Keluaran 11
1 TUHAN berkata kepada Musa, “Masih ada satu bencana lagi yang akan Aku datangkan pada raja Mesir dan rakyatnya. Sesudah itu, raja akan membiarkan kalian pergi. Waktu dia melepas kalian pergi, dia benar-benar akan mengusir kalian dari tempat ini.
And the Lord seide to Moises, Yit Y schal touche Farao and Egipt with o veniaunce, and after these thingis he schal delyuere you, and schal constreyne you to go out.
2 Sekarang suruhlah umat Israel meminta perhiasan emas dan perak dari para tetangga mereka yang orang Mesir.”
Therfor thou schalt seie to al the puple, that a man axe of his freend, and a womman of hir neiyboresse, silueren vessels and goldun, and clothis;
3 TUHAN membuat orang-orang Mesir bermurah hati kepada umat Israel, bahkan Musa sangat dihormati oleh para pejabat dan rakyat Mesir.
forsothe the Lord schal yyue grace to his puple bifor Egipcians. And Moises was a ful greet man in the lond of Egipt, bifore the seruauntis of Farao and al the puple;
4 Kemudian Musa menghadap raja dan berkata, “TUHAN mengatakan bahwa sekitar tengah malam nanti, Dia akan mengelilingi seluruh negeri.
and he seide, The Lord seith these thingis, At mydnyyt Y schal entre in to Egipt;
5 Setiap anak laki-laki sulung di negeri Mesir akan mati, mulai dari anak sulungmu yang akan duduk di takhtamu, sampai anak sulung budak perempuan yang menggiling gandum. Selain itu, anak sulung jantan dari semua ternak juga akan mati.
and ech firste gendrid thing in the lond of Egipcians schal die, fro the firste gendrid of Farao, that sittith in the trone of hym, til to the firste gendrid of the handmayde, which is at the querne; and alle the firste gendrid of beestis schulen die;
6 Di seluruh Mesir akan terdengar ratapan yang begitu keras, yang belum pernah terjadi sebelumnya dan tidak akan pernah terjadi lagi.
and greet cry schal be in al the lond of Egipt, which maner cry was not bifore, nether schal be aftirward.
7 Tetapi bangsa Israel akan tetap aman, bahkan seekor anjing pun tidak akan menggonggong kepada mereka ataupun hewan mereka, supaya engkau tahu bahwa TUHANlah yang sudah memperlakukan umat Israel berbeda dengan rakyat Mesir.
Forsothe at alle the children of Israel a dogge schal not make priuy noise, fro man til to beeste; that ye wite bi how greet myracle the Lord departith Egipcians and Israel.
8 Semua pejabatmu akan datang bersujud di hadapan saya untuk memohon, ‘Tolong pergilah bersama seluruh umat Israel.’ Sesudah itu kami akan pergi.” Lalu dengan sangat marah Musa meninggalkan raja.
And alle these thi seruauntis schulen come doun to me, and thei schulen preye me, and schulen seie, Go out thou, and al the puple which is suget to thee; aftir these thingis we schulen go out.
9 Sebelumnya, TUHAN sudah berkata kepada Musa, “Raja Mesir tidak akan mempedulikan perkataan kalian berdua. Hal itu terjadi supaya Aku dapat mengadakan banyak keajaiban di Mesir.”
And Moyses was ful wrooth, and yede out fro Farao. Forsothe the Lord seide to Moises, Farao schal not here you, that many signes be maad in the lond of Egipt.
10 Musa dan Harun melakukan semua keajaiban itu di hadapan raja Mesir, tetapi TUHAN mengeraskan hati raja sehingga dia tetap bersikeras untuk tidak membiarkan umat Israel pergi dari negerinya.
Sotheli Moises and Aaron maden alle signes and wondris, that ben writun, bifor Farao; and the Lord made hard the herte of Farao, nether he delyuerede the sones of Israel fro his lond.
