Mazmur 82

1 Mazmur Asaf. Allah memimpin sidang ilahi di surga, lalu Ia memberi keputusan-Nya:

A psalm of Asaph God [is] taking his stand in [the] congregation of God in [the] midst of [the] gods he gives judgment.

2 "Jangan lagi mengadili dengan curang, dan jangan memihak kepada orang jahat.

Until when? will you judge injustice and [the] face of wicked [people] will you lift up (Selah)

3 Belalah anak yatim dan orang lemah, berilah keadilan kepada orang miskin dan sengsara.

Give judgment for [the] poor and [the] fatherless [the] afflicted and [the] poor vindicate.

4 Bebaskanlah orang yang lemah dan tak berdaya, luputkan mereka dari tangan orang jahat.

Deliver [the] poor and [the] needy from [the] hand of wicked [people] rescue [them].

5 Kamu tak tahu apa-apa, bodoh dan sesat, karena kamu, tata tertib masyarakat berantakan.

Not they know - and not they understand in darkness they walk about they are shaken all [the] foundations of [the] earth.

6 Aku berkata bahwa kamu ilahi kamu sekalian anak-anak Allah Yang Mahatinggi.

I I said [are] gods you and [are] [the] children of [the] Most High all of you.

7 Tapi kamu akan mati seperti manusia, seperti setiap pembesar, kamu pun akan tewas."

Nevertheless like humankind you will die! and like one of the princes you will fall.

8 Datanglah ya Allah, hakimilah dunia, sebab semua bangsa adalah milik-Mu.

Arise! O God judge! the earth for you you have an inheritance among all the nations.
