2 Thesalonike 2

1 Itungili kutula kupembya ku Mukulu itu uYesu Kristo nu kuilingiila palung'wi nung'wenso; ku umulompa unyenye aluna itu,

Now concerning the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ and our gathering together to meet him, I entreat you, brothers,

2 kina muleke kunyong'wa ang'wi kagigwa ku upepeele, ku nkolo, ang'wi ku lukani ang'wi ku ibada ni ligeelekile kutula lipumile kitaitu, ize liligitilye nia kutula luhiku nula Mukulu yakondya lapikaa.

not to be "quickly shaken out of your wits" and not to be agitated either by a spirit or by a message, or by an epistle purporting to be from me, saying, "The Day of the Lord is at hand."

3 uMuntu nua leke kumukongela ku mpyani ihi. Kunsoko shanga lizile kupikiila uwo u ugwi nuikapumila hanza nu muntu nua ugumaniilyi wakunukulwe, uyo ung'wana nua ubipya.

Let no one deceive you by any means. For it will not come until after the Great Apostasy, and the revealing of the Man of Sin, the son of perdition,

4 Uyu yuyo nuikingila, nung'wenso winyansulaa umukola aze mukingila Itunda ni kihi ni kipoeligwa. Ni mapumilo akwe, wikiie mu itekeelo nilang'wa Itunda nu ikilagiila ng'wenso kutula anga Itunda

the adversary, who opposes and exalts himself against all that is called God, or is an object of worship; so that he takes his seat in the Temple of God, and vaunts himself as God.

5 Itii, shanga mukimbukile kutula nai nkoli nu nyenye ai numutambuie migulya a makani aya?

Do you not recall that I often told you this, when I was with you?

6 Itungili mulingile iko ni kimukingilaa, Iti kina wahume ku kunukulwa ku matungo nu maziza nuikapikiila.

And now you know what is holding him back, to the end that he may be revealed in his appointed time.

7 Kunsoko i kinkunku ni kang'wa uyo u muntu munya kupiluka ukituma mulimo kupikiila itungili, iti udu ukoli nuimukingila itungili kupikiila nuika pumigwa munzila

For the mystery of lawlessness is already at work; only there is one who is hindering and will continue to hinder till he be removed;

8 Uugwa uyo u munya kupiluka nuikakunukulwa, naiza uMukulu uYesu wikamubulaga ku mihupo a ilangu nilakwe. Mukulu wikamuika shanga kintu kihi ku ukunukulwa nua upembyi nuakwe.

and then the lawless one will be revealed. Him the Lord will consume with the breath of his lips, and destroy with the brightness of his appearing;

9 Upembyi nuang'wa uyo munya kupiluka wikatula nsoko a mulimo nua mulugu ku ngulu yihi, ilingasiilyo nia ukuilwa nua uteele,

even he whose coming is according to the energy of Satan, in every power and sign and lying wonder,

10 nu uteele wihi nu ukete u wii. iMakani aya aze amoli ku awo niakulimila, ku nsoko shanga ai ausingiiye u ulowa nua tai ku nsoko a kugunwa kitalao.

and with all deceit of unrighteousness for those who are perishing, because they did not receive the love of the truth for their salvation.

11 Ku nsoko nanso Itunda ukuatumila mulimo nu ukete u ubi iti ahuiile u utele.

For this reason God is sending on them an energy of delusion, that they should put faith in a falsehood;

12 Mapumilo akwe ingi kina ihi akulamulwa, awo naza shanga ahuiie i tai ila nianso iloeelya mu wii.

so that they all should be condemned, who are faithless to the truth, but take pleasure in evil.

13 Kuiti kutakiwe kumulumba Itunda kila nkua kunsoko anyu aluna ni muloilwe nu Mukulu. Kunsoko uMukulu ai umuholanilye unyenye anga lugano nula ugunwa ku welu nua Ng'wau Ng'welu nu uhuiili ku iyo itai.

But for you, brothers, whom the Lord loves, I ought to give thanks to God continually, because God has chosen you from the beginning for salvation in consecration of the Spirit and belief of the truth.

14 Iki kiko nai umitengie unyenye, kina kukiila nkani ninza muhume kuli lija ikulyo nila Mukulu nuitu uYesu Kristo.

For this he called you through my gospel, so that you might obtain the glory of our Lord Jesus Christ.

15 Ku lulo, aluna, imiki ikaku, Ulingi uwo ulogo nai mumanyisigwe, ku lukani ang'wi ku mabada itu.

So, brothers, stand fast, and hold fast the teachings which you have been taught by me, whether by word of mouth or by letter.

16 Itungili, uMukulu nuitu uYesu Kristo mukola, nu Itunda Tata nuitu nai ukuloilwe nu kuinkiilya ipoeelya nila kali na kali nu ugimya nu ukende ku nsoko a likalo nu lupembilye kukiila ukende, (aiōnios g166)

And may our Lord Jesus Christ himself, and God our Father, who has loved us and given us eternal encouragement and a good hope in grace, (aiōnios g166)

17 a mu poelye nu kuiika ikomu i nkolo nianyu mu kila lukani nu mulimo nu uza.

comfort your hearts, and establish you in every good work and word.
