Nehemia 7
1 Setelah tembok selesai dibangun, aku memasang pintu-pintu. Lalu diangkatlah penunggu-penunggu pintu gerbang, para penyanyi dan orang-orang Lewi.
Nowe when the wall was builded, and I had set vp the doores, and the porters, and the singers and the Leuites were appointed,
2 Pengawasan atas Yerusalem aku serahkan kepada Hanani, saudaraku, dan kepada Hananya, panglima benteng, karena dia seorang yang dapat dipercaya dan yang takut akan Allah lebih dari pada orang-orang lain.
Then I commanded my brother Hanani and Hananiah the prince of the palace in Ierusalem (for he was doubtlesse a faithfull man, and feared God aboue many)
3 Berkatalah aku kepada mereka: "Pintu-pintu gerbang Yerusalem jangan dibuka sampai matahari panas terik. Dan pintu-pintunya harus ditutup dan dipalangi, sementara orang masih bertugas di tempatnya. Tempatkanlah penjaga-penjaga dari antara penduduk Yerusalem, masing-masing pada tempat-tempat penjagaan dan di depan rumahnya."
And I saide vnto them, Let not the gates of Ierusalem be opened, vntill the heate of the sunne: and while they stande by, let them shut the doores, and make them fast: and I appointed wardes of the inhabitants of Ierusalem, euery one in his warde, and euery one ouer against his house.
4 Adapun kota itu luas dan besar, tetapi penduduknya sedikit dan rumah-rumah belum dibangun.
Nowe the citie was large and great, but the people were few therein, and the houses were not buylded.
5 Maka Allahku memberikan dalam hatiku rencana untuk mengumpulkan para pemuka, para penguasa dan rakyat, supaya mereka dicatat dalam silsilah. Lalu kudapati daftar silsilah orang-orang yang lebih dahulu berangkat pulang. Dalam daftar itu kudapati tertulis:
And my God put into mine heart, and I gathered the princes, and the rulers, and the people, to count their genealogies: and I found a booke of the genealogie of them, which came vp at the first, and found written therein,
6 Inilah orang-orang propinsi Yehuda yang berangkat pulang dari pembuangan, yakni para tawanan, yang dahulu diangkut oleh Nebukadnezar, raja Babel, dan yang kembali ke Yerusalem dan ke Yehuda, masing-masing ke kotanya.
These are the sonnes of the prouince that came vp from the captiuitie that was caried away (whome Nebuchadnezzar King of Babel had caryed away) and they returned to Ierusalem and to Iudah, euery one vnto his citie.
7 Mereka datang bersama-sama Zerubabel, Yesua, Nehemia, Azarya, Raamya, Nahamani, Mordekhai, Bilsan, Misperet, Bigwai, Nehum dan Baana. Inilah daftar orang-orang bangsa Israel:
They which came with Zerubbabel, Ieshua, Nehemiah, Azariah, Raamiah, Nahamani, Mordecai, Bilshan, Mispereth, Biguai, Nehum, Baanah. This is the nomber of the men of the people of Israel.
8 bani Paros: dua ribu seratus tujuh puluh dua orang;
The sonnes of Parosh, two thousande an hundreth seuentie and two.
9 bani Sefaca: tiga ratus tujuh puluh dua orang;
The sonnes of Shephatiah, three hundreth seuentie and two.
10 bani Arakh: enam ratus lima puluh dua orang;
The sonnes of Arah, sixe hundreth fiftie and two.
11 bani Pahat-Moab, yakni bani Yesua dan Yoab: dua ribu delapan ratus delapan belas orang;
The sonnes of Pahath Moab of ye sonnes of Ieshua, and Ioab, two thousand, eight hundreth and eighteene.
12 bani Elam: seribu dua ratus lima puluh empat orang;
The sonnes of Elam, a thousand, two hundreth fiftie and foure.
13 bani Zatu: delapan ratus empat puluh lima orang;
The sonnes of Zattu, eight hundreth and fiue and fourtie.
14 bani Zakai: tujuh ratus enam puluh orang;
The sonnes of Zacchai, seuen hundreth and three score.
15 bani Binui: enam ratus empat puluh delapan orang;
The sonnes of Binnui, sixe hundreth and eight and fourtie.
16 bani Bebai: enam ratus dua puluh delapan orang;
The sonnes of Bebai, sixe hundreth and eight and twentie.
17 bani Azgad: dua ribu tiga ratus dua puluh dua orang;
The sonnes of Azgad, two thousand, three hundreth and two and twentie.
18 bani Adonikam: enam ratus enam puluh tujuh orang;
The sonnes of Adonikam, sixe hundreth three score and seuen.
19 bani Bigwai: dua ribu enam puluh tujuh orang;
The sonnes of Biguai, two thousand three score and seuen.
20 bani Adin: enam ratus lima puluh lima orang;
The sonnes of Adin, sixe hundreth, and fiue and fiftie.
21 bani Ater, yakni bani Hizkia: sembilan puluh delapan orang;
The sonnes of Ater of Hizkiah, ninetie and eight.
22 bani Hasum: tiga ratus dua puluh delapan orang;
The sonnes of Hashum, three hundreth and eight and twentie.
23 bani Bezai: tiga ratus dua puluh empat orang;
The sonnes of Bezai, three hundreth and foure and twentie.
24 bani Harif: seratus dua belas orang;
The sonnes of Hariph, an hundreth and twelue.
25 bani Gibeon: sembilan puluh lima orang;
The sonnes of Gibeon, ninetie and fiue.
26 orang-orang Betlehem dan Netofa: seratus delapan puluh delapan orang;
The men of Beth-lehem and Netophah, an hundreth foure score and eight.
27 orang-orang Anatot: seratus dua puluh delapan orang;
The men of Anathoth, an hundreth and eight and twentie.
28 orang-orang Bet-Azmawet: empat puluh dua orang;
The me of Beth-azmaueth, two and fourty.
29 orang-orang Kiryat-Yearim, Kefira dan Beerot: tujuh ratus empat puluh tiga orang;
The men of Kiriath-iearim, Chephirah and Beeroth, seuen hundreth, and three and fourtie.
30 orang-orang Rama dan Gaba: enam ratus dua puluh satu orang;
The men of Ramah and Gaba, sixe hundreth and one and twentie.
31 orang-orang Mikhmas: seratus dua puluh dua orang;
The men of Michmas, an hundreth and two and twentie.
32 orang-orang Betel dan Ai: seratus dua puluh tiga orang;
The men of Beth-el and Ai, an hundreth and three and twentie.
33 orang-orang dari Nebo yang lain: lima puluh dua orang;
The men of the other Nebo, two and fifty.
34 bani Elam, yakni Elam yang lain: seribu dua ratus lima puluh empat orang;
The sonnes of the other Elam, a thousand, two hundreth and foure and fiftie.
35 bani Harim: tiga ratus dua puluh orang;
The sonnes of Harim, three hundreth and twentie.
36 orang-orang Yerikho: tiga ratus empat puluh lima orang;
The sonnes of Iericho, three hundreth and fiue and fourtie.
37 orang-orang Lod, Hadid dan Ono: tujuh ratus dua puluh satu orang;
The sonnes of Lod-hadid and Ono, seuen hundreth and one and twentie.
38 bani Senaa: tiga ribu sembilan ratus tiga puluh orang.
The sonnes of Senaah, three thousand, nine hundreth and thirtie.
39 Inilah para imam: bani Yedaya, yakni kaum keluarga Yesua: sembilan ratus tujuh puluh tiga orang;
The Priestes: the sonnes of Iedaiah of the house of Ieshua, nine hundreth seuentie and three.
40 bani Imer: seribu lima puluh dua orang;
The sonnes of Immer, a thousand and two and fiftie.
41 bani Pasyhur: seribu dua ratus empat puluh tujuh orang;
The sonnes of Pashur, a thousande, two hundreth and seuen and fourtie.
42 bani Harim: seribu tujuh belas orang.
The sonnes of Harim, a thousande and seuenteene.
43 Inilah orang-orang Lewi: bani Yesua, yakni bani Kadmiel dan bani Hodewa; tujuh puluh empat orang.
The Leuites: the sonnes of Ieshua of Kadmiel, and of the sonnes of Hodiuah, seuentie and foure.
44 Inilah para penyanyi: bani Asaf: seratus empat puluh delapan orang.
The singers: the children of Asaph, an hundreth, and eight and fourtie.
45 Inilah para penunggu pintu gerbang: bani Salum, bani Ater, bani Talmon, bani Akub, bani Hatita, bani Sobai: seratus tiga puluh delapan orang.
The porters: the sonnes of Shallum, the sonnes of Ater, the sonnes of Talmon, the sonnes of Akkub, the sonnes of Hatita, the sonnes of Shobai, an hundreth and eight and thirtie.
46 Inilah para budak di bait Allah: bani Ziha, bani Hasufa, bani Tabaot;
The Nethinims: the sonnes of Ziha, the sonnes of Hashupha, the sonnes of Tabaoth,
47 bani Keros, bani Sia, bani Padon;
The sonnes of Keros, the sonnes of Sia, the sonnes of Padon,
48 bani Lebana, bani Hagaba, bani Salmai;
The sonnes of Lebana, the sonnes of Hagaba, the sonnes of Shalmai,
49 bani Hanan, bani Gidel, bani Gahar;
The sonnes of Hanan, the sonnes of Giddel, the sonnes of Gahar,
50 bani Reaya, bani Rezin, bani Nekoda;
The sonnes of Reaiah, the sonnes of Rezin, the sonnes of Nekoda,
51 bani Gazam, bani Uza, bani Paseah;
The sonnes of Gazzam, ye sonnes of Vzza, the sonnes of Paseah,
52 bani Besai, bani Meunim, bani Nefusim;
The sonnes of Besai, the sonnes of Meunim, the sonnes of Nephishesim,
53 bani Bakbuk, bani Hakufa, bani Harhur;
The sonnes of Bakbuk, the sonnes of Hakupha, the sonnes of Harhur,
54 bani Bazlit, bani Mehida, bani Harsa;
The sonnes of Bazlith, the sonnes of Mehida, the sonnes of Harsha,
55 bani Barkos, bani Sisera, bani Temah;
The sonnes of Barkos, the sonnes of Sissera, the sonnes of Tamah,
56 bani Neziah, bani Hatifa.
The sonnes of Neziah, the sonnes of Hatipha,
57 Inilah keturunan para hamba Salomo: bani Sotai, bani Soferet, bani Perida;
The sonnes of Salomons seruantes, the sonnes of Sotai, the sonnes of Sophereth, ye sonnes of Perida,
58 bani Yaala, bani Darkon, bani Gidel;
The sonnes of Iaala, the sonnes of Darkon, the sonnes of Giddel,
59 bani Sefaca, bani Hatil, bani Pokheret-Hazebaim, bani Amon.
The sonnes of Shephatiah, the sonnes of Hattil, the sonnes of Pochereth of Zebaim, the sonnes of Amon.
60 Seluruh budak di bait Allah dan keturunan para hamba Salomo ada tiga ratus sembilan puluh dua orang.
All the Nethinims, and the sonnes of Salomons seruantes were three hundreth, ninetie and two.
61 Inilah orang-orang yang berangkat pulang dari Tel-Melah, Tel-Harsa, Kerub, Adon dan Imer, tetapi mereka tidak dapat menyatakan apakah kaum keluarga dan asal-usul mereka termasuk bangsa Israel:
And these came vp from Tel-melah, Tel-haresha, Cherub, Addon, and Immer: but they could not shewe their fathers house, nor their seede, or if they were of Israel.
62 bani Delaya, bani Tobia, bani Nekoda: enam ratus empat puluh dua orang;
The sonnes of Delaiah: the sonnes of Tobiah, the sonnes of Nekoda, six hundreth and two and fourtie.
63 dan dari antara para imam: bani Habaya, bani Hakos, bani Barzilai. Barzilai itu memperisteri seorang anak perempuan Barzilai, orang Gilead itu, dan sejak itu ia dinamai menurut nama keluarga itu.
And of the Priestes: the sonnes of Habaiah, the sonnes of Hakkoz, the sonnes of Barzillai, which tooke one of the daughters of Barzillai the Gileadite to wife, and was named after their name.
64 Mereka itu menyelidiki apakah nama mereka tercatat dalam silsilah, tetapi karena itu tidak didapati, maka mereka dinyatakan tidak tahir untuk jabatan imam.
These sought their writing of the genealogies, but it was not founde: therefore they were put from the Priesthood.
65 Dan tentang mereka diputuskan oleh kepala daerah, bahwa mereka tidak boleh makan dari persembahan maha kudus, sampai ada seorang imam bertindak dengan memegang Urim dan Tumim.
And the Tirshatha sayd vnto them, that they should not eate of the most holy, till there rose vp a Priest with Vrim and Thummim.
66 Seluruh jemaah itu bersama-sama ada empat puluh dua ribu tiga ratus enam puluh orang,
All the Congregation together was two and fourtie thousand, three hundreth and threescore,
67 selain dari budak mereka laki-laki dan perempuan yang berjumlah tujuh ribu tiga ratus tiga puluh tujuh orang. Pada mereka ada dua ratus empat puluh lima penyanyi laki-laki dan perempuan.
Besides their seruantes and their maydes, which were seuen thousand, three hundreth and seuen and thirtie: and they had two hundreth and fiue and fourtie singing men and singing women.
68 Mereka mempunyai tujuh ratus tiga puluh enam ekor kuda, dua ratus empat puluh lima ekor bagal,
Their horses were seuen hundreth and sixe and thirtie, and their mules two hundreth and fiue and fourtie.
69 empat ratus tiga puluh lima ekor unta dan enam ribu tujuh ratus dua puluh ekor keledai.
The camels foure hundreth and fiue and thirtie, and sixe thousande, seuen hundreth and twentie asses.
70 Sebagian dari kepala kaum keluarga memberi sumbangan untuk pekerjaan itu, sedang kepala daerah memberi sumbangan untuk perbendaharaan seribu dirham emas, lima puluh buah bokor penyiraman, dan lima ratus tiga puluh helai kemeja imam.
And certaine of the chiefe fathers gaue vnto the worke. The Tirshatha gaue to the treasure, a thousand drammes of golde, fiftie basins, fiue hundreth and thirtie Priests garments.
71 Pula beberapa kepala kaum keluarga memberi sumbangan untuk perbendaharaan pekerjaan itu dua puluh ribu dirham emas dan dua ribu dua ratus mina perak.
And some of the chiefe fathers gaue vnto the treasure of the worke, twentie thousand drams of golde, and two thousande and two hundreth pieces of siluer.
72 Dan yang disumbangkan oleh orang-orang lain adalah: dua puluh ribu dirham emas, dua ribu mina perak dan enam puluh tujuh helai kemeja imam.
And the rest of the people gaue twentie thousand drammes of golde, and two thousande pieces of siluer, and three score and seuen Priestes garments.
73 Adapun para imam dan orang-orang Lewi, para penunggu pintu dan para penyanyi, juga sebagian dari rakyat, para budak di bait Allah dan semua orang Israel yang lain menetap di kota-kota mereka. Ketika tiba bulan yang ketujuh, sedang orang Israel telah menetap di kota-kotanya,
And the Priestes, and Leuites, and the porters and the singers and the rest of the people and the Nethinims, and all Israel dwelt in their cities: and when the seuenth moneth came, the children of Israel were in their cities.
