< 1 Timoteo 5 >

1 Lekakumukenela umugoha numunyampala. Inge mutie umoyo anga Tata ako. Anga nueatia umoyo iakumba niakigoha anga kina aluna ako.
Do not rebuke an older man, but exhort him as a father; the younger men as brothers;
2 Uatie umoyo iasungu niakombi anga aia ako, nianso anga adada ako kuuza wehi.
the older women as mothers; the younger as sisters, in all purity.
3 Akulye niashiewe niagoha ao, awa niashiewe etaitaai.
Honor widows who are widows indeed.
4 Kuite ang'wi nushiewe ukete ana ang'wi inzukulu, aalekehanza amanye kupumya ikulyo kuantu amunyumbao ienso. Aleke aape nialeli ikinyamolimo nikiza, kuite inge inonee ntongela ang'wi Tunda.
But if any widow has children or grandchildren, let them learn first to show piety towards their own family, and to repay their parents, for this is acceptable in the sight of God.
5 Kuite nushiewe taitaai suyu nulekilwe win'wene du. Nung'wenso wezuekile imasigo akwe kung'wi Tunda. Mahiku ehi wikae musela nimalompi utiku numung'wi.
Now she who is a widow indeed, and desolate, has her hope set on God, and continues in petitions and prayers night and day.
6 Ata uu, umusungu uyu nuikie muusambo ukule, hateze ukole mupanga.
But she who gives herself to pleasure is dead while she lives.
7 Hange umatanantya aya imakani aya kina ezeagila nukumelwa.
Also command these things, so that they will be without fault.
8 Ila ang'wi umuntu singaukuitumila eatuma alewe, lukulu awa niakole munyumba akwe, wauhita uuhueli hange mube kukela umuntu nushuhuie.
But if anyone does not provide for his own, and especially his own household, he has denied the faith, and is worse than an unbeliever.
9 Inge gwa umusungu waandekwe muauya anga mushilwa wezeukete myaka nisingaekipungua makumi mutandatu, hange musungu nua mugoha ung'wi.
Let no one be enrolled as a widow under sixty years old, having been the wife of one man,
10 Wezeulengikile kuntendo ninza, watule wezuakee iana, ang'wi wakuile mukende kuageni, ang'wi wogilye imigulu ahueli, ang'wi auaaiye naeagigwa, ang'wi aewipumilye kumilemo ehi namiza.
being approved by good works, if she has brought up children, if she has been hospitable to strangers, if she has washed the saints' feet, if she has relieved the afflicted, and if she has diligently followed every good work.
11 Kuite kuashilwa niahumba, ukite kuchanguela muashilwa auya. Kunsoko angaingele munsula amuile mung'wa Kilisto, akulowa kutinwa.
But refuse younger widows, for whenever their passions lead them away from Meshikha, they desire to marry;
12 Kunzila eye ingila migazo kunsoko ebumanga kipumya kung'wao anga pang'wandyo.
having condemnation, because they have rejected their first pledge.
13 Hange gwa ingila muitumi nuaunegetu. Neanso epilima ito nito. Singa udu kina anegetu, inge emelana, hange ingeila imakani auya. Nianso itambula imakani nishayianonee kumatambula.
Besides, they also learn to be idle, going about from house to house. Not only idle, but also gossips and busybodies, saying things which they ought not.
14 Kuite gwa unene ndoilwe iananso atinwe, atuge iana, imiile imalo ao, nsoko aleke kumupa umulugu ilyoma nilakusemela kutuma umulandu.
I desire therefore that the younger widows marry, bear children, rule the household, and give no occasion to the adversary for reviling.
15 Kunsoko ang'wiao amupilukie umulugu.
For already some have turned aside after Satana.
16 Ang'wi ukole musungu wehi ukete ashilwa, inga waailye, nsoko itekeelo lilekekuhumiligwe, nsoko lihume kuaailya awa niashilwa taitaai.
If any believing woman has widows, she must assist them, and do not let the church be burdened; that it might help those widows who are truly in need.
17 Inge ianyampala awa niisinga iza aaligwe kina anonee kukuligwa nkua yehi, lukulu kuawa neituma kumanyisa ulukani lang'wi Tunda.
Let the elders who rule well be counted worthy of double honor, especially those who labor in the word and in teaching.
18 Kunsoko imaandeko atungile, “Uleke kumemunya umulomo ing'ombe nikilya inolya.” hange “Umitumi unonee kipegwa kakwe.
For the Scripture says, "You shall not muzzle the ox when it treads out the grain." And, "The laborer is worthy of his wages."
19 Leka kusingiilya uusemelwa kuanyampala inge itule akole akueli abiili ang'wi atatu.
Do not receive an accusation against an elder, except at the word of two or three witnesses.
20 Akenele iatumuli ntongeela aantu ehi nsoko niang'wi niasagile kang'wi akogopa.
Those who sin, reprove in the sight of all, that the rest also may be in fear.
21 Nukulagiiye kungulu ntongeela ang'wiTunda, nintongeela ang'wa Yesu Kilisto, niamalaika niatunulwe, kina ulangaile imalagoaya uleke anga ubaguli, nikina uleke kutuma ikanilehi kwakubagula.
I command you in the sight of God, and Meshikha Yeshua, and the chosen angels, that you observe these things without prejudice, doing nothing by partiality.
22 Uleke kukaya kunuekilya umuntu imikono. Uleke kutuma umulandu nua muntu numungiza. Yukunonee kigoza uewe utule wimiza.
Do not ordain anyone hastily, nor participate in the sins of others. Keep yourself pure.
23 Shainonee kung'wa imazi du. Inge gwa, ung'we imagae mashenyi kunsoko anda nuulwae ukole nuakila itungo.
Be no longer a drinker of water only, but use a little wine for your stomach's sake and your frequent infirmities.
24 Imilandu naantu ang'wi igeeleka kwe, nukuatongeela kuulamuli. Kuite imelandu eng'wi ilyala kunyuma.
The sins of some people are obvious, going before them to judgment, but those of others show up later.
25 Kuu uwu, imelimo ing'wi nimiza ilingika kwe, kuite nemingiza shekepikika.
In the same way also there are good works that are obvious, and those that are otherwise cannot be hidden.
