Lukas 1
1 Seperti yang kamu tahu, banyak orang telah mencoba menuliskan segala sesuatu yang telah terpenuhi melibatkan kami.
Inasmuch as many undertook to draw up a narration concerning the accomplished among us things,
2 Mereka mendasarkan laporan mereka pada bukti dari saksi mata yang paling awal dan pelayan Firman,
even as delivered [them] to us those from [the] beginning eyewitnesses and servants having been of the word,
3 maka sayapun memutuskan sebab saya juga mengikuti peristiwa-peristiwa yang sudah terjadi mulai dari awalnya, maka merupakan ide yang baik untuk menuliskannya dengan akurat.
it seemed good also to me also to me having been acquainted from the first with all things carefully with method to you to write, most excellent Theophilus,
4 Saya melakukan ini Teofilus terkasih agar kamu bisa yakin bahwa apa yang diajarkan kepadamu benar-benar bisa dipercaya.
so that you may know concerning which you were instructed [of the] things the certainty.
5 Ketika masa Herodes menjadi Raja di Yudea, ada seorang imam yang bernama Zakaria, dari keluarga Abia. Zakaria menikah dengan Elisabet, yang juga adalah keturunan dari Imam Harun.
There was in the days of Herod (*k*) king of Judea a priest certain named Zechariah of [the] division of Abijah, and (the *k*) wife (of him *N(k)O*) of the daughters of Aaron and the name of her Elizabeth.
6 Mereka berdua melakukan apa yang benar di hadapan Allah, dengan hati-hati mengikuti semua perintah dan peraturan Tuhan.
They were now righteous both (in front of *N(k)O*) God walking in all the commandments and ordinances of the Lord blameless.
7 Mereka tidak memiliki anak sebab Elisabet mandul, dan mereka berdua sudah lanjut usia.
And no there was to them child, inasmuch as was Elizabeth barren and both having advanced in the years of them were.
8 Ketika Zakaria sedang bertugas sebagai imam di hadapan Allah, sebagai wakil dari kelompok imamnya
It came to pass now in the priestly serving of him in the order of the division of him before God,
9 Zakaria dipilih berdasarkan undian menurut adat keimaman untuk masuk ke dalam rumah Tuhan dan membakar dupa.
according to the custom of the priesthood the lot picked [him as] the [one] to burn incense entering into the temple of the Lord;
10 Selama waktu persembahan dupa, kerumunan masyarakat sedang berdoa di luar.
And all the multitude were of the people praying outside at the hour of the incense.
11 Seorang malaikat Tuhan muncul di hadapan Zakaria, berdiri di sebelah kanan mezbah dupa.
Appeared then to him an angel of [the] Lord already standing at [the] right of the altar of the incense;
12 Ketika Zakaria melihat malaikat itu, tertegunlah dia dan merasa takut sekali.
And was troubled Zechariah having seen [him], and fear fell upon him.
13 Tetapi malaikat itu berkata kepadanya, “Janganlah takut, hai Zakaria. Allah sudah mendengar doamu. Elisabet, istrimu itu, akan mengandung dan melahirkan seorang anak laki-laki, dan kamu akan memberi nama anak itu, Yohanes.
Said then to him the angel; Not do fear Zechariah; because has been heard the prayer of you, and the wife of You Elizabeth will bear a son to you, and you will call the name of him John.
14 Dia akan memberikan kamusukacita dan kebahagiaan, dan banyak yang akan merayakan kelahirannya.
And he will be joy to you and gladness, and many at the (birth *N(k)O*) of him will rejoice.
15 Anakmu itu akan menjadi luar biasa di hadapan Tuhan. Dia tidak akan mau minum air anggur ataupun minuman yang memabukkan lainnya. Dan dia akan dipenuhi oleh Roh Allah bahkan sebelum dia dilahirkan.
He will be for great before the Lord, and wine and strong drink certainly not shall he drink, and [of the] Spirit Holy he will be filled even from [the] womb of [the] mother of him.
16 Dia akan membuat banyak orang Israel kembali percaya kepada Tuhan Allah mereka.
And many of the sons of Israel he will turn to [the] Lord the God of them,
17 Dia akan mendahului Tuhan dalam roh dan kuasa Elia, untuk mengembalikan hati para ayah kepada anak-anak mereka, dan mereka yang memberontak kembali ke jalan yang benar — untuk mempersiapkan orang-orang menerima Tuhan.”
And he himself will go forth before Him in [the] spirit and power of Elijah to turn [the] hearts of [the] fathers to [the] children and [the] disobedient to [the] wisdom of [the] righteous, to make ready for [the] Lord a people prepared.
18 “Bagaimana saya bisa yakin hal itu akan terjadi?” tanya Zakaria kepada malaikat. “Aku sudah tua, demikian juga istriku.”
And said Zechariah to the angel; By what will I know this? I myself for am an old man, and the wife of mine having advanced in the years of her.
19 “Aku adalah Gabriel,” jawab sang Malaikat. “Aku berdiri di hadapan Allah, dan dikirim untuk berbicara kepadamu dan memberitakan kepadamu kabar baik ini.
And answering the angel said to him; I myself am Gabriel the [one] standing before God and I was sent to speak to you and to bring glad tidings to you these.
20 Tetapi karena kamu tidak percaya pada perkataanku, kamu akan menjadi bisu, tidak dapat berkata-kata, sampai pada waktunya ketika setiap ucapanku menjadi kenyataan.”
And behold you will be silent and not able to speak until that day may happen these things, in return for that not you did believe in the words of mine which will be fulfilled in the season of them.
21 Sementara di luar orang-orang sedang menunggu Zakaria, dan bertanya-tanya mengapa dia begitu lama ada di dalam rumah Tuhan.
And were the people expecting Zechariah and they were wondering at the delaying in the temple of him.
22 Ketika akhirnya Zakaria keluar, dia tidak bisa mengucapkan perkataan apa pun kepada mereka. Mereka menyadari bahwa tentunya Zakaria mendapat penglihatan di rumah Tuhan, sebab sekalipun dia bisa memberi bahasa isyarat, tetapi Zakaria benar-benar menjadi bisu.
Having come out then not he was able to speak to them; and they recognized that a vision he has seen in the temple. And he himself was making signs to them and was remaining mute.
23 Sesudah selesai masa bertugasnya, kembalilah Zakaria ke rumah.
And it came to pass when were fulfilled the days of the service of him, he departed to the home of him.
24 Beberapa waktu kemudian, Elisabet, istri Zakaria mengandung. Dan dia tinggal di rumah selama lima bulan lamanya.
After then these days conceived Elizabeth the wife of him and was hiding herself months five saying
25 “Tuhan yang melakukan ini kepadaku,” katanya, “Tuhan sudah mengambil aibku di mata orang lain.”
that Thus to me has done (the *k*) Lord in [the] days in which He looked upon [me] to take away (the *k*) disgrace of mine among men.
26 Pada bulan ke enam di masa kehamilan Elisabet, Allah mengirim malaikat Gabriel kepada seorang perempuan muda yang bernama Maria, yang tinggal di kota Nazaret di Galilea.
In now the month sixth was sent the angel Gabriel (by *N(k)O*) God to a city of Galilee whose name [was] Nazareth
27 Maria bertunangan dengan seorang pemuda yang bernama Yusuf.
to a virgin betrothed to a man whose name [was] Joseph of [the] house of David, and the name of the virgin [was] Mary.
28 Sang malaikat menyapa Maria. “Sungguh dirimu ini diberkati, Maria,” kata malaikat. “Tuhan beserta denganmu.”
And having come (*ko*) (angel *KO*) to her he said; Greetings! you graciously favored; The Lord [is] with you. (blessed [are] you yourself among women. *KO*)
29 Maria sangat bingung dengan apa yang dia katakan, dan bertanya-tanya apa arti salam ini.
And (having seen [him] *K*) at the statement she was troubled (of him *k*) and was pondering what kind would be salutation this.
30 “Janganlah kuatir, Maria,” lanjut malaikat itu, “sebab Allah menunjukkan kebaikan hati-Nya kepadamu.
And said the angel to her; Not do fear Mary, you have found for favor with God.
31 Kamu akan mengandung dan melahirkan seorang anak laki-laki. Dan kamu akan memberi nama Yesus kepada anak itu.
and behold you will conceive in womb and will bring forth a son and you will call the name of Him Jesus.
32 Dia akan menjadi sangat hebat, dan dia akan disebut Anak Yang Mahatinggi. Tuhan Allah akan memberinya takhta Daud, ayahnya,
He will be great and Son of [the] Most High He will be called, and will give to Him [the] Lord God the throne of David of the father of Him,
33 dan Dia akan memerintah atas bangsa Israel selamanya. Kerajaan-Nya tidak akan pernah berakhir.” (aiōn g165)
and He will reign over the house of Jacob to the ages, and of the kingdom of Him not there will be an end! (aiōn g165)
34 “Bagaimana mungkin hal itu terjadi?” kata Maria. “Saya ini seorang perawan.”
Said then Mary to the angel; How will be this since a man not I know?
35 Jawab malaikat itu, “Roh Kudus akan datang ke atasmu, dan kuasa dari Yang Mahatinggi akan menguasaimu. Bayi yang ada dalam kandunganmu itu kudus, dan akan dipanggil dengan sebutan Anak Allah.
And answering the angel said to her; [the] Spirit Holy will come upon you and power of [the] Most High will overshadow you; therefore also the [one] being born Holy [One] will be called [the] Son of God.
36 Dan sepupumu, Elisabet, bahkan dia hamil di usia tuanya. Wanita yang dikatakan orang tidak bisa punya anak itu sudah hamil enam bulan.
And behold Elizabeth the (relative *N(k)O*) of you also she (has conceived *N(k)O*) a son in old age of her, and this month [the] sixth is to her who [was] called barren
37 Tidak ada sesuatu yang tidak mungkin bagi Allah.”
For not will be impossible with (God *N(k)O*) every declaration.
38 “Aku ini pelayan Tuhan,” kata Maria. “Terjadilah padaku sesuai dengan perkataanmu.” Lalu malaikat itu meninggalkan Maria.
Said then Mary; Behold the handmaid of [the] Lord; Would [that] it happen to me according to the declaration of you. And departed from her the angel.
39 Beberapa waktu kemudian, Maria menyiapkan dirinya, dan pergi ke daerah perbukitan Yudea, ke kota kecil tempat
Having risen up then Mary in days these she went into the hill country with haste to a town of Judah
40 Zakaria tinggal. Maria memanggil Elisabet ketika dia masuk ke rumah mereka.
and she entered into the house of Zechariah and greeted Elizabeth.
41 Segera ketika Elisabet mendengar suara Maria, bayi yang ada dalam kandungannya seakan-akan melompat kegirangan di dalam perutnya. Dan Elisabet penuh dengan Roh Kudus,
And it came to pass as heard the greeting of Mary Elizabeth, leaped the baby in the womb of her, and was filled with [the] Spirit Holy Elizabeth
42 dan berseru dengan suara nyaring, “Diberkatilah kamu di antara para perempuan, dan diberkatilah anak yang akan kamu lahirkan itu!
and she cried out (in a shout *N(k)O*) loud and said; Blessed [are] you yourself among women, and blessed [is] the fruit of the womb of you.
43 Mengapa saya begitu terhormat bahwa ibu Tuhan saya harus mengunjungi saya?
And from where to me this that may come the mother of the Lord of mine to me myself?
44 Segera sesudah saya mendengar salammu, bayi saya melompat kegirangan di dalam diri saya.
Behold for as came the voice of the greeting of you into the ears of mine, leaped in exultation the baby in the womb of mine.
45 Betapa beruntungnya kamu, sebab kamu percaya bahwa Tuhan akan melakukan apa yang Dia janjikan kepadamu!”
And blessed [is] the [one] having believed that there will be a fulfillment to the [things] spoken to her from [the] Lord.
46 Jawab Maria, “Sungguh saya memuji Tuhan!
And said Mary: Magnifies the soul of Mine the Lord,
47 Aku bersukacita karena Allah penyelamatku,
and rejoices the spirit of mine in God the Savior of mine,
48 sebab Dia sudah memutuskan bahwa saya, hamba-Nya, layak mendapat perhatian-Nya, meskipun latar belakangku hanya orang biasa saja. Mulai dari sekarang, setiap generasi akan berkata bahwa saya sungguh diberkati.
For He has looked upon the humiliation of the handmaiden of Him. Behold for from henceforth will count blessed me all the generations
49 Allah yang Mahakuasa sudah melakukan perbuatan-perbuatan yang luar biasa untukku, kuduslah nama-Nya.
For has done to me (great [things] *N(k)O*) the Mighty One; And holy [is] the name of Him;
50 Belas kasihan-Nya dari generasi ke generasi terus selamanya kepada mereka yang hormat kepada Dia.
And the mercy of Him [is] to generations (and *no*) (generations *N(k)O*) to those fearing Him;
51 Dengan kuasa-Nya Dia telah menghancurkan orang-orang yang dengan sombongnya berpikir bahwa mereka sangat pintar.
He has shown strength with [the] arm of Him; He has scattered [the] proud in [the] thought of heart of them;
52 Tuhan meruntuhkan orang-orang yang berkuasa dari tahta mereka, dan menaikkan orang-orang yang rendah hati.
He has brought down rulers from thrones and exalted [the] humble;
53 Dan memberi makan orang-orang yang lapar dengan makanan yang enak, dan mengirim orang-orang kaya pergi dengan tangan kosong.
[Those] hungering He has filled with good things and [those] being rich He has sent away empty;
54 Tuhan menolong hamba-Nya Israel, mengingat dia dalam belas kasihan-Nya,
He has helped Israel [the] servant of Him remembering mercy,
55 seperti janji-Nya kepada nenek moyang kita, kepada Abraham dan keturunannya sampai selamanya.” (aiōn g165)
even as He spoke to the fathers of us, to Abraham and to the descendants of him to the age. (aiōn g165)
56 Dan Maria tinggal di rumah Elisabet tiga bulan lamanya, lalu dia kembali pulang.
Dwelt then Mary with her (about *N(k)O*) months three and returned to the home of her.
57 Sementara itu, tibalah waktunya bagi Elisabet untuk melahirkan bayinya.
Now Elizabeth was fulfilled the time to give birth for her and she bore a son.
58 Para tetangga dan keluarga besarnya mendengar bagaimana Tuhan menunjukkan kebaikan yang sangat besar kepadanya, dan bersama-sama mereka bersukacita.
And heard the neighbours and the relatives of her that magnified [the] Lord the mercy of Him with her, and they were rejoicing with her.
59 Delapan hari kemudian mereka datang untuk menyunat anak itu. Bermaksud menamakan anak itu Zakaria seperti nama ayahnya.
And it came to pass on day the eighth they came to circumcise the child and were calling it after the name of the father of him Zechariah.
60 “Bukan,” jawab Elisabet. “Namanya adalah Yohanes.”
And answering the mother of him said; No, but he will be called John.
61 “Tetapi tidak seorangpun di antara keluargamu yang memiliki nama itu,” kata mereka kepadanya.
And they said to her that No [one] is (among the relatives *N(k)O*) of you who is called the name by this.
62 Mereka bertanya kepada Zakaria, ayah anak itu, dengan menggunakan bahasa isyarat, “Bapak hendak memberi nama apa kepada anak bapak?”
They were making signs then to the father of him the what maybe he would wish to be called (him. *N(k)O*)
63 Zakharia memberi isyarat untuk menulis sesuatu, dan menulis, “Namanya adalah Yohanes.” Dan semua orang heran membacanya.
And having asked for a writing tablet he wrote saying; John is (the *ko*) name of him. And they marveled all.
64 Dengan segera Zakaria bisa berbicara kembali, dan dia mulai memuji Allah.
Was opened then the mouth of him immediately and the tongue of him and he was speaking blessing God.
65 Mereka yang tinggal di sekeliling rumah itu kagum dengan apa yang sudah terjadi, dan berita itu tersebar sampai ke seluruh bagian perbukitan di Yudea.
And came upon all fear those dwelling around them; and in all the hill country of Judea were being talked about all declarations these,
66 Setiap orang yang mendengar berita itu bertanya-tanya apa yang sesungguhnya akan terjadi. “Akan menjadi apa anak ini jika besar nanti?” tanya mereka, sebab mereka tahu bahwa Allah menyertai anak ini.
And laid [them] up all those having heard in the heart of them saying; What then child this will be? And (for *no*) [the] hand of [the] Lord was with him.
67 Zakaria, ayah anak itu, oleh karena dipenuhi Roh Kudus mulai menubuatkan perkataan ini:
And Zechariah the father of him was filled with [the] Spirit Holy and prophesied saying;
68 “Tuhan, Allah orang Israel, sungguh ajaib sebab Dia datang dan membebaskan umat-Nya.
Blessed [be] [the] Lord the God of Israel, because He has visited and He has performed redemption [on] the people of Him,
69 Sudah diberikan oleh-Nya seorang Juruselamat dari garis keturunan Daud,
and has raised up a horn of salvation for us in (the *k*) house of David (the *k*) servant of Him,
even as He spoke through [the] mouth of the holy (of the *k*) of [old] age prophets of Him; (aiōn g165)
71 Dia berjanji akan menyelamatkan kita dari musuh-musuh kita, dari orang-orang yang membenci kita.
salvation from [the] enemies of us and from [the] hand of all those hating us,
72 Dia bermurah hati kepada nenek moyang kita sebab Dia ingat perjanjian kudus-Nya —
to fulfill mercy toward the fathers of us, and to remember [the] covenant holy of Him,
73 janji yang Dia buat dengan Abraham, bapak leluhur kita.
[the] oath that He swore to Abraham the father of us,
74 Dia membebaskan kita dari rasa takut dan menyelamatkan kita dari musuh-musuh kita,
to grant us without fear from [the] hand (of the *k*) enemies (of us *k*) having been saved to serve Him
75 agar kita bisa melayani Dia dengan cara melakukan perbuatan-perbuatan yang baik dan benar selama hidup kita.
in holiness and righteousness before Him (all the days *N(k)O*) (of the life *k*) of us.
76 Sekalipun kamu masih kecil, kamu akan dikenal sebagai nabi dari Allah yang Mahatinggi, sebab kamu akan berjalan di depan Tuhan dan membuka jalan bagi-Nya,
And you yourself (now, *no*) child, prophet of [the] Most High will be called; you will go for (in front of *N(k)O*) ([the] face of *ko*) [the] Lord to prepare ways of Him,
77 dengan memberikan pengetahuan tentang keselamatan melalui pengampunan atas dosa-dosa manusia kepada umat-Nya.
to give knowledge of salvation to the people of Him in forgiveness of [the] sins of them
78 Melalui kasih sayang Allah atas kita, keselamatan yang dari surga akan turun atas kita
through [the] affections of compassion of God of us in which (will visit *N(k)O*) us [the] Sunrise from on high,
79 untuk menyinari mereka yang hidup dalam kegelapan dan bayang-bayang kematian dan untuk membimbing kita sepanjang jalan yang membawa damai.”
to shine upon those in darkness and in [the] shadow of death sitting, to direct the feet of us into [the] way of peace.
80 Yohanes bertambah besar dan bertambah kuat rohaninya. Dia hidup di padang gurun sampai tiba saatnya untuk dia melayani umat Israel dengan terbuka.
And the child was continuing to grow and he was strengthened in spirit and he was in the deserted places until [the] day of appearance of him to Israel.
