Salmi 130

1 Dal profondo a te grido, o Signore; Canto delle ascensioni.

A SONG OF THE ASCENTS. I have called You from the depths, YHWH.

2 Signore, ascolta la mia voce. Siano i tuoi orecchi attenti alla voce della mia preghiera.

Lord, listen to my voice, Your ears are attentive to the voice of my supplications.

3 Se consideri le colpe, Signore, Signore, chi potrà sussistere?

If You observe iniquities, Lord YAH, who stands?

4 Ma presso di te è il perdono: e avremo il tuo timore.

But forgiveness [is] with You, that You may be feared.

5 Io spero nel Signore, l'anima mia spera nella sua parola.

I hoped [for] YHWH—my soul has hoped, And I have waited for His word.

6 L'anima mia attende il Signore più che le sentinelle l'aurora.

My soul [is] for the Lord, More than those watching for morning, Watching for morning!

7 Israele attenda il Signore, perché presso il Signore è la misericordia e grande presso di lui la redenzione.

Israel waits on YHWH, For kindness [is] with YHWH, And redemption [is] abundant with Him.

8 Egli redimerà Israele da tutte le sue colpe.

And He redeems Israel from all his iniquities!
