< uYohana 10 >

1 Huiili, huiili kumutambuila, uyo ni shanga ukingila kukiila mumpita nua itando nila nkolo, kuiti winankila ku nzila ingiiza, muntu nuanso ingi mii hangi muhimbi.
"In most solemn truth I tell you that the man who does not enter the sheepfold by the door, but climbs over some other way, is a thief and a robber.
2 Nuanso nuingilaa ku ku mulango ingi mudimi nua nkolo.
But he who enters by the door is the shepherd of the sheep.
3 Ku ng'waakwe u musunja nua mumpita wi muluguilaa. Inkolo yijaa u luli nu lakwe hangi wi yitangaa inkolo ku mina ao nu kuipumya kunzi.
To him the porter opens the door, and the sheep hear his voice; and he calls his own sheep by their names and leads them out.
4 Nuika ipumya kunzi izo ni akwe, wi itongeela, ni inkolo yi mutyataa, ku nsoko ilingile u luli lakwe.
When he has brought out his own sheep--all of them--he walks at the head of them; and the sheep follow him, because they know his voice.
5 Shanga ikumutyata u muziila kuiti badala akwe yukumuhuga, ku nsoko shanga yilingile induli nia aziil.”
But a stranger they will by no means follow, but will run away from him, because they do not know the voice of strangers."
6 uYesu ai uligitilye impyani iyi kitalao, kuiti shanga ikamalinga imakani aya naiza utuile ukuligitya kitalao.
Jesus spoke to them in this figurative language, but they did not understand what He meant.
7 uYesu ai uligitilye ni enso hangi, Huiili, huiili, kumutambuila, Unene ni mumpita nua nkolo.
Again therefore Jesus said to them, "In most solemn truth I tell you that I am the Door of the sheep.
8 Ihi nai antongee ingi ii hangi ahimbi, kuiti i nkolo shanga ai iategeeye.
All who have come before me are thieves and robbers; but the sheep would not listen to them.
9 Unene ingi mumpita. Wihi ni ingiila kukiila kitalane, ukugunwa; ukingila mukati nu kupuma, nu ng'wenso uki ligilya u ludimo.
I am the Door. If any one enters by me, he will find safety, and will go in and out and find pasture.
10 Umii shanga uzile kwaala kia, kubulaga, nu kulimilya. Nzile iti kina alije u upanga nua kali na kali hangi atule nuenso widu.
The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy: I have come that they may have Life, and may have it in abundance.
11 Unene ni mudimi nu mukende, uMudimi nu mukende wipumyaa u upanga nu akwe ku nsoko a nkolo.
"I am the Good Shepherd. A good shepherd lays down his very life for the sheep.
12 uMunya mulimo nu anilwe, ni shanga mudimi, naiza inkolo shanga nsao yakwe, wihengaa i mbugi ipembilye nu kuimanka inkolo.
The hired servant--one who is not a shepherd and does not own the sheep--no sooner sees the wolf coming than he leaves the sheep and runs away; and the wolf worries and scatters them.
13 Ni imbugi yi iambaa nu kuisapatilya. Wimankaa ku nsoko ingi munya milimo nua kanwa hangi shanga uikee inkolo.
For he is only a hired servant and cares nothing for the sheep.
14 Unene ni mudimi nu mukende, hangi nialingile ni ane, ni enso ni ane aningile unene.
"I am the Good Shepherd. And I know my sheep and my sheep know me,
15 uTata uningile, nu nene numulingile uTata, nu nene niupumyaa u upanga nuane ku nsoko a nkolo.
just as the Father knows me and I know the Father; and I am laying down my life for the sheep.
16 Nkete i nkolo inzuya naza shanga yi itando ili. Nianso ga, ntakiwe kuileta, ni nyenso yukija u luli nulane iti kina itule ikoli idale ling'wi nu mudimi ung'wi.
I have also other sheep--which do not belong to this fold. Those also I must bring, and they will listen to my voice; and they shall become one flock under one Shepherd.
17 Iyi yiyo nsoko uTata undoilwe: Nu upumye u upanga nu ane halafu nu uhole hangi.
For this reason my Father loves me, because I am laying down my life in order to receive it back again.
18 Kutili nui uholaa kupuma kitalane, kuiti unene mukola niu pumyaa. Nkete u uhumi nua ku upumya, hangi nkete u uhumi ga nuku uhola. Nilisingiiye ilagiilyo ili kupuma kung'wa Tata.”
No one is taking it away from me, but I myself am laying it down. I am authorized to lay it down, and I am authorized to receive it back again. This is the command I received from my Father."
19 Utemanuki ukapumila hangi mu Ayahudi ku nsoko a makani aya.
Again there arose a division among the Jews because of these words.
20 Idu ao akaligitya, “Ukete hing'wi hangi ingi muhali. Ku niki mukumutengeelya?”
Many of them said, "He is possessed by a demon and is mad. Why do you listen to him?"
21 Auya akaligitya, “Aya shanga makani a muntu nu halinkaniwe ni ahing'wi. uHing'wi uhumile kumupitya i miho u mupoku?”
Others argued, "That is not the language of a demoniac: and can a demon open blind men's eyes?"
22 Uugwa ikaza i siku kuu a kuika u wakfu iYerusalemu.
The Dedication Festival came on in Jerusalem. It was winter,
23 Ai yatulaa itungo nila ulyuuku, nu Yesu ai watulaa ukugenda mi Itekeelo mu kianda ni kang'wa Selemani.
and Jesus was walking in the Temple in Solomon's Portico,
24 Uugwa iAyahudi nai akamupilimikiilya nu kumutambuila, “Kupikiila nali ukuuika mu witumbi? anga ize uewe ingi Kristo, kuile kihenga.
when the Jews gathered round Him and kept asking Him, "How long do you mean to keep us in suspense? If you are the Christ, tell us so plainly."
25 uYesu akasukiilya, “Nakondyaa kumutambuila kuiti shanga muhuiie. Milimo nikituma ku lina ni lang'wa Tata nuane, nianso iku kuila migulya ane
"I have told you," answered Jesus, "and you do not believe. The deeds that I do in my Father's name--they give testimony about me.
26 Ga ni iti shanga mu huiie ku nsoko unyenye shanga mi nkolo yane.
But you do not believe, because you are not my sheep.
27 Inkolo ni ane yukija u luli nulane; Ni ilingile, ni nyenso yukuntyata unene.
My sheep listen to my voice, and I know them, and they follow me.
28 Ni yinkiiye u upanga nua kali na kali; shanga yukulimila nangaluu, hangi kutili ga nung'wi nuika isapula kupuma mu mikono ane. (aiōn g165, aiōnios g166)
I give them the Life of the Ages, and they shall never, never perish, nor shall any one wrest them from my hand. (aiōn g165, aiōnios g166)
29 uTata nu ane, nai uninkiiye nianso, ingi mukulu kukila ni angiiza ihi. hangi kutili ga nung'wi nukete u uhumi nua kuasapula kupuma mu mikono ang'wa Tata.
What my Father has given me is more precious than all besides; and no one is able to wrest anything from my Father's hand.
30 Unene nu Tata ki palung'wi.”
I and the Father are one."
31 Akakenka i magwe iti amutulangwe hangi.
Again the Jews brought stones with which to stone Him.
32 uYesu aka asukiilya, “Nakondya kumulagiila milimo idu ni miza kupuma kung'wa Tata. Ku milimo ni uli mu nanso muloilwe kuntulanga imagwe?”
Jesus remonstrated with them. "Many good deeds," He said, "have I shown you as coming from the Father; for which of them are you going to stone me?"
33 iAyahudi akamusukiilya, “Shanga ku ukutulanga image ku mulimo wihi nu uziza, kuiti ku kukunka, ku nsoko uewe, nuili wi muntu, ukitendiisa kina Itunda.”
"For no good deed," the Jews replied, "are we going to stone you, but for blasphemy, and because you, who are only a man, are making yourself out to be God."
34 uYesu aka asukiilya, “Shanga ai ikilisigwe mu malagiilyo anyu, 'Aindigitilye, “Unyenye mi itunda?”
"Does it not stand written in your Law," replied Jesus, "'I said, you are gods'?
35 Anga itule ai uitangile mi Itunda, ku awo naza Lukani nu lang'wa Itunda ai liaziie (nu Ukilisigwa shanga uhumile kubunangwa),
If those to whom God's word was addressed are called gods (and the Scripture cannot be annulled),
36 mukuligitya migulya a uyo naiza u Tata umupumilye nu kumulagiilya mu unkumbigulu, 'Ukukunka,' ku nsoko ai ndigitilye, ''unene ni ng'wana wang'wa Itunda'?
how is it that you say to one whom the Father consecrated and sent into the world, 'You are blaspheming,' because I said, 'I am God's Son'?
37 “Anga itule shanga kituma i milimo ang'wa Tata nuane, muleke kuni huiila.
If the deeds I do are not my Father's deeds, do not believe me.
38 Ga ni iti anga itule kituma i milimo, anga itule shanga munihuiie, huiili i milimo iti kina muhume kulinga uTata ukoli mu kati ane nu nene nkoli mukati ang'wa Tata.”
But if they are, then even if you do not believe me, at least believe the deeds, that you may know and see clearly that the Father is in me, and that I am in the Father."
39 Akagema hangi kumuamba uYesu, kuiti akalongola yakwe kupuma mu mikono ao.
This made them once more try to arrest Him, but He withdrew out of their power.
40 uYesu akalongola yakwe hangi ki itumbi nila Yordani nkika naiza uYohana ai watulaa ukoja u ng'wandyo, nu kikie kuko.
Then He went away again to the other side of the Jordan, to the place where John had been baptizing at first; and there He stayed.
41 Antu idu akapembya kung'wa Yesu. Ai alongolekile kuligitya, “uYahana tai shanga ai witule i ilingasiilyo yihi, kuiti imakani ihi nai umaligitilye uYohana migulya a muntu uyu ingi a tai.”
Large numbers of people also came to Him. Their report was, "John did not work any miracle, but all that John said about this Teacher was true."
42 Antu idu akamuhuiila uYesu pang'wanso.
And many became believers in Him there.
