< 2 Korintho 7 >
1 Alowa ane, kusoko kukele ulagwi uwa, alikielye usese kikani nilekumile kuushapula imiili ninuinkolo. Hange kuudume uwelu kuuwoa nuang'wi Tunda.
Having therefore these promises, beloved, let us cleanse ourselves from all defilement of flesh and spirit, perfecting holiness in the fear of God.
2 Leki ilyoma kunsoko anyu! Kukeli kumutumuile muntu wihi. Shakumulemaaye muntu wihi. Shakigolepilye kunsao amuntu wihi.
Open your hearts to us: we wronged no man, we corrupted no man, we took advantage of no man.
3 Akulunga ele singa kunisusumilya. Kunsoko nalungekena mukole mitaitu, kitaitu usese kuusha palung'wi nukikie palung'wi.
I say it not to condemn [you]: for I have said before, that ye are in our hearts to die together and live together.
4 Nkete ugimya ukulu mung'waane, hange kitogola kunsoko anyu. Nizuwe nuulowa sunga mulwago litu lehi.
Great is my boldness of speech toward you, great is my glorying on your behalf: I am filled with comfort, I overflow with joy in all our affliction.
5 Aekizile Kumakedonia, imiili itu aemegila anga usupi. Kuleka ite, aekagile kunkika yehi kukuwa embita kunkika akunzi nu woa kunkika namunyumba.
For even when we were come into Macedonia our flesh had no relief, but [we were] afflicted on every side; without [were] fightings, within [were] fears.
6 Kuite Itunda, nuekuila inkani ninza kuawa neamaile insula aeukuie iza kung'wa Tito.
Nevertheless he that comforteth the lowly, [even] God, comforted us by the coming of Titus;
7 Singa aekiza kungwaakwe udu kena Itunda aukuie iza aeituile gwa uuza uo uiito nausingiye kupuma kitalanyu. Nuanso aukuie ulowa nuukulu nemukete ukia wanyu, hange naza mukete uuaeli kunsoko ane. Uu natula nuulowa kukila.
and not by his coming only, but also by the comfort wherewith he was comforted in you, while he told us your longing, your mourning, your zeal for me; so that I rejoiced yet more.
8 Ateze ibada lane aelemusakeeye kusega, unene singa kukuila engali, kuite kukuela engali itungo naenune ibada nelanso aelemutendile unyenye mekatula nuukie kuite aemukete ukia matungo makupi.
For though I made you sorry with my epistle, I do not regret it: though I did regret [it] (for I see that that epistle made you sorry, though but for a season),
9 Itungo ele ndoilwe, singa kunsoko amulide lwago, kuite nsoko aukia wanyu wikamuhugeelya kuungama. Aemuligigwe nuukia wang'wi Tunda, uu aemagigwe singa nekanda kunsoko ilu.
I now rejoice, not that ye were made sorry, but that ye were made sorry unto repentance; for ye were made sorry after a godly sort, that ye might suffer loss by us in nothing.
10 Kunsoko uukia wang'wi Tunda wileta kuungama wipikeelya uguni eze kulile anga ngali. Uukia wamihe, ata uu wileta nsha.
For godly sorrow worketh repentance unto salvation, [a repentance] which bringeth no regret: but the sorrow of the world worketh death.
11 Ugozi uukia wang'wi Tunda aeutugisilye upikeli kee nuukulu mungwaanyu. Aeule uupikeeli naeukulu mung'waanyu kigeela kena aemiagila anga igazo. Aeuli uwai wanyu naeukulu, woa wanyu, ensula anyu, kinyangulu kanyu, ne nsula anyu kugoza kena itai inonee igele! Kukela ikani migeelya unyenye kutula miagila anga igazo.
For behold, this selfsame thing, that ye were made sorry after a godly sort, what earnest care it wrought in you, yea what clearing of yourselves, yea what indignation, yea what fear, yea what longing, yea what zeal, yea what avenging! In everything ye approved yourselves to be pure in the matter.
12 Ateze aemuaandikie unyenye, singa aenumuandekie nsoko alutumo, hange singa kumuntu nuagigwe nuudobu, mandikile nsoko kena etai, ankolo yanyu kunsoko anyu itu ehuma kulengika kitalanyu ntongeela amiho ang'wi Tunda.
So although I wrote unto you, [I wrote] not for his cause that did the wrong, nor for his cause that suffered the wrong, but that your earnest care for us might be made manifest unto you in the sight of God.
13 Kunsoko eye kena huelwe iza. Muwongeeli nuakuelwa uza witu usese kuloilwe gwa, ata kukila ulowa nuang'wa Tito, kunsoko enkolo akwe aeiloeigwe nunyenye meehi.
Therefore we have been comforted: and in our comfort we joyed the more exceedingly for the joy of Titus, because his spirit hath been refreshed by you all.
For if in anything I have gloried to him on your behalf, I was not put to shame; but as we spake all things to you in truth, so our glorying also which I made before Titus was found to be truth.
15 Ulowa wakwe kunsoko anyu ukulu kukila anga uunukembukile ugombi wanyu wihi, naimumusingeeye nuanso kuwoa nukukagata.
And his affection is more abundantly toward you, while he remembereth the obedience of you all, how with fear and trembling ye received him.
16 Ndoilwe kunsoko nkete ugimya nuukondile mukati anyu.
I rejoice that in everything I am of good courage concerning you.
