1 Timoteo 1
1 Paulo, Mitumi nuang'wa Yesu Kilisto, kendenkania mlago lang'wi Tunda numuguni witu Yesu Kilisto numugimya witu,
Pavl an Apostle of Iesvs Christ, by the commandement of God our Sauiour, and of our Lord Iesus Christ our hope,
2 kung'wa Timoteo ung'wanane nuatai muuhueli: Nekanda, ukende nuupolo nuupumile kung'wi Tunda Tata nukung'wa Yesu Kilisto Mukulu witu.
Vnto Timotheus my naturall sonne in the faith: Grace, mercy, and peace from God our Father, and from Christ Iesus our Lord.
3 Anga naenukupepeeye naenihegile nikenda kumakedonia, usage kuefeso inge kina uhume kuahama iantu angwi alekekumanyisa umanyisi nuungiza.
As I besought thee to abide still in Ephesus, when I departed into Macedonia, so doe, that thou mayest warne some, that they teach none other doctrine,
4 Hange alekekulegeelya imakumo nuupangi nuaulangi nimagila impelo. Aya isasha kikunguma kukila kuaaelya kulongolesha umupango nuang'wi Tunda nuauhueli.
Neither that they giue heede to fables and genealogies which are endles, which breede questions rather then godly edifying which is by fayth.
5 Inge gwa isigo nelilago ile ulowa nuupumile munkolo ninza, muusigi nuuza numuhueli nuatai.
For the end of the commandement is loue out of a pure heart, and of a good conscience, and of faith vnfained.
6 Ang'wi aantu aliuiye isigo ikaleka uumanyisigwa uwu nukupilukila uligiti nuekepungu.
From the which things some haue erred, and haue turned vnto vaine iangling.
7 Aloilwe kutula amanyisi amalago, kuile shaaine niakulutambula ang'ei niakulukazela.
They would be doctours of the Law, and yet vnderstande not what they speake, neither whereof they affirme.
8 Kuite kuine kina ilago iza angwi umuntu ukulitumila mutaitaii.
And we knowe, that the Law is good, if a man vse it lawfully,
9 Kulengile kina, ilago singaaileikilwe kunsoko amuntu nukele etai, inge kunsoko aunangi ilago niapiluki, antu nesinga akueli hange niakete imilandu agila Itunda hange ashapu (Adobu). Iikilwe kunsoko ao niibulaga Atata niaia ao, kunsoko aabulagi.
Knowing this, that the Lawe is not giuen vnto a righteous man, but vnto the lawles and disobedient, to the vngodly, and to sinners, to the vnholy, and to the prophane, to murtherers of fathers and mothers, to manslayers,
10 Kunsoko akosi, kunsoko aantu niigoolya, kunsoko aawa niiteka iantu nukuatenda atugwa, kunsoko aateele, kunsoko aihengi auteele hangi wihi nukule kensengele nyuma nuulagili nuauhueli.
To whoremongers, to buggerers, to menstealers, to lyers, to the periured, and if there be any other thing, that is contrary to wholesome doctrine,
11 Ulagiili uwu utakanile ninkani ninziza niaukulu wang'wi Tunda nuekembetwa naza kung'wao ehuiwe.
Which is according to the glorious Gospel of the blessed God, which is committed vnto me.
12 Numulumbeye u Yesu Kilisto Mkulu witu. Aeumpee ngulu, kunsoko aeumbaiye unene kulula numuhueli, hange wikambika muwitumi.
Therefore I thanke him, which hath made me strong, that is, Christ Iesus our Lord: for he counted me faithfull, and put me in his seruice:
13 Aeni muntu numumeli, maji hange muntu numulei. Kuite nikapegwa ukende kunsoko aitendile kuupungu singaainikuie.
When before I was a blasphemer, and a persecuter, and an oppresser: but I was receiued to mercie: for I did it ignorantly through vnbeliefe.
14 Kuite ukende nuang'wi Tunda witu wizue uuhueli nuulowa nuukole mung'wa Kilisto u Yesu.
But the grace of our Lord was exceeding abundant with faith and loue, which is in Christ Iesus.
15 Uutung'wa uwu wauhueli hange unonee usingiligwe niantu ehi, kunsoko u Yesu Kilisto auzile muhe kuguna niamilandu. Une numubii kukila ehi.
This is a true saying, and by all meanes worthy to be receiued, that Christ Iesus came into the worlde to saue sinners, of whom I am chiefe.
16 Kuite kunsoko eye une aepegilwe ukende nuukati ane unene, kanziilya ehi, u Yesu Kilisto wigeelye ugimya wehi. Autendile ite anga kilingasiilyo kuehi neikamuhuela nuanso kunsoko aupanga nuakale. (aiōnios g166)
Notwithstanding, for this cause was I receiued to mercie, that Iesus Christ should first shewe on me all long suffering vnto the ensample of them, which shall in time to come beleeue in him vnto eternall life. (aiōnios g166)
17 Nitungeli kumutemi numugila empelo, nisingaukusha nisingukigela, Itunda ung'wenso, itule ikulyo nuukulu nuakale nakale. Hueli. (aiōn g165)
Nowe vnto the King euerlasting, immortall, inuisible, vnto God onely wise, be honour and glorie, for euer, and euer, Amen. (aiōn g165)
18 Kuleika ilagiilyo ile ntongela ako Timoteo, ng'waane. Kutenda ite kuning'aniilya nuunyakidagu naeupumigwe apo pang'wandyo kunsoko ako. Inge utule mumbita ninza.
This commandement commit I vnto thee, sonne Timotheus, according to the prophecies, which went before vpon thee, that thou by them shouldest fight a good fight,
19 Tenda uu inge utule nuuhueli ni sigo niza. Ang'wiao niantu amahitile aya ikaulimilya uuhueli.
Hauing faith and a good conscience, which some haue put away, and as concerning faith, haue made shipwracke.
20 Anga ite Himenayo nu Alekizanda ninamupeza umulugu amanyisigwe alekekumumela.
Of whom is Hymeneus, and Alexander, whom I haue deliuered vnto Satan, that they might learne not to blaspheme.
