1 Cronache 9
1 Tutti gli Israeliti furono registrati per genealogie e iscritti nel libro dei re di Israele e di Giuda; per le loro colpe furono deportati in Babilonia.
And all [those of] Israel have reckoned themselves by genealogy, and behold, they are written on the scroll of the kings of Israel and Judah—they were removed to Babylon for their trespass.
2 I primi abitanti che si erano ristabiliti nelle loro proprietà, nelle loro città, erano Israeliti, sacerdoti, leviti e oblati.
And the first inhabitants, who [are] in their possession, in their cities, of Israel, [are] the priests, the Levites, and the Nethinim.
3 In Gerusalemme abitavano figli di Giuda, di Beniamino, di Efraim e di Manàsse.
And those who dwelt in Jerusalem of the sons of Judah, and of the sons of Benjamin, and of the sons of Ephraim and Manasseh:
4 Figli di Giuda: Utai, figlio di Ammiud, figlio di Omri, figlio di Imri, figlio di Bani dei figli di Perez, figlio di Giuda.
Uthai son of Ammihud, son of Omri, son of Imri, son of Bani, of the sons of Perez, son of Judah.
5 Dei Siloniti: Asaia il primogenito e i suoi figli.
And of the Shilonite: Asaiah the firstborn, and his sons.
6 Dei figli di Zerach: Ieuèl e seicentonovanta suoi fratelli.
And of the sons of Zerah: Jeuel, and their brothers—six hundred and ninety.
7 Dei figli di Beniamino: Sallu figlio di Mesullàm, figlio di Odavia, figlio di Assenua,
And of the sons of Benjamin: Sallu son of Meshullam, son of Hodaviah, son of Hassenuah,
8 Ibnia, figlio di Ierocam, Ela, figlio di Uzzi, figlio di Micri, e Mesullàm, figlio di Sefatia, figlio di Reuel, figlio di Ibnia.
and Ibneiah son of Jeroham, and Elah son of Uzzi, son of Michri, and Meshullam son of Shephatiah, son of Reuel, son of Ibnijah.
9 I loro fratelli, secondo le loro genealogie, erano novecentocinquantasei; tutti costoro erano capi delle loro famiglie.
And their brothers, according to their generations, [are] nine hundred and fifty-six. All these [are] men, heads of fathers, according to the house of their fathers.
10 Dei sacerdoti: Iedaia, Ioarib, Iachin
And of the priests: Jedaiah, and Jehoiarib, and Jachin,
11 e Azaria, figlio di Chelkia, figlio di Mesullàm, figlio di Zadòk, figlio di Meraiòt, figlio di Achitùb, capo del tempio,
and Azariah son of Hilkiah, son of Meshullam, son of Zadok, son of Meraioth, son of Ahitub, leader in the house of God;
12 Adaia, figlio di Ierocam, figlio di Pascur, figlio di Malchia, e Maasai, figlio di Adièl, figlio di Iaczèra, figlio di Mesullàm, figlio di Mesillemìt, figlio di Immer.
and Adaiah son of Jeroham, son of Pashhur, son of Malchijah, and Maasai son of Adiel, son of Jahzerah, son of Meshullam, son of Meshillemith, son of Immer.
13 I loro fratelli, capi dei loro casati, erano millesettecentosessanta, uomini abili in ogni lavoro per il servizio del tempio.
And their brothers, heads of the house of their fathers, [are] one thousand and seven hundred and sixty, mighty in valor, for the work of the service of the house of God.
14 Dei Leviti: Semaia, figlio di Cassub, figlio di Azrikam, figlio di Casabià dei figli di Merari,
And of the Levites: Shemaiah son of Hashshub, son of Azrikam, son of Hashabiah, of the sons of Merari;
15 Bakbakar, Cheresh, Galal, Mattania, figlio di Mica, figlio di Zikri, figlio di Asaf,
and Bakbakkar, Heresh, and Galal, and Mattaniah son of Micah, son of Zichri, son of Asaph;
16 Abdia, figlio di Semaia, figlio di Galal, figlio di Idutun, e Berechia, figlio di Asa, figlio di Elkana, che abitava nei villaggi dei Netofatiti.
and Obadiah son of Shemariah, son of Galal, son of Jeduthun, and Berechiah, son of Asa, son of Elkanah, who is dwelling in the villages of the Netophathite.
17 Dei portieri: Sallùm, Akkub, Talmon, Achiman e i loro fratelli. Sallùm era il capo
And the gatekeepers [are] Shallum, and Akkub, and Talmon, and Ahiman, and their brothers—Shallum [is] the head;
18 e sta fino ad oggi alla porta del re a oriente. Costoro erano i portieri degli accampamenti dei figli di Levi:
and until now they [are] at the gate of the king eastward; they [are] the gatekeepers for the companies of the sons of Levi.
19 Sallùm figlio di Kore, figlio di Ebiasàf, figlio di Korach, e i suoi fratelli, i Korachiti, della casa di suo padre, attendevano al servizio liturgico; erano custodi della soglia della tenda; i loro padri custodivano l'ingresso nell'accampamento del Signore.
And Shallum son of Kore, son of Ebiasaph, son of Korah, and his brothers, of the house of his father, the Korahites, [are] over the work of the service, keepers of the thresholds of the tent, and their fathers [are] over the camp of YHWH, keepers of the entrance;
20 Pincas, figlio di Eleàzaro, prima era loro capo - il Signore sia con lui! -.
and Phinehas son of Eleazar has been leader over them formerly; YHWH [is] with him.
21 Zaccaria, figlio di Meselemia, custodiva la porta della tenda del convegno.
Zechariah son of Meshelemiah [is] gatekeeper at the opening of the Tent of Meeting.
22 Tutti costoro, scelti come custodi della soglia, erano duecentododici; erano iscritti nelle genealogie nei loro villaggi. Li avevano stabiliti nell'ufficio per la loro fedeltà Davide e il veggente Samuele.
All of those who are chosen for gatekeepers at the thresholds [are] two hundred and twelve; they [are] in their villages, by their genealogy; they whom David and Samuel the seer appointed in their office.
23 Essi e i loro figli avevano la responsabilità delle porte nel tempio, cioè nella casa della tenda.
And they and their sons [are] over the gates of the house of YHWH, even of the house of the tent, by watches.
24 C'erano portieri ai quattro lati: oriente, occidente, settentrione e meridione.
The gatekeepers are at [the] four sides: east, west, north, and south.
25 I loro fratelli, che abitavano nei loro villaggi, talvolta dovevano andare con loro per sette giorni.
And their brothers in their villages [are] to come in with these for seven days from time to time.
26 Poiché erano sempre in funzione, quei quattro capiportieri - essi erano leviti - controllavano le stanze e i tesori del tempio.
For the four chiefs of the gatekeepers in office, they are Levites, and they have been over the chambers, and over the treasuries of the house of God,
27 Alloggiavano intorno al tempio, perché a loro incombeva la sua custodia e la sua apertura ogni mattina.
and they lodge around the house of God, for the watch [is] on them, and they [are] over the opening, even morning by morning.
28 Di essi alcuni controllavano gli arredi liturgici, che contavano quando li portavano dentro e quando li riportavano fuori.
And [some] of them [are] over the vessels of service, for they bring them in by number, and by number they take them out.
29 Alcuni erano incaricati degli arredi, di tutti gli oggetti del santuario, della farina, del vino, dell'olio e degli aromi.
And [some] of them are appointed over the vessels, even over all the vessels of the holy place, and over the fine flour, and the wine, and the oil, and the frankincense, and the spices.
30 Alcuni figli dei sacerdoti preparavano le sostanze aromatiche per i profumi.
And [some] of the sons of the priests are mixing the mixture for spices.
31 Il levita Mattatia, primogenito di Sallùm il Korachita, per la sua fedeltà era incaricato di ciò che si preparava nei tegami.
And Mattithiah of the Levites (he [is] the firstborn to Shallum the Korahite), [is] in office over the work of the pans.
32 Tra i figli dei Keatiti, alcuni loro fratelli badavano ai pani dell'offerta da disporre ogni sabato.
And of the sons of the Kohathite, [some] of their brothers [are] over the bread of the arrangement, to prepare [it] Sabbath by Sabbath.
33 Questi erano i cantori, capi di casati levitici; liberi da altri compiti, abitavano nelle stanze del tempio, perché giorno e notte erano in attività.
And these who sing, heads of fathers of the Levites, in the chambers, [are] free, for [they are] over them in the work by day and by night.
34 Questi erano i capi delle famiglie levitiche secondo le loro genealogie; essi abitavano in Gerusalemme.
These heads of the fathers of the Levites [are] heads throughout their generations. These have dwelt in Jerusalem.
35 In Gàbaon abitavano il padre di Gàbaon, Ieiel, la cui moglie si chiamava Maaca.
And the father of Gibeon, Jehiel, has dwelt in Gibeon, and the name of his wife [is] Maachah;
36 Suo figlio primogenito era Abdon, quindi Zur, Kis, Baal, Ner, Nadàb,
and his son, the firstborn, [is] Abdon, and Zur, and Kish, and Ba‘al, and Ner, and Nadab,
37 Ghedor, Achio, Zaccaria e Miklòt.
and Gedor, and Ahio, and Zechariah, and Mikloth.
38 Miklòt generò Simeàm. Anch'essi abitavano in Gerusalemme con i fratelli, di fronte a loro.
And Mikloth begot Shimeam, and they have also dwelt opposite their brothers—with their brothers in Jerusalem.
39 Ner generò Kis; Kis generò Saul; Saul generò Giònata, Malchisùa, Abinadàb e Is-Bàal.
And Ner begot Kish, and Kish begot Saul, and Saul begot Jonathan, and Malchi-Shua, and Abinadab, and Esh-Ba‘al.
40 Figlio di Giònata: Merib-Bàal; Merib-Bàal generò Mica.
And a son of Jonathan [is] Merib-Ba‘al, and Merib-Ba‘al begot Micah.
41 Figli di Mica: Piton, Melek e Tacrea.
And sons of Micah: Pithon, and Melech, and Tahrea,
42 Acaz generò Iaara; Iaara generò Alèmet, Azmàvet e Zimrì; Zimrì generò Moza.
and Ahaz—he begot Jaarah, and Jaarah begot Alemeth, and Azmaveth, and Zimri, and Zimri begot Moza,
43 Moza generò Binea, di cui fu figlio Refaia, di cui fu figlio Eleasa, di cui fu figlio Azel.
and Moza begot Binea, and Rephaiah his son, Eleasah his son, Azel his son.
44 Azel ebbe sei figli, che si chiamavano Azrikam, Bocru, Ismaele, Searia, Abdia e Canan; questi erano figli di Azel.
And to Azel [are] six sons, and these [are] their names: Azrikam, Bocheru, and Ishmael, and Sheariah, and Obadiah, and Hanan; these [are] sons of Azel.
