1 Lodate il Signore nel suo santuario, lodatelo nel firmamento della sua potenza. Alleluia.

Hallelujah. Praise God in His sanctuary; praise Him in the firmament of His power.

2 Lodatelo per i suoi prodigi, lodatelo per la sua immensa grandezza.

Praise Him for His mighty acts; praise Him according to His abundant greatness.

3 Lodatelo con squilli di tromba, lodatelo con arpa e cetra;

Praise Him with the blast of the horn; praise Him with the psaltery and harp.

4 lodatelo con timpani e danze, lodatelo sulle corde e sui flauti.

Praise Him with the timbrel and dance; praise Him with stringed instruments and the pipe.

5 Lodatelo con cembali sonori, lodatelo con cembali squillanti;

Praise Him with the loud-sounding cymbals; praise Him with the clanging cymbals.

6 ogni vivente dia lode al Signore. Alleluia.

Let every thing that hath breath praise the LORD. Hallelujah.
