Wahyu 4
1 Selanjutnya, dalam penampakkan yang terus berlangsung itu saya melihat ke atas. Ada sebuah pintu terbuka di surga, dan saya mendengar suara sekeras bunyi terompet seperti sebelumnya. Suara itu berkata, “Naiklah kemari! Aku akan menunjukkan kepadamu apa yang harus terjadi sesudah ini.”
After all this I looked and saw a door in Heaven standing open, and the voice that I had previously heard, which resembled the blast of a trumpet, again spoke to me and said, "Come up here, and I will show you things which are to happen in the future."
2 Tiba-tiba saya dikuasai Roh Kudus dan saya seakan sudah tiba di surga. Di situ saya melihat takhta Raja, dan Dia Yang Mahakuasa sedang duduk di takhta itu!
Immediately I found myself in the Spirit, and saw a throne in Heaven, and some One sitting on the throne.
3 Takhta-Nya kelihatan seperti batu permata yang berkilau dengan warna merah, hijau, dan beberapa warna lain. Takhta itu juga dikelilingi pelangi yang gemilang seperti batu permata.
The appearance of Him who sat there was like jasper or sard; and encircling the throne was a rainbow, in appearance like an emerald.
4 Di sekeliling takhta-Nya ada dua puluh empat takhta lain yang diduduki oleh dua puluh empat pemimpin berjubah putih dan bermahkota emas.
Surrounding the throne there were also twenty-four other thrones, on which sat twenty-four Elders clothed in white robes, with victors' wreaths of gold upon their heads.
5 Takhta Raja Yang Mahakuasa itu memancarkan kilat disertai bunyi-bunyi guntur dan gemuruh yang keras. Di hadapan takhta-Nya ada tujuh obor menyala, yang menggambarkan seluruh kekuatan Roh Allah.
Out from the throne there came flashes of lightning, and voices, and peals of thunder, while in front of the throne seven blazing lamps were burning, which are the seven Spirits of God.
6 Di hadapan takhta itu ada juga sesuatu seperti lautan kaca yang bening bagaikan kristal. Dekat sekali dengan keempat sisi takhta-Nya ada empat makhluk hidup yang mempunyai banyak mata di seluruh tubuh mereka, baik di depan maupun di belakang.
And in front of the throne there seemed to be a sea of glass, resembling crystal. And midway between the throne and the Elders, and surrounding the throne, were four living creatures, full of eyes in front and behind.
7 Makhluk yang pertama seperti singa, yang kedua seperti kerbau jantan, yang ketiga mukanya seperti muka manusia, dan yang keempat seperti burung rajawali dengan sayap terbuka lebar seperti sedang terbang.
The first living creature resembled a lion, the second an ox, the third had a face like that of a man, and the fourth resembled an eagle flying.
8 Keempat makhluk hidup itu masing-masing mempunyai enam sayap, dan seluruh tubuh mereka dipenuhi banyak mata, bahkan di bagian dalam sayapnya. Siang malam mereka bernyanyi tanpa henti, “Kudus, kudus, kuduslah TUHAN Allah Yang Mahakuasa! Dia Allah yang hidup, yang sudah ada sebelum penciptaan sampai sekarang, dan yang akan terus ada selama-lamanya.”
And each of the four living creatures had six wings, and in every direction, and within, are full of eyes; and day after day, and night after night, they never cease saying, "Holy, holy, holy, Lord God, the Ruler of all, who wast and art and evermore shalt be."
9 Sewaktu kedua puluh empat pemimpin tadi mendengar para makhluk itu menyanyikan pujian, hormat, dan ucapan syukur kepada Dia yang hidup sampai selama-lamanya, mereka juga berulang kali sujud menyembah di hadapan Dia yang duduk di takhta itu. (aiōn g165)
And whenever the living creatures give glory and honor and thanks to Him who is seated on the throne, and lives until the Ages of the Ages, (aiōn g165)
10 Lalu mereka menaruh mahkota mereka masing-masing di hadapan takhta-Nya sebagai tanda bahwa segala kemuliaan hanyalah milik-Nya, sembari bernyanyi, (aiōn g165)
the twenty-four Elders fall down before Him who sits on the throne and worship Him who lives until the Ages of the Ages, and they cast their wreaths down in front of the throne, (aiōn g165)
11 “Ya TUHAN Allah kami, Engkaulah satu-satunya yang kudus. Engkau layak menerima pujian, hormat, dan kuasa, karena Engkaulah yang menciptakan segala sesuatu! Segala sesuatu itu diciptakan dan tetap ada hanya karena kehendak-Mu.”
saying, "It is fitting, O our Lord and God, That we should ascribe unto Thee the glory and the honor and the power; For Thou didst create all things, And because it was Thy will they came into existence, and were created."
