1 Yohana 5
1 Wihi nu huiie kina uYesu ingi Kristo utugilwe nu Itunda. Hangi wihi numuloilwe ung'wenso naiza upumile kung'wa Tata wialowaa ga ni ana akwe.
Every one who believes that Jesus is the Christ is a child of God; and every one who loves the Father, loves him also who is the Father’s Child.
2 Ku ili kalingaa kina kualoilwe i ana ang'wa Itunda - ni kimulowaa Itunda nu kituma imalagiilyo akwe.
By this we know that we love the children of God, when we love God and obey his commandments.
3 Iti uu ni kimulowa Itunda kina kiambaa i malagiilyo akwe. ni malagiilyo akwe ingi mapepeele.
For love to God means obeying his commandments; and his commandments are not irksome.
4 Ku nsoko kila nai utugilwe nu Itunda wiukilyaa u unkumbigulu. Hangi uwu wuwo ukilyi nua ku ukilya u unkumbigulu, U huiili nuitu.
For whoever is a child of God is overcoming the world; and our faith is the victory that has overcome the world.
5 Ingi nyenyu nai uukiiye u unkmbigulu? Ingi uyo nu huiie kina uYesu ingi Ng'wana wang'wa Itunda.
And who it the one that is overcoming the world if not the man who believes that Jesus is the Son of God?
6 Uyu yuyo nai uzile ku mazi nu ku sakami- uYesu Kristo. Shanga ai uzile udu ku mazi ila ku mazi ni sakami.
Jesus Christ is he who came by water and blood, not by the water only, but by the water and by the blood. The spirit is he who bears testimony, because the Spirit is the truth.
7 Ku nsoko akoli ataatu ni ikuiila:
For there are three who bear testimony, the Spirit, and the water,
8 Ng'wau Ng'welu, mazi ni sakami. Awa ni ataatu igombyaa. (Komaniilya; Imakani aya, “Tata, Lukani, nu Ng'wau Ng'welu” shanga igeelekile mu mbugulu ni nziza nia kale.)
and the blood; and the three are one.
9 Anga ize kiusingiilya u ukuiili nua ana adamu, u ukuiili nuang'wa Itunda ingi ukulu kukila nuanso. Kunsoko u ukuiili nuang'wa Itunda ingi uwu- kina ukete u ukuiili nui kigendi nu Ng'wana nuakwe.
If we accept men’s testimony, the testimony of God is greater; for this is the testimony of God, that he has borne testimony concerning his Son.
10 uNg'wenso nu muhuiie uNg'wana nuang'wa Itunda ukete u ukuiili mukati akwe mukola. Hangi wihi ni shanga umuhuiie Itunda umuzipilye kutula muteele, ku nsoko shanga uhuiie u ukuiili naza Itunda u uletile kutula Ng'wana nuakwe.
He who believes on the Son of God has the testimony in himself. He who does not believe God, has made him a liar, because he has not believed in the testimony that God has borne concerning his Son.
11 Nu ukuiili ingi wuwu - kina Itunda ai ukinkiiye upanga nua kali na kali, nu upanga uwu umoli mukati a Ng'wana nuakwe. (aiōnios g166)
And the testimony is this, "God has given us eternal life, and this life is in his Son." (aiōnios g166)
12 Numukete u ng'wana ukete u upanga. Nu mugila ung'wana nuang'wa Itunda mugila u upanga.
He who has the Son has the life; he who has not the Son of God has not the life.
13 Nu mukilisiiye aya muhume kulinga kina mukete upanga nua kali na kali - nu nyenye ni muhuiie mu lina ni la Ng'wana nuang'wa Itunda. (aiōnios g166)
I have written these words to you so that you may know that you have eternal life, you who believe in the name of the Son of God. (aiōnios g166)
14 Hangi uwu wuwo ugimya ni ku ukete ntongeela akwe, kina anga kulompe kintu kihi kuniganiila nu ulowa nuakwe, wikijaa.
Now the confidence which we have in him is this, that he listens to us whenever we ask anything that is in accordance with his will.
15 Hangi anga ize kulingile kina wikijaa - kihi ni kimulompaa kulingile kina kukete iko ni kumulompile.
And if we know that he is listening to us in what ever we are asking, we know that we obtain the petitions which we have made to him.
16 Anga u muntu nuimihengaa u muluna nuakwe ukituma u mulandu ni shanga witwalinkiilya insha, imutakiwe kulompa nu Itunda ukumi nkiilya u upanga. Kuligitya ku awo naza umulandu nuao ingi uwo nishanga wiletekeelya insha - ukoli u mulandu nui twali nkiilya insha - shanga kuligitya kina utakiwe kulompa kunsoko a mulandu nuanso.
If any one sees his brother committing a sin that is not deadly, he shall ask, and God will give him life, for any one who is not committing a deadly sin. There is a deadly sin; concerning that I do not say that he should pray.
17 Upiluki wihi ingi mulandu - kuiti ukoli u mulandu ni shanga witwalinkiilya insha.
All unrighteousness is sin; and there is sin that is not deadly.
18 Kulingile kina nutugilwe nu Itunda shanga witumaa i milandu. Ila nutugilwe nu Itunda wi ikwaa nung'wesno iziza ikali, nu uyo u mubii shanga uhumile kumulemaalya.
We know that whoever is a child of God is not habitually committing sin; but he who is God’s child guards himself, and the Evil One never touches him.
19 Kulingile kina usese ki ang'wa Itunda hangi kulingile kina u unkumbigulu wihi ukoli pihi a utemi nua uyo u mubii.
We know that we are of God, and the whole world is lying in the Evil One.
20 Ku iti kulingile kina uNg'wana nuang'wa Itunda ai uzile hangi wakinkiiye u ulingi, kina kumulingile nuanso nua tai ni kina kumoli mukati akwe nuanso nua tai, ga nu mu Ng'wana nuakwe uYesu Kristo. Ingi Itunda nua tai nu upanga nua kali na kali. (aiōnios g166)
And we know that the Son of God is come, and has granted us and understanding, so that we may come to know him who is true. And we are in him who is true, even in his Son Jesus Christ. This is the true God, and life eternal. (aiōnios g166)
21 Ang'yinya alowa, ihuji ni a dudu.
My little children, guard yourselves from idols.
