Mazmur 13

1 Untuk pemimpin biduan. Mazmur Daud. Berapa lama lagi, TUHAN, Kaulupakan aku terus-menerus? Berapa lama lagi Kausembunyikan wajah-Mu terhadap aku?

Unto the end, a psalm for David. How long, O Lord, wilt thou forget me unto the end? how long dost thou turn away thy face from me?

2 Berapa lama lagi aku harus menaruh kekuatiran dalam diriku, dan bersedih hati sepanjang hari? Berapa lama lagi musuhku meninggikan diri atasku?

How long shall I take counsels in my soul, sorrow in my heart all the day?

3 Pandanglah kiranya, jawablah aku, ya TUHAN, Allahku! Buatlah mataku bercahaya, supaya jangan aku tertidur dan mati,

How long shall my enemy be exalted over me?

4 supaya musuhku jangan berkata: "Aku telah mengalahkan dia," dan lawan-lawanku bersorak-sorak, apabila aku goyah.

Consider, and hear me, O Lord my God. Enlighten my eyes that I never sleep in death:

5 (13-6a) Tetapi aku, kepada kasih setia-Mu aku percaya, hatiku bersorak-sorak karena penyelamatan-Mu.

Lest at any time my enemy say: I have prevailed against him. They that trouble me will rejoice when I am moved:

6 (13-6b) Aku mau menyanyi untuk TUHAN, karena Ia telah berbuat baik kepadaku.

But I have trusted in thy mercy. My heart shall rejoice in thy salvation: I will sing to the Lord, who giveth me good things: yea I will sing to the name of the Lord the most high.
