2 Cronache 9
1 La regina di Saba, sentita la fama di Salomone, venne a Gerusalemme per metterlo alla prova mediante enigmi. Arrivò con un corteo molto numeroso e con cammelli carichi di aromi, d'oro in grande quantità e di pietre preziose. Si presentò a Salomone e gli disse quanto aveva in mente.
And [the] queen of Sheba she heard [the] report of Solomon and she came to put to [the] test Solomon by difficult matters in Jerusalem with a retinue numerous very and camels carrying spices and gold to abundance and stone[s] precious and she came to Solomon and she spoke with him all that it was with heart her.
2 Salomone rispose a tutte le sue domande; nessuna risultò occulta per Salomone tanto da non poterle rispondere.
And he told to her Solomon all words her and not it was concealed a word from Solomon which not he told to her.
3 La regina di Saba, quando ebbe ammirato la sapienza di Salomone, la reggia che egli aveva costruito,
And she saw [the] queen of Sheba [the] wisdom of Solomon and the house which he had built.
4 i cibi della sua tavola, gli alloggi dei suoi servitori, l'attività dei suoi ministri e le loro divise, i suoi coppieri e le loro vesti, gli olocausti che egli offriva nel tempio, ne rimase incantata.
And [the] food of table his and [the] seating of servants his and [the] standing of servants his and clothes their and cup-bearers his and clothes their and upper room his which he went up [the] house of Yahweh and not it was still in her breath.
5 Quindi disse al re: «Era vero, dunque, quanto avevo sentito dire nel mio paese sul tuo conto e sulla tua sapienza.
And she said to the king [was] truth the word which I heard in own land my on words your and on wisdom your.
6 Io non avevo voluto credere a quanto si diceva finché non sono giunta qui e i miei occhi non hanno visto; ebbene non mi era stata riferita neppure una metà della grandezza della tua sapienza; tu superi la fama che avevo sentito su di te.
And not I believed words their until that I came and they saw eyes my and here! not it was told to me [the] half of [the] greatness of wisdom your you have added to the report which I heard.
7 Beati i tuoi uomini e beati questi tuoi ministri, che stanno sempre alla tua presenza e ascoltano la tua sapienza!
How blessed! [are] people your and how blessed! [are] servants your these who stand before you continually and [who] hear wisdom your.
8 Sia benedetto il Signore tuo Dio, che si è compiaciuto di te e ti ha costituito, sul suo trono, re per il Signore Dio tuo. Poiché il tuo Dio ama Israele e intende renderlo stabile per sempre, ti ha costituito suo re perché tu eserciti il diritto e la giustizia».
May he be Yahweh God your blessed who - he has delighted in you to put you on throne his to king for Yahweh God your because loves God your Israel to make stand it for ever and he has appointed you over them to king to do justice and righteousness.
9 Essa diede al re centoventi talenti d'oro, aromi in gran quantità e pietre preziose. Non ci furono mai tanti aromi come quelli che la regina di Saba diede al re Salomone.
And she gave to the king one hundred and twenty - talent[s] of gold and spices to abundance exceedingly and stone[s] precious and not it has been like the spice that which she gave [the] queen of Sheba to the king Solomon.
10 Gli uomini di Curam e quelli di Salomone, che caricavano oro da Ofir, portarono legno di sandalo e pietre preziose.
And also [the] servants of (Huram *Q(K)*) and [the] servants of Solomon who they brought gold from Ophir they brought wood of algum and stone[s] precious.
11 Con il legno di sandalo il re fece le scale del tempio e della reggia, cetre e arpe per i cantori; strumenti simili non erano mai stati visti nel paese di Giuda.
And he made the king [the] wood of the algum tracks for [the] house of Yahweh and for [the] house of the king and harps and lyres for the singers and not they had been seen like them before in [the] land of Judah.
12 Il re Salomone diede alla regina di Saba quanto ella aveva mostrato di gradire, oltre l'equivalente di quanto ella aveva portato al re. Ella poi tornò nel suo paese con i suoi uomini.
And the king Solomon he gave to [the] queen of Sheba all desire her which she asked besides [that] which she had brought to the king and she turned and she went to own land her she and servants her.
13 Il peso dell'oro che affluiva nelle casse di Salomone ogni anno era di seicentosessantasei talenti d'oro,
And it was [the] weight of the gold which it came to Solomon in a year one six hundred and sixty and six talents of gold.
14 senza contare quanto ne proveniva dai trafficanti e dai commercianti; tutti i re dell'Arabia e i governatori del paese portavano a Salomone oro e argento.
Apart from [the] men of the merchants and the traders [were] bringing and all [the] kings of Arabia and [the] governors of the land [were] bringing gold and silver to Solomon.
15 Il re Salomone fece duecento scudi grandi d'oro battuto, per ognuno dei quali adoperò seicento sicli d'oro,
And he made the king Solomon two hundred body shield[s] gold beaten six hundred gold beaten he put up on the body shield one.
16 e trecento scudi piccoli d'oro battuto, per ognuno dei quali adoperò trecento sicli d'oro. Il re li pose nel palazzo della foresta del Libano.
And three hundred shields gold beaten three hundred gold he put up on the shield one and he put them the king in [the] House of [the] Forest of Lebanon.
17 Il re fece un grande trono d'avorio, che rivestì d'oro puro.
And he made the king a throne of ivory great and he overlaid it gold pure.
18 Il trono aveva sei gradini e uno sgabello d'oro connessi fra loro. Ai due lati del sedile c'erano due bracci, vicino ai quali si ergevano due leoni.
And six steps [belonged] to the throne and a footstool in gold to the throne [were] attached and hands from this and from this [were] on [the] place of the sitting and two lions [were] standing beside the hands.
19 Dodici leoni si ergevano, di qua e di là, sui sei gradini; non ne esistevano di simili in nessun regno.
And two [plus] ten lions [were] standing there on [the] six the steps from this and from this not it had been made thus for any kingdom.
20 Tutto il vasellame per bere del re Salomone era d'oro; tutti gli arredi del palazzo della foresta del Libano erano d'oro fino; al tempo di Salomone l'argento non valeva nulla.
And all [the] vessels of [the] drink of the king Solomon [were] gold and all [the] utensils of [the] House of [the] Forest of Lebanon [were] gold pure gold not silver [was] esteemed in [the] days of Solomon to anything.
21 Difatti le navi del re andavano a Tarsìs, guidate dai marinai di Curam; ogni tre anni tornavano le navi di Tarsìs cariche d'oro, d'argento, di avorio, di scimmie e di babbuini.
For ships of the king [were] going Tarshish with [the] servants of Huram one [time] to three years they came - ships of Tarshish carrying gold and silver ivori and monkeys and apes.
22 Il re Salomone superò, per ricchezza e sapienza, tutti i re della terra.
And he became great the king Solomon more than all [the] kings of the earth to wealth and wisdom.
23 Tutti i re della terra desideravano avvicinare Salomone per ascoltare la sapienza che Dio gli aveva infusa.
And all [the] kings of the earth [were] seeking [the] face of Solomon to hear wisdom his which he had put God in heart his.
24 Ognuno di essi gli portava ogni anno il proprio tributo, oggetti d'oro e oggetti d'argento, vesti, armi, aromi, cavalli e muli.
And they [were] bringing everyone gift his articles of silver and articles of gold and garments weaponry and spices horses and mules [the] matter of a year in a year.
25 Salomone aveva quattromila stalle per i suoi cavalli e i suoi carri e dodicimila cavalli, distribuiti nelle città dei carri e presso il re in Gerusalemme.
And it belonged to Solomon four thousand stalls of horses and chariots and two [plus] ten thousand horsemen and he placed them in [the] cities of chariotry and with the king in Jerusalem.
26 Egli dominava su tutti i re, dal fiume fino alla regione dei Filistei e fino al confine dell'Egitto.
And he was ruling over all the kings from the river and to [the] land of [the] Philistines and to [the] border of Egypt.
27 Il re fece sì che in Gerusalemme l'argento fosse comune come i sassi, i cedri numerosi come i sicomòri nella Sefela.
And he made the king silver in Jerusalem like stones and cedars he made like the sycamores which [are] in the Shephelah for abundance.
28 Da Muzri e da tutti i paesi si importavano cavalli per Salomone.
And [were] brought out horses from Egypt for Solomon and from all the lands.
29 Le altre gesta di Salomone, dalle prime alle ultime, sono descritte negli atti del profeta Natan, nella profezia di Achia di Silo e nelle visioni del veggente Iedò riguardo a Geroboamo figlio di Nebàt.
And [the] rest of [the] matters of Solomon former and latter ¿ not [are] they written on [the] words of Nathan the prophet and on [the] prophecy of Ahijah the Shilonite and in [the] visions (Iddo *Q(K)*) the seer on Jeroboam [the] son of Nebat.
30 Salomone regnò in Gerusalemme su Israele quarant'anni.
And he reigned Solomon in Jerusalem over all Israel forty year[s].
31 Salomone si addormentò con i suoi padri; lo seppellirono nella città di Davide. Al suo posto divenne re suo figlio Roboamo.
And he lay down Solomon with ancestors his and people buried him in [the] city of David father his and he became king Rehoboam son his in place of him.
