Mazmur 75

1 Untuk pemimpin kor. Menurut lagu: Jangan memusnahkan. Mazmur Asaf. Nyanyian. Kami menyembah Engkau, ya Allah, kami bersyukur kepada-Mu dan mewartakan karya-Mu yang mengagumkan.

To him that excelleth. Destroy not. A Psalme or song committed toAsaph. We will prayse thee, O God, we will prayse thee, for thy Name is neere: therefore they will declare thy wonderous workes.

2 Allah berkata, "Pada waktu yang Kutentukan, Aku akan menghakimi dengan adil.

When I shall take a conuenient time, I will iudge righteously.

3 Bila bumi goncang dengan semua penduduknya Akulah yang mengokohkan tiang-tiangnya."

The earth and all the inhabitantes thereof are dissolued: but I will establish the pillars of it. (Selah)

4 Kepada orang yang suka membual, Aku berkata supaya jangan lagi membual.

I saide vnto the foolish, Be not so foolish, and to the wicked, Lift not vp the horne.

5 Dan kepada orang jahat, supaya jangan lagi bersikap congkak. Jangan memegahkan diri atau bicara dengan sombong.

Lift not vp your horne on high, neither speake with a stiffe necke.

6 Sebab penghakiman tidak datang dari timur atau barat tidak juga dari utara atau selatan.

For to come to preferment is neither from the East, nor from the West, nor from the South,

7 Tetapi Allah sendirilah yang menghakimi, Ia merendahkan yang satu dan meninggikan yang lain.

But God is the iudge: he maketh lowe and he maketh hie.

8 Kemarahan TUHAN seperti piala di tangan-Nya, piala itu berisi air anggur keras. Allah menuangkan isinya, semua penjahat di bumi harus meminumnya sampai habis.

For in the hand of the Lord is a cup, and the wine is red: it is full mixt, and he powreth out of the same: surely all the wicked of the earth shall wring out and drinke the dregges thereof.

9 Tetapi aku akan tetap mewartakan Allah Yakub, menyanyikan pujian-pujian bagi-Nya.

But I will declare for euer, and sing prayses vnto the God of Iaakob.

10 Ia akan mematahkan kekuatan orang jahat, sedangkan orang baik bertambah kuat.

All the hornes of the wicked also will I breake: but the hornes of the righteous shalbe exalted.
