Efeso 1
1 Paulo, mutugwa wa ng'wa Kristo Yesu ku ulowa nu wang'wi Itunda. Ku awo nai abaguwe kunsoko ang'wa Itunda ni akoli ku Efeso hangi niiza inge ahuiili kung'wa Kristo Yesu.
Paul, an Apostle of Christ Jesus by the will of God: To God's people who are in Ephesus--believers in Christ Jesus.
2 Ukende utule kitalanyu nu ulyuuku nu upembeeye kung'wi Itunda Tata nu utunu mukulu u Yesu Kristo.
May grace and peace be granted to you from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.
3 Itunda hangi Tata nu a mukulu nu itu Yesu Kristo nu apegwe ikulyo. Hangi ng'wenso nai ukukendepile kukiila ukende nua ki ng'wau ng'welu, mu kianza ka kilunde mukati ang'wa Kristo.
Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has crowned us with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly realms in Christ;
4 Ze ikili kuumbwa uunkumbigulu, Itunda ai ukuholanilye usese niiza kuhuiie mung'wa Kristo. Ai ukuholanilye usese iti kuhume kutula elu ni shanga kitukwaa ntongela akwe.
even as, in His love, He chose us as His own in Christ before the creation of the world, that we might be holy and without blemish in His presence.
5 Ku ulowa Itunda ai uholanilye u ng'wandyo ku uhola anga ana akweku nzila ang'wa Yesu Kristo. Ai witumile izi kunsoko ai uloeegwe kituma iko nai ukete i nsula.
For He pre-destined us to be adopted by Himself as sons through Jesus Christ--such being His gracious will and pleasure--
6 Mapumiilo akwe inge kina Itunda ukukuligwa ku ukende nua ikulyo ni lakwe. Iki kiko nai ukinkiiye nankanda ku nzila a mulowa nu akwe.
to the praise of the splendour of His grace with which He has enriched us in the beloved One.
7 Ku nsoko mu mulowa nu akwe, kukete ligunwa kukiila sakami ni akwe. ulekelwa nua milandu. kulikete ili kunsoko a ugoli nua ukende nu akwe.
It is in Him, and through the shedding of His blood, that we have our deliverance--the forgiveness of our offences--so abundant was God's grace,
8 Ai wutumile ukende uwu kutula widu kunsoko itu mu upolo nu umanyi.
the grace which He, the possessor of all wisdom and understanding, lavished upon us,
9 Itunda ai witumile ikumuke kitaitu iyo itai nai ipihile na masigo, kupumiila ni nsula nai igeelekilemukati ang'wa Kristo.
when He made known to us the secret of His will. And this is in harmony with God's merciful purpose
10 Itungo imatungo akondaniie ku ukondaniili nua masigo akwe. Itunda ukuiika palung'wi kila i kintu ni ka kilunde niki nika migulya ihi mukati ang'wa Kristo.
for the government of the world when the times are ripe for it--the purpose which He has cherished in His own mind of restoring the whole creation to find its one Head in Christ; yes, things in Heaven and things on earth, to find their one Head in Him.
11 Mung'wa Kristo ai katulaa kaholanigwa nu kusigiilwa ze ikili imatungo. Iyi ai ituile inge kupumiila ni masigo ang'wa nu itumaa i intu yihi ku isigo nila ulowa wakwe.
In Him we Jews have been made heirs, having been chosen beforehand in accordance with the intention of Him whose might carries out in everything the design of His own will,
12 Itunda ai witumile nianso iti kina kuhume kutula kukoli ku ilumbi nila ikulyo ni lakwe. Ai katulaa kiang'wandyo kutula nu ugimya mukati ang'wa Kristo.
so that we should be devoted to the extolling of His glorious attributes--we who were the first to fix our hopes on Christ.
13 Ai ituile ku nzila ang'wa Kristo kina ai migule lukani nula tai, nkani ninza nia ugunwa nu anyu ku nzila ang'wa Kristo. Ai ituile ku ng'wenso ga kina mahuiie nu kuikilwa u logo nua ng'wau ng'welu nai wigombigwe.
And in Him you Gentiles also, after listening to the Message of the truth, the Good News of your salvation--having believed in Him--were sealed with the promised Holy Spirit;
14 Ung'wau ng'welu yuyo ukuiili nua usali witu kupikiila uhuiili nu ikigeeleka. Iyi ai ituile inge ku ilumbi nu ukulyo ni lakwe.
that Spirit being a pledge and foretaste of our inheritance, in anticipation of its full redemption--the inheritance which He has purchased to be specially His for the extolling of His glory.
15 Kunsoko iyi, Puma itungo nai nigule lukani kutula uhuiili nu anyu mukati ang'wa Mukulu Yesu nu kutula ulowa nu anyu ku awo ihi naza abaguwe kunsoko akwe.
For this reason I too, having heard of the faith in the Lord Jesus which prevails among you, and of your love for all God's people,
16 Nkili kuleka kumulumbiilya Itunda anyu nu ku ata mumalompi ane.
offer never ceasing thanks on your behalf while I make mention of you in my prayers.
17 Kulompa kina Itunda nua Mukulu nu itu Yesu Kristo. Tata nu ikulyo, wika minkiilya nkolo a upolo, ukunukulwa nua umanyi nu akwe.
For I always beseech the God of our Lord Jesus Christ--the Father most glorious--to give you a spirit of wisdom and penetration through an intimate knowledge of Him,
18 Kulompa kina miho anyu na munkolo aikilwe welu ku nyenye kulinga inge nu u uli uugimya nua kitngwa kitalanyu. Kulompa mulinge kina u ugimya nuikulyo nila usali nu akwe mukati nua awo nai abaguwe kunsoko akwe.
the eyes of your understanding being enlightened so that you may know what is the hope which His call to you inspires, what the wealth of the glory of His inheritance in God's people,
19 Kulompa kina ulinge u ukulu nu ukilinkiie nua ngulu ni akwe mukati itu niiza kuhuiie. Uwu ukulu inge kupumiila nu kituma milimo mu ngulu ni akwe.
and what the transcendent greatness of His power in us believers as seen in the working of His infinite might
20 Iyi inge ngulu nai itumile milimo mukati ang'wa Kristo matungo Itunda nai umuukilya kupuma ku ashi nuku mikalinsha mu mukono nu akwe nua kigoha mu kianza ka kilunde. Ai umikalnsilye u Kristo migulya kuli nu utemi, ngulu, uhumi, ukulu ni kila lina nilitegwaa.
when He displayed it in Christ by raising Him from the dead and seating Him at His own right hand in the heavenly realms,
high above all other government and authority and power and dominion, and every title of sovereignty used either in this Age or in the Age to come. (aiōn g165)
22 Itunda uikilagilye i intu yihi pihi a mugulu ang'wa Kristo. Umuzepilye ng'wenso itwe migulya a intu yihi mi Itekeelo.
God has put all things under His feet, and has appointed Him universal and supreme Head of the Church, which is His Body,
23 Inge itekeelo kina lilo muili nu akwe ukondaniili nu akwe niiza wizuligwa i intu yihi mu nzila yihi.
the completeness of Him who everywhere fills the universe with Himself.
