< Luka 9 >

1 Akaitanga ao ni kumi na abili palung'wi, akaapa uhumi nuukulu mugulya amintunga ihi nukuaguna indwala.
AND Jeshu called his twelve, and gave them power and authority over all demons and diseases, to heal.
2 Akatuma alongole kutanantya utemi wang'wi Tunda nukuguna ialwae.
And he sent them to proclaim the kingdom of Aloha, and to heal the diseased.
3 Akaila, muleke kuhola kihi kunsoko amuhinzo wanyuata umulanga, ata imbugulu, ata indya, ata ipia, muleke kuhola inkanzu niibili.
And he said to them, Take nothing for the way, neither staff, nor bag, nor bread, nor silver; nor two tunics shall you have.
4 Nyumba ihi nimukingila mikie mumo kunamukuhegela kung'wanso.
And into whatever house you enter, there be, and from thence go forth.
5 Ingi ngwa ao nisha akumusingilya, nimukahega mukisali nikanso, mipununte ulunkundi mumigulu anyu kunsoko akilingasilyo kao.
And whoever will not receive you, when you depart from that city the dust also from your feet shake off as a testimony against them.
6 Ikahega ikalongola nukukiila muisali, nukutanantya upanga nukuguna lantu ni.
And the apostles went forth and itinerated in the villages and the cities, and evangelized and healed in every place.
7 Itungili Herode, mkulu, aiwigule, ihi naiapumie aiwagile itai, kunsoko aiittambuwe ikatula Yohana mubatisaji uhimbukile kupuma muashi.
But Herodes, Tetrarka, heard all that was done by his hand, and was astonished; for men said that Juchanon had risen from the house of the dead.
8 Niakehu ikalunga ue Elia wapumie, niangita ikalunga ung'wi wanyakidagu nia kali wahimbuka muashi hangi.
But others said that Elia had appeared, and others that a prophet from the former prophets had risen.
9 U Herode, akalunga, ainimusinzile u Yohana, Ingi uyu nyinyu nung'wenso nikija inkani yakwee? u Herode akaduma inzila akumuona U Yesu.
And Herodes said, The head of Juchanon I have cut off; but who is this of whom I hear these (things)? And he willed to see him.
10 Imatungo naiasukile nai atumilwe, ikamuila imantu ihi naitumile. Akahahola palung'winung'wenso akalongola wing'wene muhisali nikitangiwle Bethsadia.
And when the apostles returned, they showed Jeshu all that they had done. And he took them by themselves to a desert place of Bethtsaida.
11 Ingi umilundo wikija, ikamutwata, nukuasingilya akaligitwa nienso, utemi wang'wiTunda, au agunile awa naialoitwe kuguma.
But the multitudes, when they knew it, went after him, and he received them, and discoursed to them concerning the kingdom of Aloha. And those who had need of healing he healed.
12 Uluhuki nailandilye, kuhila nao nikumi naibili ikalongola kitalakwe akalunga, ''Usimbailye umilundo ulongole mukisali nia pakupi numuisali adume, usupilyo nindya, kunsoko kukoli mumbuga.
BUT when the day began to decline, the disciples drew near and said to him, Send away the multitudes, that they may go to the villages and hamlets that are around, to lodge in them and to find for themselves victuals, because we are in a desert place.
13 Ingi akaaila unye api imaintu akulya. ''Ikalunga kutile nimangiza ikoli indya kunsoko amilundo ni antu''.
Jeshu said to them, Give you them to eat. But they said, We have nothing more than five loaves and two fishes, unless we go and buy food for all this people:
14 Aikali itunja magana anzugu ataano pang'wanso. Akaaila iamanyisigwa akwe, Ikalinsi pihi maanza aantu iziakoli hamsini kila lanza
for they were about five thousand men. Jeshu said to them, Make them recline in reclining companies, fifty men in a company.
15 Kuluko ikatenda uu ni antu akikie pihi.
And the disciples did so. And they all reclined.
16 Akahola indya itaano ni samaki ibili akagoza milunde, akaikendepa, nukuega ipande, akaapa iamanyisigwa akwe aike kuntongela amilundo.
And Jeshu took those five loaves and two fishes, and looked up to heaven and blessed and brake and gave to his disciples, that they should set before the multitude.
17 Ini ikalya ikikuta, imaminyanguilwa naisigile ikahoela ikizulya itoto ikumi na ibili.
And all did eat and were filled. And they took up fragments which abounded, twelve baskets.
18 Nung'weso naukulopa wing'wene, lamanyisigwa akwe aiakoli palung'wi nung'wenso, akaakolya akalunga, lantu ilunga une ni nyinyu?
AND as he was praying alone, and his disciples with him, he asked them and said, What say concerning me the multitude, that I am?
19 Ikasusha, ikalunga, Yohana mubadisaji, niangiza ilunga Eliya, niangiza ilunga ung'wi wanyakidagu wa matungo na kali wahimbuka hangi.
They answered and say to him, Juchanon the Baptizer; and others that (thou art) Elia; but others that a prophet from the former prophets hath arisen.
20 Akaaila unyenye milunga unene ni nyinyu? Akasusha u petero akalunga, ''kristo kupuma kung'wi Tunda''.
He saith to them, But what do you say that I am? Shemun answered and said, The Meshicha of Aloha!
21 Ingi ngwa u Yesu akaahugolya, alekekumuila wihi kua ili iti.
But he forbade them and cautioned them that this they should tell no man.
22 Akalunga ng'wana wang'wa Adamu itai ukaga kunkani ni idu nukuhitwa nianyampala ni atemi ni aandiki nukubulagwa, nuluhiku lakatatu ukuhembuna.
And he told them how it was to be (that) he the Son of man should suffer many things and be rejected by the elders and the chief priests and Sophree, and (that) they would kill him; and that on the third day he would arise.
23 Akaaila ihi, ang'wi muntu wihi nuloilwe kutyata, Ikanwe ung'wenso, ahole itoka lakwe imahiku ihi na antyate.
And he said before all, Whoever willeth to come after me, must deny himself, and take up his cross daily, and come after me.
24 Wihi niwiza kugemakukuna upanga akwe ukuguni.
For whoever willeth to save his life, loseth it; but whoever (is willing) to lose his life, for my sake, he saveth it.
25 Kululo ukupata nsao ke umuntu, hangi au one ukumbigulu wihi, ukuliniilya nukuulya Ilioma lakwe.
For what is helped a son of man, if he shall gain the whole world and lose his soul, or perish?
26 Wihi nukuona iminyala kungwana ninganiyane, ng'wenso ng'wana wa ng'wa Adamu ukumuone minyala muuza na nuuzawang'wi ihe.
For whoever shall be ashamed of me and of my words, the Son of man will be ashamed of him, when he cometh in the glory of his Father with the holy angels.
27 Ingi kumuili itai, akehu, niimikile apa, sha akumilulya insha ku utemi wang'wi Tunda.
THE truth I say to you, that some who are standing here shall not taste death, until they have seen the kingdom of Aloha.
28 Mahiku munana naiakile u yesu alunga nkani Izi ingi ahela palung'wi nung'weso petro, Yona nu Yakobo, Akanankila mulugulu nukulompa.
And it was after these words about eight days, that Jeshu took Shemun and Jakub and Juchanon, and went up into a mountain to pray.
29 Ingi gwa nakulompa, u usu wakwe ukakailika ni mavazi akwe ikela pee.
And while he prayed, the appearance of his countenance was changed, and his garments became white and shone.
30 Ingi goza, aiakali Itunja abili akaziligitya nung'wenso ai Musa nu Eliya.
And, behold, two men talked with him, who were Musha and Elia,
31 Aigee kunso au kendepwa, ai aligitilya kunsoko kuhega kitala kwe, nkani naihuge kumala ku Yerusalem.
who appeared in glory; but they spake concerning his going forth which should be accomplished at Urishlem.
32 Itungili u petro naiyine palung'wi nung'wenso ainkoti mutulo numulito hangi naiaukile, Ikaona uza wakwe ni itunja abili naimikile palung'wi nung'winso.
And Shemun, and they who were with him, had been heavy with sleep, and were scarcely awaked when they saw his glory and those two men who stood with him.
33 Ikatula naiakuhega kung'wa Yesu, akamuila, ''mukulu, ingi iza kikie kunu kitaitu itakiwe kunoniye imakazi a antu atatu.
And when they began to depart from him, Shemun said to Jeshu, Rabi, it is good for us to be here: and let us make three tabernacles; for thee one, and for Musha one, and for Elia one. But he knew not what he said.
34 Nau ukulunga, nanso, likeuta ilunde lika akunikila, na ikogopa nilkaona apilimili gwa ni lunde.
And as he spoke these (words) there was a cloud which shadowed over them, and they feared when they saw that Musha and Elia entered into the cloud. i
35 Ululi lika puma milunde ikalunga, uyu ng'wa ana mutemi, mutegeli ng'wenso.
And the voice was from the cloud, saying, This is my Son, the Beloved, Him hear.
36 Ululi nailukilagilye, u Yesu aiwing'ene du, aiwikie twee imahiku nanso.
And when the voice had been, Jeshu was found alone. And they were silent, and told no man in those days what they had seen.
37 Luhiku nulukatwata, nika puma mulugulu, mumilunda ukulu nu a antu ikantankana nu ng'winso.
AND the day after when they had descended from the mountain, a great multitude met them.
38 Goza, mitunja mitunja aupumie mumilundo akalila kululi, akalunga, mumanyisi kulopa umugoza ung'wa ane, wingene.
And a certain man from the multitude cried and said, Malphona, I beseech thee, turn unto me; (there is) my son, my only one,
39 Waona ikolo nimbi hapun witule kulia iogo, witula uhaile nukupumai pombalu, N lipuma kushada, nu uwai nu utaki.
and a spirit passeth upon him, and he suddenly crieth, and gnasheth his teeth, and lacerateth, and hardly removeth from him when he hath bruised him.
40 Aini alompile iamanyisigwa ako kukemela Ikaleng'wa.
And I besought thy disciples to cast him out, but they could not.
41 U Yesu akasusha akalunga, unye uileli nu uhuie nuwu nualekile, kizi kikie nalinunye? muleti ungwa apa.
Then Jeshu answered and said, Ah generation unbelieving and perverse! how long shall I be with you and bear with you? Bring thy son hither.
42 Muhumba inkolo aiza nimbi aimutagaa pihi nuku muhingisa kungulu.
And as they brought him near, the devil cast him down and bruised him: and Jeshu rebuked that unclean spirit and healed the youth and gave him to his father.
43 Ihi ikapata ikuilwa ukulu wang'wi Itunda hangi ikatula singa ihi inkani naiwatumile, alunga kua manyasigwa akwe.
And they all wondered at the majesty of Aloha. And while every one wondered at all which Jeshu did, he said to his disciples,
44 Inkani yingile mua kutwa anyu kunsako ungwana angwa Adamu ukuhegigwa mumikono a anadamu.
Treasure these words in your ears; for the Son of man is to be delivered into the hands of men.
45 Ingi shanga aialingile inkani nianso aipihilwe mumiho ao kusoko aleke kulinga akogopa kukolia ulukani nulanso.
But they understood not that saying, because it was hidden from them that they should not know it: and they feared to ask of him concerning that saying.
46 Ingi akatula kinyoma kukiila kitalao Ingi gwa nyenyu natule mukulu.
And there entered among them the thought, Who should be greatest among them?
47 Ingi u Yesu akalinga naiakikalia mukalo yao, akamuhola umungenye numunino nukumuika pang'wa kwe.
But Jeshu knew the thought of their heart; and he took a child and made him stand with him.
48 Akulunga umuntu wihi nukumusingilia umung'enya numunino angu uyu kulina lane, ansingilie nune hangi, wihi nukunsingili une amusingili nuyu nautumile, kunsoko munino kung'wanyu wihi yuyo mukulu.
And he said to them, Every one who receiveth a child like this in my name, receiveth me. And whosoever receiveth me, he receiveth Him who sent me. For he who is least among you, he shall be greatest.
49 Yohana akasusha akulunga, ''mukulu, aikumuine umuntu akazi muzunsa ukintunga kulina lako kikamugili kunsoko shukoli palungwi nuse.
And Juchanon answered and said, Raban, we saw a man who was casting out demons in thy name, and we forbade him, because he came not with us after thee.
50 Ingi u Yesu akaila lekikumugili, uyu nisingukali palung'wi nunye Ingi wanyu.
Jeshu saith to them, Forbid him not; for he who is not against us, he is for us.
51 Ikatula imahiku nai ahumbee kullongala kilunge, akahonja u usu wakwe ku Yaruselemu.
AND it was that when the days were fulfilled for his Assumption, he directed his face to go to Urishlem.
52 Akatuma lanya mpala akwe, kuntonge la akwe, nienso ikalongola kukisali ka Wasomaria amunonelie pang'wanso.
And he sent messengers before his face, and they went and entered into a village of the Shomroyee, so as to prepare for him.
53 I antu sanga ikamusingilia, kunsoko au hongilye u usu wakwe ku Yarusalemu.
And they would not receive him, because his face unto Urishlem was set to go.
54 Iamanyisigwa akwe Yakobo nu Yohana naiaine iti, Ikalunga, mukulu itakile uzume umoto usime pihi kuma milunde ualimili?
And when Jacub and Juchanon his disciples saw it, they say to him, Maran, art thou willing that we call fire to descend from heaven to consume them, as Elia did?
55 Ingi akapilukila akaakenela.
But he turned and reproved them, and said, You know not of what spirit you are: for the Son of man is not come to destroy lives, but to save.
56 Ingi gwa Ikalongola kisali lingiza.
And they went to another village.
57 Naiahongile munzila yao, muntu ung'wi akamuila, mahali Ihi nuinzo.
And while they went in the way, a certain man said to him, I will follow thee to the place whither thou goest, my Lord.
58 Yesu akamuila,'' umulula akete imakombo, Inyonyi yamigulia akete iunyi, kunsoko umuntu mugila pakulala itue lakwe''
Jeshu saith to him, The foxes have holes and the fowls of the heaven a shadow, but the Son of man hath not where to lay his head.
59 Kululo akamuila muntu mungiza, Itiate.''naunso akalungai'' mukulu, ndekele nendemuika utata wane.
And he said to another, Come after me. But he said to him, My Lord, permit me first to go bury my father.
60 Nuanso akamuila aleke Iashi aike Iashi ao, kululo uewe longola utanantie utemi wang'wi Itunda kuisali.
Jeshu said to him, Leave the dead burying their dead; and thou, go and preach the kingdom of Aloha.
61 Hangi muntu mungiza akalunga, kutiata, Mukulu, ndulusile hanza nialage niakoli munyumba ane.
And another said to him, I will come after thee, my Lord, but first permit me to go to salute the sons of my house, and I will come.
62 Yesu akamuila kutile umuntu, nuika umukono akwe kulima nukugoza kunyuma nukutula Mtemi wang'wi Itunda.
Jeshu saith to him, No man putting his hand upon the coulter of the yoke, and looking behind him, is fit for the kingdom of Aloha.
