Galatia 5
1 Inge kunsoko u Kristo ai ukinkiiye u lyuuku iti kutule ki alyuuku, Uugwa, imiki ikomu muleke kuambigwa hangi mu mumumpeto nua utugwa.
Stand firm in the liberty with which Christ made us free, and be not again bound fast to the yoke of bondage.
2 Goza, unene Paulo, kumuila kina anga itule mikatalwa kiganda, u Kristo shanga ukumuaiilya ku nzila ihi nanso.
Behold, I Paul say to you, that if ye are circumcised, Christ will profit you nothing;
3 Hangi, kumukuiila kila mugoha nu endile kiganda kina utakiwe kipumya nangulu ku malagiilyo ihi.
yea, I testify again to every one who becometh circumcised, that he is bound to keep the whole Law.
4 Mabaguwe kuli nu Kristo, awo ihi, ''Numukualigwa tai ane'' ku malagiilyo. Mugwie kuli nu ukende.
Ye are entirely separated from Christ, who seek to obtain righteousness through the Law; ye have fallen away from grace.
5 Ndogoelyo, ku nzila a ng'wau ng'welu, ku uhuiili kulindiie u ugimya nua tai ane.
For we through the Spirit by faith steadfastly wait for the hope of righteousness.
6 Mu ng'wa Kristo Yesu kutalwa kiganda ang'wi kuhita kutalwa kiganda kutili ndogoelyo ihi.
For in Christ Jesus neither circumcision availeth anything, nor uncircumcision; but faith working by love.
7 Inge uhuiili wing'wene nuitumaa umulimo kukiila ulowa uugwa wisiigiila kintu.
Ye were running well; who hindered you, that ye should not obey the truth?
8 Ai matulaa mi mankaa ntambo iziza. Nyenyu akamugilya kumikulya itai? U upeng'wi nua kituma nianso shanga upumile kitalakwe ng'wenso nui mitanga u nyenye.
This persuasion came not from him that called you.
9 Igai ishenyuu igazanja ipuli lihi.
A little leaven leaveneth the whole lump.
10 Nkete usumbiilya nu nyenye ku Mukulu kina shanga mukusiga ku nzila ingiiza ihi. Wihi nuanso nuikamulimilya ukukenka uulamulwa nu akwe ng'wenso mukola, Wihi nuanso.
I indeed have confidence in regard to you in the Lord, that ye will be no otherwise minded; but he that troubleth you shall bear his judgment, whoever he may be.
11 Aluna, anga ize nongolekile kutanantya ikidamu, ku niki nkili kagigwa? ku ikolyo ili, iko niiza inge ikito nila ikota ni la mpaga kihumile kubepigwa.
But as for me, brethren, if I still preach circumcision, why do I still suffer persecution? Then hath the cross ceased to be a stumbling-block.
12 Inge ulowa nu ane kutula awo ni akumutongeela ibii aki hoola i kola.
Would that they who unsettle you would quite cut themselves off!
13 Itunda umitangile, aluna, mu ulyuuku, iti muleke kuutumila u ulyuuku nu anyu anga lyoma ku muili, Badala akwe ku ulowa muzii aiilya unyenye ku nyenye.
For ye, brethren, were called to liberty; only use not your liberty for an occasion to the flesh, but by your love serve one another.
14 Kunsoko ilagiilyo lihi likondaniie ku ilago ling'wi; ni nyenso inge, ''Inge kusinja umulowe umunyakisali nu ako anga uewe mukola''.
For the whole Law is fulfilled in one commandment, even in this “Thou shalt love thy neighbor as thyself.”
15 Kuiti anga muze itakuna nu kilya, igozeeli kina muleke kibipya unyenye ku nyenye.
But if ye bite and devour one another, beware lest ye be consumed by one another.
16 Kukligitya, gendi ku nkolo, ni ang'wi shanga mukuikondaniilya insula nia muiili.
But I say, Walk by the Spirit, and ye will not fulfill the desires of the flesh.
17 Kunsoko u muili ukete nsula nkulu kung'wa ng'wau ung'welu, nu ng'wau ng'welu ukete nsula nkulu kikilya nu muili. Izi yuki kunyuma kila ing'wi nu muya, mapumilo i nge kina shanga mukituma iintu ni mukete insula ku ituma.
For the flesh hath desires against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh; and these oppose one another, that ye may not do the things that ye would.
18 Ku iti anga u ng'wau ng'welu umutongee unyenye, mikutili pihi ilagiilyo.
But if ye are led by the Spirit, ye are not under the Law.
19 Itungili intendo nia muili yigeelekile. Ni yenso inge, usambo, ushapu, wii.
Now the works of the flesh are manifest; such as fornication, uncleanness, wantonness,
20 Ipolya ni la adudu, ulogi, ulugu, wilea, nsula, kuhung'wa iko, wikingumi, utemanuki, nua matekeelo,
idolatry, sorcery, hatreds, strife, rivalry, outbursts of wrath, cabals, divisions, factions,
21 Wilu ulaku ugala ntuli ni makani mauya anga aya. Nu mu huguuye unyenye, anga nai nu muhuguuye un'wandyo, kin awo ni akituma imakani anga nanso shanga akusala uutemi ua ang'wi Itunda.
envyings, drunkenness, revelings, and things like these; of which I tell you beforehand, as I also told you in time past, that they who practise such things shall not inherit the kingdom of God.
22 Ku iti inkali ang'wau ng'welu inge ulowa, ulyuuku, ugimya, uza nua nkolo, untu nu uziza, uhuiili.
But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, long-suffering, kindness, goodness, faithfulness,
23 Upolo, hangi ngele; kutili anga ilagiilyo kikilya ni makani anga ayo.
meekness, temperance; against such things as these there is no law.
24 Awo ni ang'wa Kristo Yesu au wagilye umuili palung'wi nu umila mati ni nsula ni ao ni mbii.
And they who belong to Christ Jesus crucified the flesh with the passions and lusts.
25 Anga ize kuikie kung'wau ng'welu hangi kugende ku ng'wau ng'welu.
If we live by the Spirit, let us also walk by the Spirit.
26 Kuleke kutula kia kidaya, kuleke kidumiilya kila ung'wi ku miakwe, Ang'wi kuleke ki onela u wilu.
Let us not become vain-glorious, provoking one another, envying one another.
