1 Kuite ulenge ele: Mumahiku nampelo yukutula matungo makaku.
But know this: Hard times will come in the last days.

For people will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boasters, proud, blasphemous, disobedient to parents, ungrateful, unholy,
3 Niagila ulowa nuaupuumo, neshaatakile kikie nuupolo niauya, akinyeli, asongeeli, neshahumile kigilya, neakete epujo, neshaatakile nimaza.
without natural affection, irreconcilable, slanderous, without self-control, brutal, having no love for what is good,
4 Ikatula nukuhitana, elogoha, neiloilwe ienso hange alowa usambo kukila kumulowa Itunda.
traitors, reckless, puffed up, and lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God,
5 Kukunzi akutula anga ang'wi Tunda, kuite akumihita engulu akwe. Iheje muantu nianso.
having a form of godliness but denying its power. Avoid such people.
6 Kunsoko ang'wi ao inge agoha neingila mumato naantu nukupepeelya asungu niapungu. Awa asungu neizuwe nimilandu hange niitongeelwa ninsula niakela kela iaina.
Among them are those who worm their way into houses and captivate vulnerable women who are overwhelmed with sins and swayed by various evil desires.
7 Iasungu awaite imanyisa imahiku ehi, kuite kwee shaakupikiila uulengi nuatai.
Such women are always learning yet never able to come to the knowledge of the truth.
8 Anga uu nua Yane nu Yambre aeemikile kumuhita u Musa. Kunsoko eye amanyisi awa niauteele imika kumuhita itai. Antu niabipile mumasigo ao, shagombekile kutula nuuhueli.
Just as Jannes and Jambres opposed Moses, so these false teachers also oppose the truth. They are corrupted in mind and have proven themselves to be unqualified with respect to the faith.
9 Kuite shaakulongoleka nikuli. Kunsoko uupungu wao ukuikwa muweguse kuantu ehi, anga naewile nuaantu ao.
But they will not make any further progress, for their folly will become obvious to everyone, just like the folly of Jannes and Jambres.
10 Kuite uewe uutyatile uumanyisa wane, mulugendo lane, isigo lane, uhueli wane, wigigimeeli wane, ulowa wane nuuhumi wane,
Yoʋ, however, have closely followed my teaching, conduct, purpose, faith, patience, love, and endurance.
11 Iwago, uuwai naeumpaatile uko ku Antiokia, Ikonia nuku Listra. Aenigigimiiye ulwago. Umukulu aungunile mung'wanso nanso ehi.
Yoʋ know how much persecution and suffering I endured in Antioch, Iconium, and Lystra. Yet the Lord rescued me from it all.
12 Ehi nialoilwe kikie mulikalo lakumukulya Itunda mung'wa Yesu Kilisto akagigwa.
Indeed, everyone who wants to live a godly life in Christ Jesus will be persecuted.
13 Iantu niabi neikongelana akutula abi kukila. Akuakongela iauya. Nienso goa akongewe.
But evil people and imposters will become worse and worse, deceiving and being deceived.
14 Kuite uewe, saga munkani naewimanyisilye nukuikuela mutai. Kunsoko ulengile wimanyisilye kung'wa nyenyu.
But as for yoʋ, continue in what yoʋ have learned and firmly believed, knowing from whom yoʋ have learned it,
15 Ulengile kina kupuma uung'enya wako aulengile umaandeko nimatakatifu. Aya akumile kuukulya kunsoko auguni kunsoko auhueli mung'wa Yesu Kilisto.
and how from childhood yoʋ have known the sacred writings, which are able to give yoʋ wisdom for salvation through faith in Christ Jesus.
16 Kela iandeko liekiwe mekupo nang'wi Tunda. Lenonee kumanyisa umanyisi nuansailo, kupepeelya, kuzipiilya ulutumo, hange nukumanyisilya mutai.
All Scripture is inspired by God and is beneficial for teaching, reproof, correction, and instruction in righteousness,
17 Iye kina umuntu nuang'wi watule ukondile, wezeupegilwe uhumi wehi kunsoko akituma kela umulemo nuuza
so that the man of God may be complete, fully equipped for every good work.
