Michea 5
1 Ora fatti incisioni, o figlia dell'orda, han posto l'assedio intorno a noi, con la verga percuotono sulla guancia il giudice d'Israele.

9 La tua mano si alzerà contro tutti i tuoi nemici, e tutti i tuoi avversari saranno sterminati.

10 In quel giorno - dice il Signore - distruggerò i tuoi cavalli in mezzo a te e manderò in rovina i tuoi carri;
“It will happen in that day”, says the LORD, “that I will cut off your horses from among you and will destroy your chariots.
11 distruggerò le città della tua terra e demolirò tutte le tue fortezze.
I will cut off the cities of your land and will tear down all your strongholds.
12 Ti strapperò di mano i sortilegi e non avrai più indovini.
I will destroy witchcraft from your hand. You shall have no soothsayers.
13 Distruggerò in mezzo a te le tue sculture e le tue stele, nè più ti prostrerai davanti a un'opera delle tue mani.
I will cut off your engraved images and your pillars from among you; and you shall no more worship the work of your hands.
14 Estirperò da te i tuoi pali sacri, distruggerò i tuoi idoli.
I will uproot your Asherah poles from among you; and I will destroy your cities.
15 Con ira e furore, farò vendetta delle genti, che non hanno voluto obbedire.
I will execute vengeance in anger and wrath on the nations that did not listen.”
