< Mazmur 6 >
1 Untuk pemimpin kor. Dengan permainan kecapi. Menurut lagu yang kedelapan. Mazmur Daud. TUHAN, janganlah menghajar aku dalam kemarahan-Mu, jangan menghukum aku dalam kegusaran-Mu.
To the chief music-maker on corded instruments, on the Sheminith. A Psalm. Of David. O Lord, do not be bitter with me in your wrath; do not send punishment on me in the heat of your passion.
2 Kasihanilah aku ya TUHAN, sebab aku kehabisan tenaga, kuatkanlah aku sebab aku kepayahan.
Have mercy on me, O Lord, for I am wasted away: make me well, for even my bones are troubled.
3 Hatiku sangat kebingungan; sampai kapan Kautinggalkan aku, ya TUHAN?
My soul is in bitter trouble; and you, O Lord, how long?
4 Kembalilah, TUHAN, dan luputkanlah aku, selamatkanlah aku karena kasih-Mu.
Come back, O Lord, make my soul free; O give me salvation because of your mercy.
5 Sebab di alam maut Engkau tidak diingat lagi; tak ada yang memuji Engkau di dunia orang mati. (Sheol )
For in death there is no memory of you; in the underworld who will give you praise? (Sheol )
6 Aku letih lesu karena mengaduh; setiap malam air mataku mengalir membasahi tempat tidurku.
The voice of my sorrow is a weariness to me; all the night I make my bed wet with weeping; it is watered by the drops flowing from my eyes.
7 Mataku rabun karena sedih, dan suram karena musuh-musuhku.
My eyes are wasting away with trouble; they are becoming old because of all those who are against me.
8 Enyahlah, hai orang-orang jahat, sebab TUHAN telah mendengar tangisku.
Go from me, all you workers of evil; for the Lord has given ear to the voice of my weeping.
9 TUHAN mendengar permohonanku dan menerima doaku.
The Lord has given ear to my request; the Lord has let my prayer come before him.
10 Semua musuhku akan terkejut dan malu dan segera mundur dengan tersipu-sipu.
Let all those who are against me be shamed and deeply troubled; let them be turned back and suddenly put to shame.
