< Galatia 2 >

1 Ze akila imyaka ikumi na inne nika longola hangi ku yerusalemu palung'wi nu Barnaba. Nikamuhola ga nu Tito palung'wi nu nene.
Fourteen years after, I went up again to Jerusalem with Barnabas, and took Titus also with me.
2 Ai nongoe ku nsoko Itunda ai wikaminkiiye kitalane kina ai ntakiwe kulongola. Ai mbikile ntongeela ao nkani ni nza naza niitanantilye ku antu a mahi (kuiti ai ntambue ku kimpinyimpinyi ku nai atambulikile kina atongeelia a kusanigwa) ai nitumile izi iti kukomanilya kina ai natulaa shanga mankile, ang'wi ai mankile nankanda.
But I went up according to a divine revelation, and laid before them the gospel which I preach among the gentiles: though privately to those of note, least I should run, or had run in vain.
3 Ku iti ga uTito, nai watulaa palung'wi nu nene, ai watuile mu Yunai, Usingigwe kutalwa kiganda.
But even Titus, who was with me, being a Greek, was not compelled to be circumcised;
4 Ikani ili ai lipumiie ku nsoko a aluna ni a uteele nai azile ku kimpinyimpinyi kudumiila uulyuku na katulaa nu wenso mung'wa Kristo Yesu. Ai akete nsula kuuzipya usese kutula atung'waa ilagiilyo.
and that because of the false brethren clandestinely introduced, who had crept in as spies upon our liberty, which we have in Christ Jesus, that they might bring us into bondage:
5 Shanga ai kipumilye kuakulya ga nu ku saa ing'wi, iti kina nkani ninza ni ya tai isage shanga ize ikailikile kitalanyu.
to whom we yielded no submission, not even for an hour; that the truth of the gospel might continue with you.
6 Ku iti awo nai atambue kina ai atulaa shanga ai ahanguie kihi kitalane. Kihi nai atulaa akukituma shanga ai kituile ni ndogoelyo kitalane Itunda shanga ugombile ukuiili nu ana adamu.
And as to those who seemed to be men of note, whatever they were, it is all one to me, (God accepteth no man's person) for even these eminent persons added nothing more to me.
7 Badala akwe, ai unihengile kina nihuiiwe kuitanantya inkani ni nza ku awo naza shanga atawe kiganda. Ai ituile anga uPetro watanantye nkani ninza nia tai ku nai atawe kiganda.
But on the contrary, seeing that I was intrusted with the gospel of uncircumcision, as Peter was with that of the circumcision;
8 Ku ndogoelyo Itunda nai witumile u milimo mukati ang'wa Petro kunsoko utuungwaa ku awo nai atawe kiganda ai witumile ga umilimo mu kati ane ku antu ni a mahi.
(for He who wrought effectually in Peter as to the apostleship of the circumcision, wrought effectually also in me as to the gentiles: )
9 Itungo uYakobo, Kefa nu Yohananai akumukile kina ai azengileIlekeelo, ai alingile u ukende nai ninkiingwe unene, ai akusingiiye mu uhanguili unene, nu Barnaba. Ai itumile izi iti kina kulongole ku antu ni a mahi, hangi iti kina ahume kulongola ku awa ni atawe kiganda.
and knowing the grace which was given to me; James, and Cephas, and John, who seemed to be pillars of the church, gave to me and Barnabas the right hands of fellowship; that we should go to the gentiles, and they to the circumcision.
10 Ai akuloilwe ga nu sese kuakimbuka i aula. Unene ga ai natulaa nkete insula kituma ikani ili.
Only desiring that we would remember the poor: which I also was forward to do.
11 Matungo uKefa nai wakiza ku Antiokia ai numugiiye ikihenga ku nsoko ai watulaa walimangiila.
But when Peter came to Antioch, I withstood him to the face, because he was indeed to be blamed.
12 Ze ikili i antu kitunga kupembya kupuma kung'wa Yakobo, u Kefa ai watulaa ukulya ni antu ni a mahi. Ku iti iantu awa nai akiza, ai ulekile nu kuhega kupuma ku antu ni a mahi. Ai watulaa witumbile i antu nai atakile i kidamu.
For before certain men came from James, he did eat with the gentiles; but when they were come, he withdrew and separated himself, fearing those of the circumcision.
13 Lulo luulo i Ayahudi auya ai aambinkanile nu udosi uwu palng'wi nu Kefa. Wigeeli nu akwe ai otuile ga nu Barnaba ai uhoilwe nu udosi nu ao.
And the rest of the Jews dissembled also with him; so that Barnabas too was carried away with their dissimulation.
14 Ku iti nai nihengile kina ai atulaa shanga atyatile nkani ninza ni a tai, ai numutambuie u Kefa ntongeela ao ihi, ''Anga ize unyenye inge mi Ayahudi ku iti mikaie ntendo ni a antu a mahi badala a ntendo ni a Yahudi, Ku niki mukuasinja i antu ni amahi kikie anga Ayahudi?''.
But when I saw that they walked not uprightly according to the truth of the gospel, I said to Peter before them all, ---If thou, who art a Jew, livest sometimes after the manner of the gentiles, and not like the Jews, why dost thou now in a manner compel the gentiles to judaize?
15 Usese naza ki Ayahudi kia kutugwa hangi shanga ''antu a mahi ni anya milandu ''.
We, who are Jews by birth, and not sinners of the gentiles,
16 linga kina kutili nui ailigwa i tai ku ntendo ni a ilagiilyo. Badala akwe i ailigwa tai ane ku uhuiili mukati ang'wa Yesu Kristo. Ai kuzile ku uhuiili mukate ang'wa Kristo Yesu iti kina kialigwa tai ane ku uhuiili mukate ang'wa Kristo hangi shanga ku ntendo ni a malagiilyo. Ku ntendo ni a malagiilyo kutili umuili nu ika aligwa tai ane.
knowing that a man is not justified by the works of the law, but by faith in Jesus Christ, even we have believed in Christ Jesus, that we might be justified by faith in Christ, and not by the works of the law: for by the works of the law shall no flesh be justified.
17 Kuiti anga ni kuumuduma Itunda ku kualya itai ane mukati ang'wa Kristo, keenda ihanga akola ga kina anya milandu, itii uKristo ai uzipigwe mutung'waa nu a milandu? shanga iti!
But if while we seek to be justified by Christ, we ourselves also are found sinners, is Christ therefore the minister of sin?
18 Ndogoelyo anga nzenge isumbiilyo ni lane migulya a kuika ilagiilyo, isumbiilyo naza nakondaa kuliheja, kilagiila u mukola kina kubunanga ilagiilyo.
God forbid. And if I build again the same things which I demolished, I shew myself a transgressor: for I through the law am dead to the law,
19 Kukiila ilagiilyo ai nkule ki ilagiilyi Kululo ntakiwe kikie kunsoko ang'wa Itunda.
that I might live unto God.
20 Nagigwe palung'wi nu Kristo, shanga nene hangi ni nikie, ila Kristo nuikie mukati ane. Likalo ni nikie mu muili nikie ku uhuiili mukate ang'wa ng'wana wang'wa Itunda, nai iza umuloilwe nu kipumya kunsoko ane.
I am crucified with Christ; yet I live, though no longer I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh, I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me, and gave up himself for me.
21 Shanga nu uhitile u ukende nu ang'wa Itunda, ndogoelyo anga itai ane ai ikoli kukiila ilagiilyo, Uugwa u Kristo ai uzeetula ukule na nkanda.
I do not frustate the grace of God: for if righteousness be by the law, then Christ died in vain.
