Mazmur 46
1 Untuk pemimpin biduan. Dari bani Korah. Dengan lagu: Alamot. Nyanyian. Allah itu bagi kita tempat perlindungan dan kekuatan, sebagai penolong dalam kesesakan sangat terbukti.
For the Leader; a Psalm of the sons of Korah; upon Alamoth. A Song. God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble.
2 Sebab itu kita tidak akan takut, sekalipun bumi berubah, sekalipun gunung-gunung goncang di dalam laut;
Therefore will we not fear, though the earth do change, and though the mountains be moved into the heart of the seas;
3 sekalipun ribut dan berbuih airnya, sekalipun gunung-gunung goyang oleh geloranya. (Sela)
Though the waters thereof roar and foam, though the mountains shake at the swelling thereof. (Selah)
4 Kota Allah, kediaman Yang Mahatinggi, disukakan oleh aliran-aliran sebuah sungai.
There is a river, the streams whereof make glad the city of God, the holiest dwelling-place of the Most High.
5 Allah ada di dalamnya, kota itu tidak akan goncang; Allah akan menolongnya menjelang pagi.
God is in the midst of her, she shall not be moved; God shall help her, at the approach of morning.
6 Bangsa-bangsa ribut, kerajaan-kerajaan goncang, Ia memperdengarkan suara-Nya, dan bumipun hancur.
Nations were in tumult, kingdoms were moved; He uttered His voice, the earth melted.
7 TUHAN semesta alam menyertai kita, kota benteng kita ialah Allah Yakub. (Sela)
The LORD of hosts is with us; the God of Jacob is our high tower. (Selah)
8 Pergilah, pandanglah pekerjaan TUHAN, yang mengadakan pemusnahan di bumi,
Come, behold the works of the LORD, who hath made desolations in the earth.
9 yang menghentikan peperangan sampai ke ujung bumi, yang mematahkan busur panah, menumpulkan tombak, membakar kereta-kereta perang dengan api!
He maketh wars to cease unto the end of the earth; He breaketh the bow, and cutteth the spear in sunder; He burneth the chariots in the fire.
10 "Diamlah dan ketahuilah, bahwa Akulah Allah! Aku ditinggikan di antara bangsa-bangsa, ditinggikan di bumi!"
'Let be, and know that I am God; I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth.'
11 TUHAN semesta alam menyertai kita, kota benteng kita ialah Allah Yakub. (Sela)
