Aloha hath contempered the body, and given the more honour to the member which is inconsiderable;

25 acciocchè non vi sia dissensione nel corpo, anzi le membra abbiano tutte una medesima cura le une per le altre.

that there should be no divisions in the body, but all the members equally one of the other should have care:

26 E se pure un membro patisce, tutte le membra patiscono con lui; e se un membro è onorato, tutte le membra ne gioiscono insieme.

as that when one member shall be diseased, all may suffer; and if one member be glorified, all the members may be glorified.

27 Or voi siete il corpo di Cristo, e membra di [esso], ciascuno per parte sua.

But you are the body of the Meshiha, and members in your place.

28 E Iddio ne ha costituiti nella chiesa alcuni, prima apostoli, secondamente profeti, terzamente dottori; poi [ha ordinate] le potenti operazioni; poi i doni delle guarigioni, i sussidii, i governi, le diversità delle lingue.

FOR Aloha hath placed in the church, first, apostles; after them, prophets; after them, teachers; after them, workers of miracles; after them, gifts of healing, and helpers, and leaders, and kinds of tongues.

29 Tutti [sono eglino] apostoli? tutti [sono eglino] profeti? tutti [sono eglino] dottori?

Are all apostles? Are all prophets? Are all teachers? Are all workers of miracles?

30 Tutti [hanno eglino il dono del]le potenti operazioni? tutti hanno eglino i doni delle guarigioni? parlano tutti [diverse] lingue? tutti sono eglino interpreti?

Have all the gifts of healing? Do all speak with tongues, or do all interpret?

31 Or appetite, come a gara, i doni migliori; e ancora io ve [ne] mostrerò una via eccellentissima.

But if you are emulous of great gifts, I will yet show you a way more admirable.
