Mazmur 106
1 Haleluya! Bersyukurlah kepada TUHAN, sebab Ia baik! Bahwasanya untuk selama-lamanya kasih setia-Nya.
Praise ye the Lord. Praise ye the Lord because he is good, for his mercie endureth for euer.
2 Siapakah yang dapat memberitahukan keperkasaan TUHAN, memperdengarkan segala pujian kepada-Nya?
Who can expresse the noble actes of the Lord, or shewe forth all his prayse?
3 Berbahagialah orang-orang yang berpegang pada hukum, yang melakukan keadilan di segala waktu!
Blessed are they that keepe iudgement, and doe righteousnesse at all times.
4 Ingatlah aku, ya TUHAN, demi kemurahan terhadap umat-Mu, perhatikanlah aku, demi keselamatan dari pada-Mu,
Remember me, O Lord, with the fauour of thy people: visite me with thy saluation,
5 supaya aku melihat kebaikan pada orang-orang pilihan-Mu, supaya aku bersukacita dalam sukacita umat-Mu, dan supaya aku bermegah bersama-sama milik-Mu sendiri.
That I may see the felicitie of thy chosen, and reioyce in the ioy of thy people, and glorie with thine inheritance.
6 Kami dan nenek moyang kami telah berbuat dosa, kami telah bersalah, telah berbuat fasik.
We haue sinned with our fathers: we haue committed iniquitie, and done wickedly.
7 Nenek moyang kami di Mesir tidak mengerti perbuatan-perbuatan-Mu yang ajaib, tidak ingat besarnya kasih setia-Mu, tetapi mereka memberontak terhadap Yang Mahatinggi di tepi Laut Teberau.
Our fathers vnderstoode not thy wonders in Egypt, neither remembred they the multitude of thy mercies, but rebelled at the Sea, euen at the red sea.
8 Namun diselamatkan-Nya mereka oleh karena nama-Nya, untuk memperkenalkan keperkasaan-Nya.
Neuerthelesse he saued them for his Names sake, that he might make his power to be knowen.
9 Dihardik-Nya Laut Teberau, sehingga kering, dibawa-Nya mereka berjalan melalui samudera raya seperti melalui padang gurun.
And he rebuked the red Sea, and it was dryed vp, and he led them in the deepe, as in the wildernesse.
10 Demikian diselamatkan-Nya mereka dari tangan pembenci, ditebus-Nya mereka dari tangan musuh;
And he saued them from ye aduersaries hand, and deliuered them from ye hand of the enemie.
11 air menutupi para lawan mereka, seorangpun dari pada mereka tiada tinggal.
And the waters couered their oppressours: not one of them was left.
12 Ketika itu percayalah mereka kepada segala firman-Nya, mereka menyanyikan puji-pujian kepada-Nya.
Then beleeued they his wordes, and sang prayse vnto him.
13 Tetapi segera mereka melupakan perbuatan-perbuatan-Nya, dan tidak menantikan nasihat-Nya;
But incontinently they forgate his workes: they wayted not for his counsell,
14 mereka dirangsang nafsu di padang gurun, dan mencobai Allah di padang belantara.
But lusted with concupiscence in the wildernes, and tempted God in the desert.
15 Diberikan-Nya kepada mereka apa yang mereka minta, dan didatangkan-Nya penyakit paru-paru di antara mereka.
Then he gaue them their desire: but he sent leannesse into their soule.
16 Mereka cemburu kepada Musa di perkemahan, dan kepada Harun, orang kudus TUHAN.
They enuied Moses also in the tentes, and Aaron the holy one of the Lord.
17 Bumi terbuka dan menelan Datan, menutupi kumpulan Abiram.
Therefore the earth opened and swallowed vp Dathan, and couered the companie of Abiram.
18 Api menyala di kalangan mereka, nyala api menghanguskan orang-orang fasik itu.
And the fire was kindled in their assembly: the flame burnt vp the wicked.
19 Mereka membuat anak lembu di Horeb, dan sujud menyembah kepada patung tuangan;
They made a calfe in Horeb, and worshipped the molten image.
20 mereka menukar Kemuliaan mereka dengan bangunan sapi jantan yang makan rumput.
Thus they turned their glory into the similitude of a bullocke, that eateth grasse.
21 Mereka melupakan Allah yang telah menyelamatkan mereka, yang telah melakukan hal-hal yang besar di Mesir:
They forgate God their Sauiour, which had done great things in Egypt,
22 perbuatan-perbuatan ajaib di tanah Ham, perbuatan-perbuatan dahsyat di tepi Laut Teberau.
Wonderous woorkes in the lande of Ham, and fearefull things by the red Sea.
23 Maka Ia mengatakan hendak memusnahkan mereka, kalau Musa, orang pilihan-Nya, tidak mengetengahi di hadapan-Nya, untuk menyurutkan amarah-Nya, sehingga Ia tidak memusnahkan mereka.
Therefore he minded to destroy them, had not Moses his chosen stand in the breach before him to turne away his wrath, least he shoulde destroy them.
24 Mereka menolak negeri yang indah itu, tidak percaya kepada firman-Nya.
Also they contemned that pleasant land, and beleeued not his worde,
25 Mereka menggerutu di kemahnya dan tidak mendengarkan suara TUHAN.
But murmured in their tentes, and hearkened not vnto the voice of the Lord.
26 Lalu Ia mengangkat tangan-Nya terhadap mereka untuk meruntuhkan mereka di padang gurun,
Therefore hee lifted vp his hande against them, to destroy them in the wildernesse,
27 dan untuk mencerai-beraikan anak cucu mereka ke antara bangsa-bangsa, dan menyerakkan mereka ke pelbagai negeri.
And to destroy their seede among the nations, and to scatter them throughout the countries.
28 Mereka berpaut pada Baal Peor, dan memakan korban-korban sembelihan bagi orang mati.
They ioyned themselues also vnto Baalpeor, and did eate the offrings of the dead.
29 Mereka menyakiti hati-Nya dengan perbuatan mereka, maka timbullah tulah di antara mereka.
Thus they prouoked him vnto anger with their owne inuentions, and the plague brake in vpon them.
30 Tetapi Pinehas berdiri dan menjalankan hukum, maka berhentilah tulah itu.
But Phinehas stoode vp, and executed iudgement, and the plague was staied.
31 Hal itu diperhitungkan kepadanya sebagai jasa turun-temurun, untuk selama-lamanya.
And it was imputed vnto him for righteousnes from generation to generation for euer.
32 Mereka menggusarkan Dia dekat air Meriba, sehingga Musa kena celaka karena mereka;
They angred him also at the waters of Meribah, so that Moses was punished for their sakes,
33 sebab mereka memahitkan hatinya, sehingga ia teledor dengan kata-katanya.
Because they vexed his spirite, so that hee spake vnaduisedly with his lippes.
34 Mereka tidak memunahkan bangsa-bangsa, seperti yang diperintahkan TUHAN kepada mereka,
Neither destroied they the people, as the Lord had commanded them,
35 tetapi mereka bercampur baur dengan bangsa-bangsa, dan belajar cara-cara mereka bekerja.
But were mingled among the heathen, and learned their workes,
36 Mereka beribadah kepada berhala-berhala mereka, yang menjadi perangkap bagi mereka.
And serued their idoles, which were their ruine.
37 Mereka mengorbankan anak-anak lelaki mereka, dan anak-anak perempuan mereka kepada roh-roh jahat,
Yea, they offered their sonnes, and their daughters vnto deuils,
38 dan menumpahkan darah orang yang tak bersalah, darah anak-anak lelaki dan anak-anak perempuan mereka, yang mereka korbankan kepada berhala-berhala Kanaan, sehingga negeri itu cemar oleh hutang darah.
And shed innocent blood, euen the blood of their sonnes, and of their daughters, whome they offred vnto the idoles of Canaan, and the lande was defiled with blood.
39 Mereka menajiskan diri dengan apa yang mereka lakukan, dan berzinah dalam perbuatan-perbuatan mereka.
Thus were they steined with their owne woorkes, and went a whoring with their owne inuentions.
40 Maka menyalalah murka TUHAN terhadap umat-Nya, dan Ia jijik kepada milik-Nya sendiri.
Therefore was the wrath of the Lord kindled against his people, and he abhorred his owne inheritance.
41 Diserahkan-Nyalah mereka ke tangan bangsa-bangsa, sehingga orang-orang yang membenci mereka berkuasa atas mereka.
And hee gaue them into the hande of the heathen: and they that hated them, were lordes ouer them.
42 Mereka diimpit oleh musuhnya, sehingga takluk ke bawah kuasanya.
Their enemies also oppressed them, and they were humbled vnder their hand.
43 Banyak kali dilepaskan-Nya mereka, tetapi mereka bersikap memberontak dengan rencana-rencana mereka, tenggelam dalam kesalahan mereka.
Many a time did hee deliuer them, but they prouoked him by their counsels: therefore they were brought downe by their iniquitie.
44 Namun Ia menilik kesusahan mereka, ketika Ia mendengar teriak mereka.
Yet hee sawe when they were in affliction, and he heard their crie.
45 Ia ingat akan perjanjian-Nya karena mereka, dan menyesal sesuai dengan kasih setia-Nya yang besar.
And he remembred his couenant towarde them and repented according to the multitude of his mercies,
46 Diberi-Nya mereka mendapat rahmat dari pihak semua orang yang menawan mereka.
And gaue them fauour in the sight of all them that lead them captiues.
47 Selamatkanlah kami, ya TUHAN, Allah kami, dan kumpulkanlah kami dari antara bangsa-bangsa, supaya kami bersyukur kepada nama-Mu yang kudus, dan bermegah dalam puji-pujian kepada-Mu.
Saue vs, O Lord our God, and gather vs from among the heathen, that we may praise thine holy Name, and glorie in thy praise.
48 Terpujilah TUHAN, Allah Israel, dari selama-lamanya sampai selama-lamanya, dan biarlah seluruh umat mengatakan: "Amin!" Haleluya!
Blessed be the Lord God of Israel for euer and euer, and let all the people say, So be it. Praise yee the Lord.
