1 Thesalonike 4
1 Panyambele, aluna, ku umukinyila nu kumusinja kung'wa Yesu Kristo. Anga nai musingiiye u ulingasiilyi puma ki taitu mpyani ni mutakiwe kugendeela nu kumuloeelya Itunda. Ku nzila yiyo ga mugendeele nu kituma ikilo.
Finally, brothers, we ask and urge you in the Lord Jesus that, just as you learned from us how you ought to walk and to please God, you do so more and more.
2 Ku nsoko mulingile ingi ulingasi kii nai kuminkiiye kukiila Mukulu uYesu.
For you know the commands we gave you by the authority of the Lord Jesus.
3 Kunsoko nanso yayo ulowa nuang'wa Itunda: u weligwa nuanyu - kina mu uhuge u ugoolya,
It is God's will that you be sanctified, that you abstain from fornication,
4 Kina kila ung'wi anyu walinge i mpyani a ku ungatila u musungu nuakwe mukola mu welu nu upolo.
and that each of you know how to control your own body in holiness and honor,
5 Leka kutula nu musungu kunsoko a nsula a muili (anga anyaingu ni shanga amulingile Itunda).
not in lustful passion like the Gentiles who do not know God.
6 Waleke kutula umoli u mutu wihi nuika puta i mimbi nu kumusasha u muluna nuakwe ku nsoko a lukani ulu. Kunsoko uMukulu yuyo mukola kususha ikuo ku makani ihi aya, anga nai katulaa katongelaa kuakania nu kua kuiila.
In this matter no one should wrong or take advantage of his brother, because the Lord is an avenger in all these things, as we told you before and solemnly warned you.
7 Ku nsoko uMukulu shanga ai ukitangile ku ushapu, ila ku welu.
For God did not call us to be impure, but to live in holiness.
8 Ku lulo nuilihitaa ili shanga wiahitaa i antu, ila wimuhitaa Itunda, nuiminkiilya uNg'wau Ng'welu nuakwe.
Therefore whoever rejects this command does not reject man but God, who has given his Holy Spirit to you.
9 Kutula ulowa nua aluna, Kutili i nsula a muntu wihi ku ukilisilya, kunsoko mumanyisigwe nu Itunda kilowa nyenye ku nyenye.
Now concerning brotherly love, you have no need for anyone to write to you, for you yourselves have been taught by God to love one another.
10 Kulu kuulu, ai itumile aya ihi ku aluna niamoli ku Makedonia ihi, kuiti ku umusinja, aluna, mitume ga ni ikilo.
And indeed you do love all the brothers throughout Macedonia. But we urge you, brothers, to do so more and more.
11 Ku umusinja muhung'we nsula kikie likalo nula utigi, kukela i milimo anyu, nu kituma i mulimo ku mikono anyu, anga nai kumusingilye.
We urge you to aspire to lead a quiet life, to attend to your own affairs, and to work with your own hands, just as we commanded you,
12 Itume aya iti uhume kugendeela iziza nu ku upolo ku awo niamoli kunzi a u huiili, iti uleke kukepelwa nu winzi wihi.
so that you may walk properly toward outsiders and not be in need of anything.
13 Shanga kuloilwe unyenye mulinge nishanga tai, unye aluna, migulya a awo ni alae, iti muleke kisusumya anga angiiza ni agila anga kulu kuulu kutula itungo ni lipembilye.
But we do not want you to be uninformed, brothers, about those who have fallen asleep, so that you may not be grieved like others who do not have hope.
14 Anga itule ku uhuiie kina uYesu ai ukule nu kiuuka hangi, iti uu Itunda ukualeta palung'wi nu Yesu awo nialae insha mu ng'waakwe.
For since we believe that Jesus died and rose again, we also believe that God will bring with Jesus those who have fallen asleep in him.
15 Ku nsoko a ayo ku umutambuila u nyenye ku lukani nula Mukulu, kina usese ni kukoli kiapanga, ni kikatula kukoli itungo nila kupembya kitalakwe uMukulu, kulu kuulu shanga kika atongeela awo nialae mu nsha.
According to the word of the Lord, we declare to you that we who are alive, who are left behind until the coming of the Lord, will certainly not precede those who have fallen asleep.
16 Ku nsoko uMukulu mukola ukusima puma mu malunde. Ukupembya nu luli lukulu, palung'wi nu luli nulang'wa malaika nu mukulu, palung'wi ni kinembu kang'wa Itunda, ni enso nai atulaa akuza mung'wa Kristo aki uka hanza.
For the Lord himself will descend from heaven with a commanding shout, with the voice of an archangel, and with the trumpet call of God, and the dead in Christ will rise first.
17 Uugwa usese ni kiapanga, ni kusagile, ki kihanguila mu malunde palung'wi ni enso kumusingiilya uMukulu migulya. Ku nzila iyi ku utula nu Mukulu mahiku ihi.
Then we who are alive, who are left behind, will be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And so we will always be with the Lord.
18 Ku lulo, mi poeelye nyenye ku nyenye ku mukani aya.
Therefore encourage one another with these words.
