Noe: the sons of Noe, Sem, Cham, Japheth.
5 I figliuoli di Iafet[furono] Gomer, e Magog, e Madai, e Iavan, e Tubal, e Mesec, e Tiras.
The sons of Japheth, Gamer, Magog, Madaim, Jovan, Helisa, Thobel, Mosoch, and Thiras.
6 Ed i figliuoli di Gomer [furono] Aschenaz, e Rifat, e Togarma.
And the sons of Gamer, Aschanaz, and Riphath, and Thorgama.
7 Ed i figliuoli di Iavan [furono] Elisa e Tarsis, Chittim e Dodanim.
And the sons of Jovan, Helisa, and Tharsis, the Citians, and Rhodians.
8 Ed i figliuoli di Cam[furono] Cus, e Misraim, e Put, e Canaan.
And the sons of Cham, Chus, and Mesraim, Phud and Chanaan.
9 Ed i figliuoli di Cus [furono] Seba, ed Havila, e Sabta, e Raema, e Sabteca. Ed i figliuoli di Raema [furono] Seba e Dedan.
And the sons of Chus, Saba, and Evila, and Sabatha, and Regma, and Sebethaca: and the sons of Regma, Saba, and Dadan.
10 Or Cus generò Nimrod. Esso fu il primo che si fece potente nella terra.
And Chus begot Nebrod: he began to be a mighty hunter on the earth.
11 E Misraim generò i Ludei, e gli Anamei, e i Lehabei, ed i Naftuhei;
12 ed i Patrusei, ed i Casluhei (da' quali sono usciti i Filistei), ed i Caftorei.
13 E Canaan generò Sidon, suo primogenito, ed Het,
14 ed i Gebusei, e gli Amorrei, ed i Ghirgasei,
15 e gli Hivvei, e gli Archei, ed i Sinei,
16 e gli Arvadei, e i Semarei, e gli Hamatei.
17 I figliuoli di Sem[furono] Elam, ed Assur, ed Arfacsad, e Lud, ed Aram, ed Us, ed Hul, e Gheter, e Mesec.
The sons of Sem, Aelam, and Assur,
18 Ed Arfacsad generò Sela, e Sela generò Eber.
and Arphaxad, Sala,
19 E ad Eber nacquero due figliuoli; il nome dell'uno [fu] Peleg; perciocchè al suo tempo la terra fu divisa; e il nome del suo fratello [fu] Ioctan.
20 E Ioctan generò Almodad e Selef, ed Asarmavet, e Iera,
21 ed Hadoram, ed Uzal, e Dicla,
22 ed Ebal, ed Abimael, e Seba, ed Ofir, ed Havila, e Iobab.
23 Tutti costoro [furono] figliuoli di Ioctan.
24 SEM, Arfacsad, Sela,
25 Eber, Peleg, Reu, Serug,
Eber, Pheleg, Ragan,
26 Nahor, Tare,
Seruch, Nachor, Tharrha,
27 Abramo, [che] è Abrahamo.
Abraam.
28 I figliuoli di Abrahamo [furono] Isacco, ed Ismaele.
And the sons of Abraam, Isaac, and Ismael.
29 Queste [sono] le lor generazioni. Il primogenito d'Israele [fu] Nebaiot; poi [ebbe] Chedar, ed Adbeel, e Mibsam,
And these [are] their generations: the first-born of Ismael, Nabaeoth, and Kedar, Nabdeel, Massam,
30 e Misma, e Duma, e Massa, ed Hadad, e Tema,
Masma, Iduma, Masse, Chondan, Thaeman,
31 Ietur, e Nafis, e Chedma. Questi furono i figliuoli d'Ismaele.
Jettur, Naphes, Kedma: these [are] the sons of Ismael.
32 Ora, quant'è a' figliuoli di Chetura, concubina di Abrahamo, essa partorì Zimran, e Iocsan, e Medan, e Madian, ed Isbac, e Sua. Ed i figliuoli di Iocsan [furono] Seba, e Dadan.
And the sons of Chettura Abraam's concubine: —and she bore him Zembram, Jexan, Madiam, Madam, Sobac, Soe: and the sons of Jexan; Daedan, and Sabai;
33 Ed i figliuoli di Madian [furono] Efa, ed Efer, ed Hanoc, ed Abida, ed Eldaa. Tutti questi [furono] figliuoli di Chetura.
and the sons of Madiam; Gephar, and Opher, and Enoch, and Abida, and Eldada; all these [were] the sons of Chettura.
34 Ora Abrahamo generò Isacco. Ed i figliuoli d'Isacco [furono] Esaù ed Israele.
And Abraam begot Isaac: and the sons of Isaac [were] Jacob, and Esau.
35 I figliuoli di Esaù[furono] Elifaz, e Reuel, e Ieus, e Ialem, e Cora.
The sons of Esau, Eliphaz, and Raguel, and Jeul, and Jeglom, and Core.
36 I figliuoli di Elifaz [furono] Teman, ed Omar, e Sefi, e Gatem, e Chenaz, e Timna, ed Amalec.
The sons of Eliphaz: Thaeman, and Omar, Sophar, and Gootham, and Kenez, and Thamna, and Amalec.
37 I figliuoli di Reuel [furono] Nahat, Zera, Samma, e Mizza.
And the sons of Raguel, Naches, Zare, Some, and Moze.
38 Ed i figliuoli di Seir[furono] Lotan, e Sobal, e Sibon, ed Ana, e Dison, ed Eser, e Disan.
The sons of Seir, Lotan, Sobal, Sebegon, Ana, Deson, Osar, and Disan.
39 Ed i figliuoli di Lotan [furono] Hori, ed Homam; e la sorella di Lotan [fu] Timna.
And the sons of Lotan, Chorri, and Aeman; and the sister of Lotan [was] Thamna.
40 I figliuoli di Sobal [furono] Alian, e Manahat, ed Ebal, e Sefi, ed Onam. Ed i figliuoli di Sibon [furono] Aia, ed Ana.
The sons of Sobal; Alon, Machanath, Taebel, Sophi, and Onan: and the sons of Sebegon; Aeth, and Sonan.
41 Il figliuolo di Ana [fu] Dison. Ed i figliuoli di Dison [furono] Hamran, ed Esban, ed Itran, e Cheran.
The sons of Sonan, Daeson: and the sons of Daeson; Emeron, and Asebon, and Jethram, and Charran.
42 I figliuoli di Eser [furono] Bilham, e Zaavan, [e] Iaacan. I figliuoli di Disan [furono] Us, ed Aran.
And the sons of Hosar, Balaam, and Zucam, and Acan: the sons of Disan, Os, and Aran.
43 Or questi [furono] i re, che regnarono nel paese di Edom, avanti che regnasse [alcun] re sopra i figliuoli d'Israele: Bela, figliuolo di Beor; e il nome della sua città [era] Dinhaba.
And these [are] their kings, Balac the son of Beor; and the name of his city [was] Dennaba.
44 Poi, morto Bela, Iobab, figliuolo di Zera, da Bosra, regnò in luogo suo.
And Balac died, and Jobab the son of Zara of Bosorrha reigned in his stead.
45 E, morto Iobab, Husam, del paese de' Temaniti, regnò in luogo suo.
And Jobab died, and Asom of the land of the Thaemanites reigned in his stead.
46 E, morto Husam, Hadad, figliuolo di Bedad, il quale percosse i Madianiti nel territorio di Moab, regnò in luogo suo; e il nome della sua città [era] Avit.
And Asom died, and Adad the son of Barad reigned in his stead, who smote Madiam in the plain of Moab: and the name of his city [was] Gethaim.
47 Poi, morto Hadad, Samla, da Masreca, regnò in luogo suo.
And Adad died, and Sebla of Masecca reigned in his stead.
48 E, morto Samla, Saul, da Rehobot del Fiume, regnò in luogo suo.
And Sebla died, and Saul of Rhoboth by the river reigned in his stead.
49 E, morto Saul, Baal-hanan, figliuolo di Acbor, regnò in luogo suo.
And Saul died, and Balaennor son of Achobor reigned in his stead.
50 E, morto Baal-hanan, Hadad regnò in luogo suo; e il nome della sua città [era] Pai; e il nome della sua moglie [era] Mehetabeel, figliuola di Matred, figliuola di Mezahab.
And Balaennor died, and Adad son of Barad reigned in his stead; and the name of his city [was] Phogor.
51 Poi, morto Hadad, vi furono de' duchi in Edom; il duca Timna, il duca Alia, il duca Ietet,
The princes of Edom: prince Thamna, prince Golada, prince Jether,
52 il duca Oholibama, il duca Ela, il duca Pinon,
prince Elibamas, prince Elas, prince Phinon,
53 il duca Chenaz, il duca Teman, il duca Mibsar,
prince Kenez, prince Thaeman, prince Babsar, prince Magediel,
54 il duca Magdiel, il duca Iram. Questi [furono] i duchi di Edom.
prince Zaphoin. These [are] the princes of Edom.
