Mazmur 146
1 Haleluya! Pujilah TUHAN, hai jiwaku!
Praise Yahweh! With my whole inner being I will praise Yahweh.
2 Aku hendak memuliakan TUHAN selama aku hidup, dan bermazmur bagi Allahku selagi aku ada.
I will praise Yahweh as long as I am alive; I will sing to praise my God for [the rest of] my life.
3 Janganlah percaya kepada para bangsawan, kepada anak manusia yang tidak dapat memberikan keselamatan.
[You people], do not trust in your leaders; do not trust humans because they cannot save/rescue you [from your difficulties/problems].
4 Apabila nyawanya melayang, ia kembali ke tanah; pada hari itu juga lenyaplah maksud-maksudnya.
And when they die, their corpses [decay and] become soil again. After they die, they can no longer do the things that they planned to do.
5 Berbahagialah orang yang mempunyai Allah Yakub sebagai penolong, yang harapannya pada TUHAN, Allahnya:
But those whose helper is the God whom Jacob [worshiped] are happy. The one whom they confidently expect [to help them] is Yahweh, their God.
6 Dia yang menjadikan langit dan bumi, laut dan segala isinya; yang tetap setia untuk selama-lamanya,
He is the one who created heaven and the earth and the oceans and all [the creatures] that are in them. He always does what he has promised to do.
7 yang menegakkan keadilan untuk orang-orang yang diperas, yang memberi roti kepada orang-orang yang lapar. TUHAN membebaskan orang-orang yang terkurung,
He decides matters fairly for those who are (treated unfairly/oppressed), and he provides food for those who are hungry. He frees those who are in prison.
8 TUHAN membuka mata orang-orang buta, TUHAN menegakkan orang yang tertunduk, TUHAN mengasihi orang-orang benar.
Yahweh enables those who are blind to see again. He lifts up those who have fallen down. He loves righteous [people].
9 TUHAN menjaga orang-orang asing, anak yatim dan janda ditegakkan-Nya kembali, tetapi jalan orang fasik dibengkokkan-Nya.
Yahweh takes care of those from other countries who live in our land, and he helps widows and orphans. But he gets rid of wicked [people].
10 TUHAN itu Raja untuk selama-lamanya, Allahmu, ya Sion, turun-temurun! Haleluya!
Yahweh will [continue to] be our king forever; you people of Israel, your God will rule forever! Praise Yahweh!
